My iFixit kit came with a 1/4" to 4mm adapter, but the spring fell out rendering it useless. Funnily enough, bought the exact same bit and it works a wonder
I would love to find a company who makes a 3.5mm bit adapter to go to 1/4hex screwdrivers both in the 1 inch length and a 3 inch length. It seems both Klein and Milwaukee have adopted the 3.5mm bit size but everyone else wiha, ifixit etc have adopted the 4mm bit size
I have a few of the older iFixit kits and they both have one of those adapters in them. I wonder why they dropped it in the later kits :( It is a super useful adapter!
It also looks like the kit that you have on the right (Mako Kit) lists an adapter in the description. It looks like it may be the top right one but it looks different than the Wiha one you picked up. The Wiha one is how they used to look in the older kits but I guess they changed it for some reason. It looks like the newer adapter might also hold a different style of bits used in small screwdrivers called HIOS 4mm in addition to the 4mm hex drive.
my worry is using a magnetic holder in a magnetic holder and the polarities do not match then the magnets are fighting each other Wiha also makes a non-magnetic holder but it is a bit bigger, that is the one I'm looking at looking at using it with my 711L Lollypop Driver I've always had doubts about my Wiha System 4 drivers that are all plastic I have yet to have one fail but...
@@lastbesttoolThanks but I'm in Sweden. It's not available on Swedish Amazon. I thought maybe if I get an Arrowmax electric screwdriver, I will need it since I have japanese bits in 1/4. I like your videos by the way. I took your advice and got the Hazet bit driver. It is amazing with japanese bits. I love japanese bits.
Doc like to do the same, but can't find an adapter for the klein 39 bit set. I saw on a review that the Klein bits are 2.7mm. Do you have any adapter that works? thanks Ken
My iFixit kit comes with a 1/4" to 4mm adapter - it's odd they've dropped it in the newer kits. Nice selection of drivers!

Thanks for show the bit
I need the reverse (microbit screwdriver/shank to 1/4” bits) and can’t seem to find one.
Me, too. They don't seem to exist.
Let me know if you find one.. also looking!

@Al Sweet! It doesn't give much of a picture on their website so I was taking a bit of a leap :)
Nice! I'll have to try one! Thanks.
That blankspot in my Wera tool check plus socket rail.
Just got a new socket....micro adapter.
What a great idea

Hello there. Do you know if there is an opposite of this? I mean 4 mm to 1/4, instead of the other way around.

I've had this adapter in my cart on kc tool for about week
How many times did you use it in that week

I think they are 3.5mm....as far as I know only Klein uses that size so I would check their website (I doubt they make one though)
If this is not part of bit set you will lose it very soon. Also microbits do not tolerate such poor connetion with bit holder looks to me like patch
so it does the same thing any 4mm socket can do with any 1/4 adpter..
