  • In this video we make a trip to a local wood sawyer and pick up some majestic cedar. Then we mill it up into the top and bottom skins and glue them to the completed frame. I also use the Shaper Origin and Shaper Trace to make a one of a kind hand-drawn epoxy inlay. If you are building a wooden stand up paddle board, I think it's worth considering using the method I tried out here.
visit www.jarvisboards.com to learn more about the kits, and constructing your very own wood SUP!
and while you're at it, pick up your supplies at www.totalboat.com and tell them Keith sent you.

Thank you so much!! Between the thixo, the high performance epoxy and the gleam varnish, Totalboat will keep this boat afloat!

Your build came across my Threads feed and I just watched it all. Now I want to build one. Would be a great first step before tackling a boat. Nice work. You also sold me on the Shaper.

Awesome!! You really should build one!Tell Jarvis Boards I sent you! And the shaper really is so handy around the shop, that I don’t know what I’d do without it.

Wow, it's refreshing to see a paddle board project! With wooden boats and canoes dominating, this is a unique and intriguing build. As a former woodworker who's enjoyed paddle boarding, one time, lol, I'm inspired by this video. Building one myself never crossed my mind until now. Thinking of tackling this project when I retire in 5 years! Quick question: what was the final thickness for the top and bottom?"
