Flintlock: when you understand each boss's mechanics, it's brilliant. I did have to look up how to deal with one boss move, because you're supposed to use a long gun to interrupt it. And the final boss would have been a lot easier with the gauntlet that extends your melee range. Really solid game. The moment where I had the greatest respect for it though, first optional superhard boss. Because the reward for it was an extremely optional melee weapon that buffs up with your XP combo, based on you doing a variety of moves without getting hit. So it's a weapon that is only a reward for the kind of player who can handle a boss that can two-shot you and you *really* need to parry the heck out of him to win. And it doesn't require any special material to upgrade, just your XP/cash. So it isn't part of the normal upgrade economy. That's clearly intentional. It told me SO much about the way the dev team thinks, and that they were allowing for a high skill ceiling, but not making it mandatory.

Many people didn't play at least 2 of the games because they are associated with the SB and so they flopped.
And yet there's not a single piece of content in the games themselves that the people who complain about that would have any problem with. Not like it matters what Prejudice people think anyways
@@OversoulGaming I heard at least one argument about one of the games: SB pushed the change of the main character in the middle of production to one that doesn't fit the original idea of the game so it isn't something that people like and want to get to know this character. If you don't like sth it isn't "being prejudiced". So, please, stop pointing fingers at other people and whining about things you think people "must like" but they don't.
I thought the SB conspiracy theory fell out of fashion but I guess some people like the delusion
