Should have zoomed in when showing the disassembly. We don't need to see the guys face. We just need to see the gun up close.

No kidding, I took mine apart today and it fell apart. Trying to find out WTF happened, appears ruger shipped my LCRx with a pin missing. Cylinder latch fell right out the second I took the frame apart.

Big kudos to Ruger for putting this out. Unfortunately with no close up or overhead view I can't imagine anyone being able to actually work from this.

      Exactly what I thought, too.

Another reason I traded mine in for an old SP101. LCR is a nightmare to keep clean of years of pocket lint and residue. SP101 for the Win.

I just got one of these in the LCRX configuration. He isn't kidding about that cylinder latch spring! Mine got slightly warped on me but was able to fit it over some super fine point tweezers and compressed it back into shape. Finally got everything back together and it seems to function great!

Kind of reminds me of the first day on the job and how your co-workers have to show you how to do the work but leave you clueless about important details because they don't want you taking their job.

This is a very complicated disassemble process. I saw a lot of hand movement, but I didn't see much detail on the actual disassembly process. We could do without seeing the animal head, trophy and multiple guns in the case behind him and more close ups of the actual disassembly process.

Close up view would be better than using ones imagination. I love Ruger products.

I was thinking of buying an LCR because I’m old and lack the hand strength needed to rack a slide. Thank you for talking me out of it.

I like the video just wish they would have zoom in closer to the disassembly process.

What is the reason to make a gun this complicated and prone to breakage? Think I will stay with the speed 6's,, o sp101.

I am unable to dissasemble the cylinder assembly. In a cw rotation the ejector rod will not loosen. I have tried pliers, vise grips, small vice, and even heat. It will simply not unscrew. The factory must have applied a massive amount thread lock.

Is the LCR 22 Cylinder secured onto the crane arm via detent?

    Need closer view of disassembly/reassembly.

These LCR videos are good, but you REALLY need to have some close up video of the parts and the procedures of what you are doing (ie: Disassembly, assembly, and cleaning) to make these videos very good and effective. What good are the videos if really can't see or understand what you are being shown?

I've got an old ruger SA 22mag/22lr bicentennial model revolver. The hammer doesn't cock back when the gun is fully assembled, but when i take out the cylinder the trigger pulls back and fire just fine. What might problem be ?

Hi, I have the LCR in 22wmr. I have a problem with spent casings getting stuck. They're wedged in there good. Any ideas on how to prevent that? Thanks

Thanks for attempting to demonstrate this but 360p is not nearly enough resolution for a video with small parts and subtle maneuvers. A lot of what you are demonstrating is practically invisible at this resolution.

Don't help that you're 5 light years away from the camera I can't see anything you're doing.

This video is poor at best. I have a suggestion. Make a short, easy to understand RUGER RECOMMENDED DISASSEMBLY, RUGER RECOMMENDED CLEANING, and RE-ASSEMBLY video with close up and/or overhead views. Why does this have to be complicated?

I'm glad I watched this video. I was just about to buy one of these. Sorry , no sale. I'll get something else. They are overpriced and too complicated to take apart.

Sorry Ruger, but your video here is terrible. Compare this to others producd on UA-cam 👍🤠🤡
