  • After graduating from college with honors and a dual Bachelors degree in economics and psychology, Jacob was excited to join the corporate world. He had dreams of one day becoming the CMO of a large organization. At his first job out of college he was promised that he would be working on amazing projects and traveling the country meeting with executives and entrepreneurs. Instead, he was stuck doing data entry, cold calling, and power point presentations. One day the CEO of the company asked Jacob to go buy him a cup of coffee, that was that last job he ever had. Since then he has been passionate about the future of work and designing great employee experiences.
Today, Jacob is a best-selling author, speaker, and futurist who explores how the world of work is changing. Over the past decade he has learned how to navigate the changing world of work. In this talk he shares three counter intuitive strategies for how anyone can future proof their career regardless if they are a full-time employee or an entrepreneur. His ideas on the future of work has earned him audiences with senior executives around the world and his work has been endorsed by the President of Mexico and the CEO's of T-Mobile, SAP, Cisco, Nestle, Best Buy, Schneider Electric, KPMG, and many others. Jacob Morgan is a three time best-selling author, keynote speaker, and futurist who explores the future of work and employee experience. He will give us a ‘tour de force’ into how we can navigate a world of work where job security doesn't exist. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

A simple speech without innovations, but make me reflect my self and convictions. Thanks, Jacob!

I’m a big fan of Dorie’s work and have almost all her books, yet I think for this sort of topic, Christina Wallace develops a bit better in her book portfolio life

The talk was great but whispering at the backstage mic isn't cool.
