Hello Bryant, Nice content, congrats. If I'm not wrong you could have won the last game. When he was full tapped with 7 life, you could just let the pestillence resolves, making him down to 6 life. Your second drannith on the stack resolves . With 3B you just cast Reaping the Graves taking a lot of cyclers, with your untapped swamp + 2 petals in your hand you could cycle 3x gaving him exactly six damage.
Normaly the part i most like is the part everyone hates, the storming off love to see strom play not Boring at all. When things go back to normal i really what to test your version on my LGS.
Loved another cycling video Bryant, thank you (: I was wondering if you had given any thought to running Striped Riverwinder to represent a stronger reanimation threat alongside something like rush of knowledge (up to four Vantasaur for the cmc)? It seems like it could shore up some of the moments where you otherwise couldn't rely on your cast or reanimated creature getting there.
I've thought about it quite a bit! Honestly, the issue is Cycle Storm doesn't make blue mana very well unlike the other deck (Tour De Fish) that does something similar.
@@TheEPICStorm I have found the same issue. The closest I have gotten to solving that was 2x blood celebrant, and adjusting the mana base towards the esper sac land. It makes those issues melt away, albeit at the expense of two precious deck slots.
@@TheEPICStorm well now that you noticed my comment i will add more than the generic response to improve the videos visibility: I am by no means a pauper storm expert so i wont even attempt to comment on it. In general however i am big fan of you taking a deck and sticking with it. It really makes the content enjoyable since the commentary is more in depth. Also the fact that you more rarely than others blame "the shuffler" for your losses ( which, truth be told, i am prone to doing myself)
@@todeshorst1697 I mean, as we saw in R5 the losses can usually be found in some sort of error and some games you just can't win. Every win needs to be earned is a good way of looking at things in my opinion :D
should i start to buy into your list of modern gifts storm or keep upgrading my grixis shadow deck? love both, dont know what to choose... if i start buying into storm, will be using basics with shivan reef for the manabase and steam-kin for birgi and more gelectromancer for baral.
I am curious if there is a reason to run the rot beast over Architects of Will? They cycle for black or blue, thus making those awkward situations easier to deal with.
I mean, to each their own. You can literally never cast Ventasaur in the face of graveyard hate. Meaning it can only ever be exhumed, which also is hurt by graveyard hate. I don't have strong opinions on the matter, but I think it's better to stay open-minded.
by far my favorite package to watch so far. the addition of a tutor makes this deck (seemingly) able to come out clutch during possible fizzels

Cool changes, but it felt like there were quite a few games where you just lost to not having any cyclers available and a hand full of mana.
That's been an issue even previously but there are also games where you never found Reaping the Graves previously and lost as well.
If Bitter Ordeal were a common, would it be good in this deck?
Probably not? But it would make a new storm deck that probably uses things like Tinder Wall or Wild Cantor.

Can't answer that for you. I enjoy storming but it depends on what you want to do.
