Mazda Miata MX-5 Close call captured on dashcam

- Recorded October 8th 2022 on the D6 road in Fuveau, France. Speed limit is 80 km/h I was driving at 72km/h according to my GPS log. The car is a Mazda MX-5 Miata NA from 1991 without ABS or airbags.
I didn't have the time to think, it was a instinct move and I think it was a good call. Braking here without ABS on a wet road would have been catastrophic, I think.
Thankfully, nobody was incoming or overtaking me.
I think the white minivan didn't see me because of the hedge between the road and the bike lane on the left.

One of the downsides of a small car
Nope. Van driver needed to check his left side twice before going especially on a road that curves and limits visibility. If it was any other car the same thing prob woulda happened cause the van driver was negligent.
Road was designed with bad visibility. There is no way for the van driver to creep without sticking nose in the road.
What if it was a cyclist?
