I like Yes, Pink Floyd, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Camel and a lot of prog groups, bought all their records in the 70's, and rebought all the cd's in the 80's... but nothing was like Genesis. Great channel!

This was the first album that I bought with my own money after leaving school and starting work. 1972 I think. One of my new work mates invited me round after work and he played it. I had never heard anything like it before. I just had to buy a copy the very next weekend. Bought it again on cd in the 80’s. I love to hear it, takes me back to happier days, before I ruined my life by getting married. Haha.

Tony Banks was the "architect" of this song. He wrote it (including the melody) and arranged it. Give the guy the credit he deserves.

This Foxtrot album reminds me of the very old Victorian workshops i got a job in, albeit only for six odd months before moving on from it, in 1984. Someone taped it for me and i just could not, stop, playing it for WEEKS after i got it. Especially good is this track.

A few years ago, I wrote to the producers of Game of Thrones, suggesting that this was the track for the upcoming season's trailers. Theres alot to be said about chemistry, i choose Genesis over their solo careers anyday! Lets put it this way, if Genesis were a big beautiful luxury cruise ship, their 5 solo careers are like stepping off the boat and being on a life raft !!! Lol
This Song accurately fits with “Dark Souls/Elden Ring” gameplay and lore.
I so wish Foxtrot or Nursery Crime had been the double album.
