I liked the comparison of China and EU and how similar they are. This is in obvious contention with western narrative of a authoritarian centralized country. All governments are authoritarian and they are made-up of smart and dumb people, of various personalities. They all act generally similar but with some quicks. The world is going through a slow down, with varying degrees of fiscal, monetary action by each government. China is not stimulating it's economy, it is stabilizing it. The federal government almost always have to transfer funds to local governments, as the federal government collect most of the taxes.
