      Until the Ck3 agot mod comes out I still play this haha.
      In my games the Sarnori always seem stable. Usually Khal Moro gets killed early and the Dothraki turn on each other pretty quick.
      Playing as the Dothraki is very hard because if you lose one battle or God forbid get captured you can lose everything. You have to be careful and make sure you don’t die unless your heir is a adult and skilled warrior otherwise your realm is gone.

    The Dothraki just don't know when to calm down. Slaughtering entire civilizations then changing the names of the ruins into offensive ones. Now with serving Dany, they either win and get to destroy Westeros or lose and end up like the people they've ruined, into small groups of people.

      wonderful civilisation?? The sarnori people destroyed the cultures of the original people in the region like the Gipps and the Qaathi.
      Also everything was about power, possession and dominion. They helped each other just in the worst cases.. selfish idiots..
      The Sarnori mocked the Dothraki.. Dothraki striked back.. justice wins always :)

      Ekhem... burning of great Sarnori library - not barbarity at all, right?
      Yeah, Sarnor was a great civilization, without a doubt much greater and superior to Dothraki, with sophisticated art, culture and literature. They destroyed and conquered like every civilization, not made genocide to everyone around them, that's a difference. And what if everything was about power and dominion?
      In the same time what culture does Dothraki possess? What art? None. They don't create, they only destroy.

      Like the Mongols did. They make their slaves build basic stuff, and once the gates are down or some Dothraki slipped through and opened them, they just go in and rape everyone.
      That or they taunt them into attacking in an open field, killing the garrison outside the city and taking over the undefended settlement.

      The Kingdom of Sarnor was actually quite well know for its fancy, white stonewalled Cities and Castles.

    • @2gt5
      @2gt5 7 років тому +6

      Simon Bourdin The Mongols did not have siege weapons for quite some time. It was only after the capture of siege weapons and engineers that they adopted the tactics you describe. You also make it sound like light cavalry are somehow lesser than heavy units which in itself is incredibly ignorant. I suggest you read up on early Mongolian siege tactics they are quite interesting. At least one siege involved forcing locals to pile themselves along a section of the city walls, forming a human ramp.

    • @MrMarinus18
      @MrMarinus18 6 років тому +4

      They were few in heavy infantry though. Heavy infantry requires vast concentration of resources and usually the Mongols were taking on nations were greater resources and populations. Meeting them infantry versus infantry wasn't going to go well for the Mongols. They likely did have light infantry though for siege work and skirmishes.
      Slaves did not make siege engines. After all you can't make a slave do a good job and making siege engines especially more advanced ones was a very difficult craft so they likely just hired local artisans to teach them and then learn how to make it.

      They are bully and they only seek to destroy because they think buildings and farm hurting their mother earth (maybe their goddess something like that), they bullied and razed civilization that are weaker than them, like they don't even have a guts to face Valyrian Freehold and Kingdom of Ifequevron when they still around

      Sarnor, Qaathia, Ifequeveron (colony of Ibben), and Essaria all got destroyed by the Dothraki. The descendents that survived are all angry that their nations and cities are gone. No wonder why these people (Sarnori, Qaathi, wood walkers, Essarians, and Ibbenese) hate the Dothraki so much.

      Also some connection to Reeds as their castle floats
      "The Fisher Queens ruled from a floating palace that made its way endlessly around its shores."
      "Kings and lords and wise men sought their floating palace for their counsel."
      Sought meaning it wasn't in one place
      Reeds: "It is a castle[6] built upon a crannog, one of the man-made floating islands of the swamps, and it does not stay in the same place, making it impossible for ravens or enemies to find."
      Plus First Men were wildlings of Essos they were running like Andals did from Valyrians reason for their insistance for getting Westeros...Children of the forest were easier target to fight than other more advanced civilizations that see them nothing more than barbarians they would have been treated like Westeros treats Wildlings mby even worse
