THE BEST PAUPER COMBO! If you're unfamiliar with Cycle Storm, it's a deck that uses cycling creatures early to draw through your deck to find a Songs of the Damned and then cast some spells into a large Reaping the Graves! At this point, you cycle all of those creatures again and again. Repeat this process until your Songs of the Damned make a bunch of mana.
Now, you can cast Drannith Stingers! At this point, cycle more cards and win the game (even with creature removal on the stack!).
In today's video, we're playing Deadly Dispute from Dungeons & Dragons: Adventures in the Forgotten Realms (MTG AFR) as a card that provides both speed and consistency! The most important factor of this card is that it also color-fixes for us that we don't need to play Blood Celebrant.

i want to play this deck in paper ITS SO COOL but the micro management feels difficult for a relative amateur. love seeing the pauper content!

I added a ton of really played (and therefore cheap) copies of Reaping the Graves to my Deckbox in different colored sleeves. That way, you can recreate the storm stacks and assign each copy to a creature in the GY. In tournaments, that might not be allowed because of illegal cards in your deckbox, however. But I see it as training wheels for starting in paper :-)

Theoretical question, if you were to (for some reason) play Cycle Storm in Legacy is there a single card you'd actually replace with an uncommon/rare? The only one I can think of is Ardent -> Snapcaster but even then you sometimes want to play Ardent on the same spell multiple times right.

Doing math, In the game that we lost cause of weather. Couldn't we just let it resolve, then since they are rap, we go play 3 stingers, and be able to bring back songs with the red creature, and eventually do even more dmg than the healing of weather?
I dont believe songs makes enough mana for that to be true
I saw someone doing well on Mtggoldfish using your older U/B version with Blood Celebrant. What's your mindset going forward when tweaking lists and seeing other people doing well with older versions?

not sure why today's video has a bit of white noise that the noise gate isnt catching but maybe if you encounter this issue again u can just record and capture the white noise profile and use audacity's noise reduction to cancel it out

Love this deck. Banning Glitters and NSG slows down the format just enough for more combo decks to thrive.

With the addition of 4 side siege smash, cyclo storm will become much more solid. Already i see me people smashing at random exile cemetery for fear that you close the game from nowhere 😁😂
