Best thing Mickey can do is surround himself with talent. Reminds me of Olatunji jams from 80s, with Santana and Garcia, and with his own ensembles opening for dead.
That must have been really amazing. I have a friend that was in that band and he told me that they only played two or three times. I would have been cool to see Jerry play with them.
This should be the musical highlight of the weekend if you 〰️

That was a sick jam. The Petaluma show in '87. Good stuff.
I have a friend that played with Olatunji for thirty years and has told me some great stories about those shows.

Many years ago I went to hear his band 'Dig-a- Rhythm" .. These guys still got it..
That must have been really amazing. I have a friend that was in that band and he told me that they only played two or three times. I would have been cool to see Jerry play with them.
I watched Mickey's Documentary on Rhythm and Sports on ESPN. He said they never had a practice this was an improvisation. 😊
Nice work! Looks like a great time.

Don't threaten me with a good time. Once again Grunzy you are near the edge of too much fun. Happy New Years to you and Michelle.
