What I noticed more is that in the recent movies they just really seem to not care about damage to the surrounding buildings for some reason. Kind of like what happened at Atlantis and they're like oh my God where we going to do about the Tsunami that's about to kill a lot of people, and Batman's like nothing, and then they just watch it happen? They literally have someone who can shoot him into space with a ring. Pretty sure that couldve been an option at some point. Any point. Any time at all.

Flash hit him in the face with a mace faster than the speed of a bullet. But that didn't damage his suit. However, when Batman threw 3 small explosives at him it tore a bit off.

That is one issue with having Justice League Dark having already been released and part of this shared universe. Unless Doomsday has a magic immunity Constantine or Zatanna should have at least sent him far away if not defeated him.
How does flash even lose fights? Super speed has shown to be 1 of the most Op powers and we learn that he actually sees things in slow motion whem he is usimg them. He should never be defeated unless he goes up against another speedster or anyone that can move almost as fast
I've read that the entite doomsday fight lasted a total 5 minutes in the comics. Insinuating that doomsday indeed fought in super speed. He is an adaptation creature after all.
Flash is the fastest hero in Multiverse, no question about it. Realistically, when Flash is moving that fast and proceeding to get even faster by the looks of it, Doomsday shouldn't even be able to touch him, even if he can get faster. Flash's speed even outmatches Superman, on Earth at least. Flying in space is a different matter but even then it's hard to say if Superman can travel faster, and I'm still leaning on the Flash being faster. But this isn't the Flash's movie, it's Superman's moment to shine, so the Flash had to be taken out, same with GL. It's simply plot armour.
@@osirisjojo6876 Maybe so, but Flash can run at incredibly high speeds. That with the combined weight of Hawkman's weapon, his impacts should've been equivalent to explosives or more. A plank of wood is harmless on it's own, but have a tornado throw it at you at 300MPH and it becomes a damn deadly blade.
Flash with that mace should have been about as hard as Superman if not harder. Force is mass x acceleration. Free mass of the hammer flash used along with his superior speed should easily had done so much more work Th an we saw it do here. Lifting strength has nothing to do with strike especially present in fiction. We already saw the flash do a super speed punch on trigon in a different movie with it supposedly seeming like it was the true big move among Sups Wonder Woman and Flash. So this version of flash has already displayed the ability to hit hard asf. Obvious DD can’t just loses or have trouble now cause we need Superman to get more than his turn in his death film. However, this is still poorly done. If they wanted the league busy than have them leave on a space mission and Sups relied on to protect earth. Than have Sups die fighting a being that no other hero was around to finish the battle that he had to step up too.
Watching flash fight is always one of the highlights of every battle for me. Something about seeing enemies get overwhelmed by his pace and rythm is just so satisfying, even if he loses most of the bigger battles alone

I hate how disrespected Hal is in all these movies. Hal is the best green lantern the corpse has to offer and that means a lot, he’s not just some side show. He wouldn’t beat Doomsday of course but he sure as hell wouldn’t loose like that, Hal is more than capable of keeping up for a while.
It was just summarized briefly, he would still get his ass handed to him by Doomsday but the movie needed to keep going. Consider the fact that Doomsday in the comics has beaten the shit out of both Darkseid and Superman, theres not a lot a single Green Lantern can do
I like how you can see Doomsday adapting in real time; when Flash starts blitzing him, he gets knocked around a lot at first, but as soon as he realizes he can't reach Flash himself, he shields himself, identifies a pattern in his movements, and then exploits it. Having power is one thing; being able to use it intelligently is another.
@@KK-wc9wi I mean, Doomsday still isn't an incredibly intelligent being. He's just intelligent enough to adapt his strategy in combat. Flash was likely expecting him to be a complete brute(since that was all he had acted like up to that point) and got blindsided when he intercepted him. If he'd known he could think and strategize from the word go he probably wouldn't have gotten decked into next month.

That said it’s a great example of how doomsdays reactive adaptation works, it doesn’t make him immune to harm, it simply allows his anatomy to adapt the threat he’s faced against. Flash has been one-shot by enemies far slower and less powerful than Doomday. Also besides taking him to the end of time I’m pretty sure he doesn’t actually have a way of being able to kill doomsday.

It's not stupidity, it's their duty to protect and serve no matter how dangerous the situation. Even if they couldn't kill it, they'd at least do their best to hold it off so that civilians could be evacuated and the Justice League would arrive to help.

Because the Writers maybe never read a Comic. In the last of the "War of the Green Lanters" Comics Hal was even able to kill Krona with his Ring. A Member of the Species of the Guardians of the Universe which left the rest of the Guardians in Shock, becuase they adjusted the Rings, that they could never harm a Guardian.
Like Batman knows shit about cosmic toys. Shut the fuck up, Bruce. The Guardians said it's the most powerful weapon, but the thing to remember is, the Guardians are lying duplicitous little midgets. No Lantern worth a shit actually trusts them, and for good reason. Although it raises an interesting question. What IS the most powerful? Marvel is far more into these types of toys than DC is, but DC still has a few. Personally, I'd say it's the Sword of Superman, if that counts. It's basically equivalent to Marvel's Heart of the Universe. It only appeared in one story in the early 80s. Supes is given the chance to wield it, but he turns it down, because doing so would mean giving up his physical form and, basically, becoming God. Which he didn't want to do. But it was shortly before COIE's reality-wide reboot, so it might not canonically exist anymore. Then again, Convergence undid the reality-wide reboot some years back. ... Have I mentioned DC continuity is an absolute mess? Anyway. If the sword doesn't count, I'd say Tenth Metal. Tenth Metal "can be manipulated by thought alone to achieve nearly anything". It was the Deus Ex Machina from Dark Knights: Metal where, after losing all of reality to an evil dark god, the league gets ahold of some and uses it as an "I win because I said I win" card. Shit's powerful, yo. But yeah. Lantern rings aren't NEARLY the most powerful weapon in DC. LOL. Fuckin' lying smurf bastards.

He shouldn't be able to lay a finger on Flash, but Flash wouldn't be able to harm Doomsday either. I mean, maybe if he goes all out balls to the wall and throws an Infinite Mass Punch at him, but I don't think this Flash can do that yet. So yea, they'd stalemate each other. Flash is way too fast for Doomsday to hit but Flash's attacks would just bounce harmlessly off Doomsday, even if they are enhanced by his speed.

@@iamranndizzle3204 I always thought that Flash was fast, but didn't have tough bones, so he would break his wrist trying to punch Superman. Were there any times when he actually hurt him? Of course, he could by getting a red sun radiation gun, kryptonite, or some lead foil and glue to cover Superman's skin so he would gradually lose his powers, but these all take preparation and resources. I agree the mace attack should have worked way better, considering the mace was considered almost as strong as Superman.

Nichole Lakin Dixon even then he doesnt do much anyways in these movies. Same with hal, all he does is summon a shield and waits for his turn to get the shit beat out of him. Hal by himself isnt beating doomsday, but he is one of if not the strongest green lantern as his willpower is massive. In the source material his willpower makes him powerful enough to tango with beings far far far stronger than the average green lantern, and hes pulled off superman like feats as well(moving planets and what not). I understand he has to get nerfed in movies because everyone is nerfed, but at the very minimum dc could do a better job then restricting him to being a green punching bag who doesnt attack for shit except for 1 or 2 energy blasts and the occasional construct. O and 90 percent of his fights is just defense with a shield. You can create any object you know with a lantern ring, and the strength of those constructs increase with willpower. But hal of these movies show no creativity whatsoever. The GL are useless in animated movies. Its like if doctor strange only blasted energy and never used any of his other magic

Hawkman hits doomsday with the mace. It knocks him loopsided into a building. Flash picks up the mace, starts running and taps into the speedforce. Hits doomsday and just staggers him. i would think more damage would have happened ??????

Im realy suprizex Flash had that little impact. Hes litterally the most powerfull of them all and can take on Doomsday solo. All i can imagine is that he underestimated him. But even then, I am suprised he even got hit.
A bit late but the death of Superman was made before flashpoint and the new 52. During this time, dc considered Superman the strongest member of the justice league until they realized the best way to have the other heroes comics sell was to have them beat Superman in a fight. I feel that’s why flash couldn’t do much, because this was before he got the speed we know him for today.

Honestly green lantern should have been able to handle this no problem. 2:30 could have launched him into space any number of ways. build a rocket around him. throw him up in the air and continuously boost him up with constructs too many and big for him to punch etc. and he certainly should have been able to get out from under the pounding. turn the bubble into a drill to drill through the ground. hell he could have stayed up in the air pounding the fuck out of DD from 1,000 feet up and be untouchable.

They cops did do something right, though. They showed up, even though they were outmatched, to save people and try kill Doomsday. Like REAL cops, they put their lives before others.

Feel like Hal in these movies is younger, I know he's usually confident (more cocky this version) but his older more expert self in the books is actually really smart in his solo comics. Though with groups he's usually the funny guy which I don't usually mind...until they make him dumb and weak

I think if superman's punch at the end of the movie broke doomsday's neck, then Hawkman's mace hit probably would've also broke his neck if he wasn't sent flying by the recoil. Superman or green lantern holding him in one place with that force to the head probably would've killed doomsday

Hell, he's probably already got it since it'd be hard to believe no one ever dropped a thermonuclear weapon on him during all his carnage and they work on the same basic premise (nuclear fusion). Back in the 90s they confirmed that the only thing he can't evolve defense against is entropy. Which is how Imperiex Prime killed him for realsies, because IP is entropy based.

How does flash even lose fights? Super speed has shown to be 1 of the most Op powers and we learn that he actually sees things in slow motion whem he is usimg them. He should never be defeated unless he goes up against another speedster or anyone that can move almost as fast

I've read that the entite doomsday fight lasted a total 5 minutes in the comics. Insinuating that doomsday indeed fought in super speed. He is an adaptation creature after all.
Flash is the fastest hero in Multiverse, no question about it. Realistically, when Flash is moving that fast and proceeding to get even faster by the looks of it, Doomsday shouldn't even be able to touch him, even if he can get faster. Flash's speed even outmatches Superman, on Earth at least. Flying in space is a different matter but even then it's hard to say if Superman can travel faster, and I'm still leaning on the Flash being faster. But this isn't the Flash's movie, it's Superman's moment to shine, so the Flash had to be taken out, same with GL. It's simply plot armour.
Unless Flash runs out of stamina and Doomsday doesn’t. He’s still a human speedster after all.

We already saw the flash do a super speed punch on trigon in a different movie with it supposedly seeming like it was the true big move among Sups Wonder Woman and Flash. So this version of flash has already displayed the ability to hit hard asf.
Obvious DD can’t just loses or have trouble now cause we need Superman to get more than his turn in his death film.
However, this is still poorly done. If they wanted the league busy than have them leave on a space mission and Sups relied on to protect earth. Than have Sups die fighting a being that no other hero was around to finish the battle that he had to step up too.

Watching flash fight is always one of the highlights of every battle for me. Something about seeing enemies get overwhelmed by his pace and rythm is just so satisfying, even if he loses most of the bigger battles alone

I hate how disrespected Hal is in all these movies. Hal is the best green lantern the corpse has to offer and that means a lot, he’s not just some side show. He wouldn’t beat Doomsday of course but he sure as hell wouldn’t loose like that, Hal is more than capable of keeping up for a while.

It was just summarized briefly, he would still get his ass handed to him by Doomsday but the movie needed to keep going. Consider the fact that Doomsday in the comics has beaten the shit out of both Darkseid and Superman, theres not a lot a single Green Lantern can do

I like how you can see Doomsday adapting in real time; when Flash starts blitzing him, he gets knocked around a lot at first, but as soon as he realizes he can't reach Flash himself, he shields himself, identifies a pattern in his movements, and then exploits it. Having power is one thing; being able to use it intelligently is another.
@@KK-wc9wi I mean, Doomsday still isn't an incredibly intelligent being. He's just intelligent enough to adapt his strategy in combat. Flash was likely expecting him to be a complete brute(since that was all he had acted like up to that point) and got blindsided when he intercepted him. If he'd known he could think and strategize from the word go he probably wouldn't have gotten decked into next month.

That said it’s a great example of how doomsdays reactive adaptation works, it doesn’t make him immune to harm, it simply allows his anatomy to adapt the threat he’s faced against.
Flash has been one-shot by enemies far slower and less powerful than Doomday. Also besides taking him to the end of time I’m pretty sure he doesn’t actually have a way of being able to kill doomsday.

The Guardians said it's the most powerful weapon, but the thing to remember is, the Guardians are lying duplicitous little midgets. No Lantern worth a shit actually trusts them, and for good reason.
Although it raises an interesting question. What IS the most powerful? Marvel is far more into these types of toys than DC is, but DC still has a few. Personally, I'd say it's the Sword of Superman, if that counts. It's basically equivalent to Marvel's Heart of the Universe. It only appeared in one story in the early 80s. Supes is given the chance to wield it, but he turns it down, because doing so would mean giving up his physical form and, basically, becoming God. Which he didn't want to do. But it was shortly before COIE's reality-wide reboot, so it might not canonically exist anymore. Then again, Convergence undid the reality-wide reboot some years back. ... Have I mentioned DC continuity is an absolute mess? Anyway. If the sword doesn't count, I'd say Tenth Metal. Tenth Metal "can be manipulated by thought alone to achieve nearly anything". It was the Deus Ex Machina from Dark Knights: Metal where, after losing all of reality to an evil dark god, the league gets ahold of some and uses it as an "I win because I said I win" card. Shit's powerful, yo.

Flash is way too fast for Doomsday to hit but Flash's attacks would just bounce harmlessly off Doomsday, even if they are enhanced by his speed.

@@iamranndizzle3204 I always thought that Flash was fast, but didn't have tough bones, so he would break his wrist trying to punch Superman. Were there any times when he actually hurt him? Of course, he could by getting a red sun radiation gun, kryptonite, or some lead foil and glue to cover Superman's skin so he would gradually lose his powers, but these all take preparation and resources. I agree the mace attack should have worked way better, considering the mace was considered almost as strong as Superman.

Hal by himself isnt beating doomsday, but he is one of if not the strongest green lantern as his willpower is massive. In the source material his willpower makes him powerful enough to tango with beings far far far stronger than the average green lantern, and hes pulled off superman like feats as well(moving planets and what not). I understand he has to get nerfed in movies because everyone is nerfed, but at the very minimum dc could do a better job then restricting him to being a green punching bag who doesnt attack for shit except for 1 or 2 energy blasts and the occasional construct. O and 90 percent of his fights is just defense with a shield. You can create any object you know with a lantern ring, and the strength of those constructs increase with willpower. But hal of these movies show no creativity whatsoever. The GL are useless in animated movies. Its like if doctor strange only blasted energy and never used any of his other magic

@@M810antzman Well, it's also in how Hawkman hit him. It was a swooping dive, swinging the mace in an upward arc. That's bound to knock him off his feet. The sheer fact that, for a moment, Doomsday was legitimately dazed by Flash's strike says that hurt more than Hawkman's attempt.

A bit late but the death of Superman was made before flashpoint and the new 52. During this time, dc considered Superman the strongest member of the justice league until they realized the best way to have the other heroes comics sell was to have them beat Superman in a fight. I feel that’s why flash couldn’t do much, because this was before he got the speed we know him for today.

Honestly green lantern should have been able to handle this no problem. 2:30 could have launched him into space any number of ways. build a rocket around him. throw him up in the air and continuously boost him up with constructs too many and big for him to punch etc. and he certainly should have been able to get out from under the pounding. turn the bubble into a drill to drill through the ground. hell he could have stayed up in the air pounding the fuck out of DD from 1,000 feet up and be untouchable.
DC is definitely Superior in animated movies. Marvel of course is crowned in the live action scenario

I know they had to do it for story progression, but why didn't the full JLA attack instead of sending random members at a time. Together I really think they would have been able to stop Doomsday.

I think if superman's punch at the end of the movie broke doomsday's neck, then Hawkman's mace hit probably would've also broke his neck if he wasn't sent flying by the recoil. Superman or green lantern holding him in one place with that force to the head probably would've killed doomsday
