I was seriously an adult in the wrong era
I wish you had grown up in my era. It was such a fantastic time to live in. I was about to go into high school when "Love's Holiday" and "After the Love" came out. Maurice White was the founder and lead singer at the time. He and Philip Bailey's voices blended beautifully together. Philip, with his four octave vocal range, and Maurice with the velvety voice and direction of the group's future. I miss Mr. White so much. He was a huge force behind EW&F and other groups. What a talented man. You should have seen the original group in the early 80's. What an amazing show! Luckily, you can still hear them today and listen to recordings of their early music. I would suggest listening to this band on a record. This is how any group should be played. It's how they truly sound.

I hate to be critical but this lead singer Rush this song. That's why there's only one Maurice White.
They was bad back in the 80s . . . but 75% of the group is gone . . . and to me, it just ain't the same 🌎, 🌬& 🔥!
