That moment you realize they could have a much superior DC Cinematic Universe if they were to take the Animated movie scripts, lengthen them for feature film, and make them live action.
Allow me to say why it wouldn't make a difference with the following 7 words: New 52 animated films from 2013 to 2016. The animated films outside a few exceptions were not good in the slightest in this era. The DC NEW 52 films took a long time to even get off their mediocre status. If they can do it. The DCEU can do it as well.

For some strange reason notorious comic book villains are suddenly given their own movies to... I don't know, make them more sympathetic? In these movies its always either the Justice League has been nerfed into the ground or the whole team is functioning on two braincells each. The problem with writing Justice League stories is they have to ignore a variety of assets at the various characters', particularly less well known characters' disposal. Hal for example never ever calls for backup from other Lanterns. Flash always forgets all of the phasing/time travel/distorting physics tricks that he does in his own books when its time to fight as a team. Some of our characters are leaders or champions of entire nations, or have weaponized laser beam sattelites in outer space, all of which don't come up because DC characters are *SO POWERFUL* that it is legitimately incredibly difficult to come up with a problem that at least one of them can't easily solve if you acknowledge everything they can do.
Exactly why I never liked D.C. they always blow well beyond the limits of the laws of physics with zero explanation as to why they can do it. Or they just OP the heros so much that their enemies are just unrelatable.
And when Robin and all titans were almost dying, batman never showed up and when justice league was being beaten to pulp, teen titans never showed up Unless they are in the title

A bunch of people here arguing that the Martian should've been able to beat Doomsday. The things is, Death of Superman was written back in the 90s. The story-arc which made Martian Manhunter into (supposedly) the most powerful Leaguer wasn't written until the 2000s. See, back when Death of Superman was first written, there was this understanding that Superman was the absolute most powerful of all of the Leaguers, like, more powerful than the rest of them combined. But, over the years, DC has realized that one of the simplest ways to boost the popularity of a hero is to just let them beat up Superman. Martian Manhunter was made into (supposedly) the most powerful Leaguer because it was the only way to get people to buy his books. You see, the Death of Superman as a story doesn't work in the New 52 era of DC because everyone and their mother was suddenly as powerful as Superman. The entire reason Death of Superman had any impact at all was because it was the Death of *Superman*, the indisputably most powerful of all the Leaguers. It made Superman's Death tragic and momentous, because it was a character whose presence was monumental, rather than just another superhero in a line-up.
But I mean, he isn't as fast or as strong as Supes, but his move set far exceeds anyone elses. Fire is his weakness though, anyone can conjure it up, which makes it hard to create any decent storyline.
Actually, the Manhunter has always been arguably as or more powerful than Superman, but I'm not sure of the chronology of his powers. Specifically, when did he get his telepathic powers? That ability alone would have been sufficient for him to defeat Superman (or Doomsday, actually)... but I'm not sure when he started using that power in the comics.
A quick search suggests he gained his telepathic abilities around 1956, but it's unclear what the exact nature of those powers were (ie. could he just read minds, or did he also have the ability to perform telepathic attacks?).

Yeah Hawkman legit launched Doomsday a good 100 feet into the air with a single swing of his club. Honestly if all the leaguers were on him at once, not all 1 at a time (the only time he has 2 people to fight at once was when aquaman was on his back and Martian was punching him), they probably could've took him down no issue.

A good way to have delt with doomsday would be to have Martian manhunter remain intangible and continously taunting doomsday while the most of the justice league formulate a plan of attack and solution. This would ultimately avoid casualties, prevent death or injury, plus they could come up with a plan to at the very least isolate doomsday

The animated films outside a few exceptions were not good in the slightest in this era. The DC NEW 52 films took a long time to even get off their mediocre status. If they can do it. The problem with writing Justice League stories is they have to ignore a variety of assets at the various characters', particularly less well known characters' disposal. Hal for example never ever calls for backup from other Lanterns. Flash always forgets all of the phasing/time travel/distorting physics tricks that he does in his own books when its time to fight as a team. Some of our characters are leaders or champions of entire nations, or have weaponized laser beam sattelites in outer space, all of which don't come up because DC characters are *SO POWERFUL* that it is legitimately incredibly difficult to come up with a problem that at least one of them can't easily solve if you acknowledge everything they can do.
Exactly why I never liked D.C. they always blow well beyond the limits of the laws of physics with zero explanation as to why they can do it. Or they just OP the heros so much that their enemies are just unrelatable.
And when Robin and all titans were almost dying, batman never showed up and when justice league was being beaten to pulp, teen titans never showed up

Yeah, though to be honest the amount of vanity the man has actually thinking he can do anything about Doomsday on his own is kind of absurd to be honest. I wouldn't mind so much if he used a Bat mech or any sort of protection but here he is nothing more than a glorified civilian.
A bunch of people here arguing that the Martian should've been able to beat Doomsday. The things is, Death of Superman was written back in the 90s. The story-arc which made Martian Manhunter into (supposedly) the most powerful Leaguer wasn't written until the 2000s. See, back when Death of Superman was first written, there was this understanding that Superman was the absolute most powerful of all of the Leaguers, like, more powerful than the rest of them combined. But, over the years, DC has realized that one of the simplest ways to boost the popularity of a hero is to just let them beat up Superman. Martian Manhunter was made into (supposedly) the most powerful Leaguer because it was the only way to get people to buy his books.
You see, the Death of Superman as a story doesn't work in the New 52 era of DC because everyone and their mother was suddenly as powerful as Superman. The entire reason Death of Superman had any impact at all was because it was the Death of *Superman*, the indisputably most powerful of all the Leaguers. It made Superman's Death tragic and momentous, because it was a character whose presence was monumental, rather than just another superhero in a line-up.

Actually, the Manhunter has always been arguably as or more powerful than Superman, but I'm not sure of the chronology of his powers. Specifically, when did he get his telepathic powers? That ability alone would have been sufficient for him to defeat Superman (or Doomsday, actually)... but I'm not sure when he started using that power in the comics.
A quick search suggests he gained his telepathic abilities around 1956, but it's unclear what the exact nature of those powers were (ie. could he just read minds, or did he also have the ability to perform telepathic attacks?).

Yeah Hawkman legit launched Doomsday a good 100 feet into the air with a single swing of his club. Honestly if all the leaguers were on him at once, not all 1 at a time (the only time he has 2 people to fight at once was when aquaman was on his back and Martian was punching him), they probably could've took him down no issue.
