Indiana Dunes State Park

We stopped off at the Indiana Dunes State park campground for a couple of nights following our trip to Chicago for the IMTS trade show. This park is not only beautiful t's also unique in that it's nestled inside of the Indiana Dunes National Park. During our visit we drove down to thew main beach to check it out and we also went on one of the hikes from the campground over to Mount Tom. This was a challenging hike considering how many steps it takes to ascend and descend the trail over the dune. We had a couple of nice camp cooks while there and even enjoyed visiting Chesterton as well.
