When I was younger I always thought wearing throwback jerseys meant that team was automatically going to win 😂 like it gave them extra motivation or something
I don't think it gives the Steelers motivation. You ever see their throwback jerseys? THEY LOOK LIKE BEEEEES!
@Loco Bandito Meanwhile, the Green Bay throwbacks look badass. I never knew why their fight song mentioned "blue and gold" until I saw the old jerseys.
Even the refs were wearing throwback AFL jerseys!
How does that make any sense if both teams are wearing throwback jerseys?
@@zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz I thought the same thing! It gets even more confusing because the referees are wearing throwbacks. 🤔
Brady easily could’ve thrown 8 touchdowns if they let him in
But who really cares when he could only throw 1 touchdown in 2020 playoffs and the one he threw went to the titans??
@@lgrw9883 You guys really beat the patriots and ravens away to blow a 10-point lead in the afc champ to the chiefs, congratulations to your 0 Super Bowl franchise.
@@tomrocks1999 atleast Titans all time greatest qb has never been suspended... : )
@@laitisvi1750 at least patriots all time greatest qb won sb 6 times and sb mvp 4 times and 3 mvps
@@laitisvi1750 That was one of the lamest clapbacks I've ever read lmao
What's underrated about brady that needs to get brought up more in goat talks is his ability to play in bad weather
New England and its rivals almost always has bad weather though... But you are right though. Many qbs can't do that.
Also the 4 games suspension should be brought up more often.
yeah, he never looked afflicted by the elements in all those games in NE or in places like Pittsburgh. He must have big hands or something, but he always has good footwork too so that could be a part of it too.
@@laitisvi1750 Oh you mean for the stupid fucking scandal that was disproven by SCIENCE? You know the thing that helped us determine that the earth is 4.5 billion years old and not only 6 to 10,000 years old? You gotta be kidding. You really can't be that fucking stupid right?
@@brettchilds6490 have you even read anything about the suspension..? He was suspended for not working with league officials to solve the case ASAP. The final statement is about "breaking league rules and violating the integrity of the game". THAT suspension, look it up, would you?
158.3 rating for Brady and a 0.0 rating for Collins.... wow. Also, I remember Collins seeming ancient when he was in his late thirties but now Brady is still playing 😂
Collins had a lot more shots racked up over his career and it shows, and I mean both QB hits and vodka shots
I love weather games. I get why people don’t but I absolutely love them.
Rain I can do without. Snow? Automatic *EPIC FOOTBALL.*
I love playing in the snow on madden!
Playing in the snow in real life for football can be fun if you can actually stay warm
Sniper47 -2003 it was never cold enough in high school the best we had were mud bowls by the end it was difficult to tell who was on your team
General Raam I’m right with you, I live in another attic wasteland in Green Bay.
The Titans went to 0-6 after this game. Insert: Vince Young and the Titans became the first team to start 0-6 and not end the season with a losing record (8-8). Barely missing the playoffs. Chris Johnson also broke 2k yards and the total yards record that year. But....we got blown out 59-0 as well 😂
Sometimes we need loses like this for changes TITANS UP!!
Because Jeff Fisher held the team back
Wait what
The Titans are the definition of 8-8 lol
Nvm..he edited the comment.
Imagine if they hadn’t sat Brady, he could’ve thrown for 700 yards and 8 or 9 TD’s
The same could be said for Nick Foles game against the Raiders in 2013. Threw his 7th with like 13 left in the 4th quarter.
The Snow Day Massacre. The biggest blow out in Tom Brady's career
This game really was the worst blowout ever. It could have easily been the largest blowout in league history if Belichick didn't pull all the starters midway through the 3rd quarter. Brady could have _easily_ reached 7, 8 or even 9 TDs in this game if he wanted to. Yet Belichick pulled him early and all we get is the record for TDs in a quarter. What a shame.

Yessssss!!! I’ve been waiting for this. I live in Rhode Island so it was snowing during this game. I remember watching this game and I thought it was madden on rookie. One of my favorite snow games ever. Hopefully the NFL changes the helmet rule so teams can wear their throwbacks on Thursday night football and call it throwback Thursday.
I’m still waiting on that so that my Eagles can bring back their kelly greens
I like that. Throwback Thursday. You my friend have great insight
I hope Patriots TRASH their 2020 uniform. Looked like, and played like, a Pop Warner team.
I do this on All Madden
The craziest part is that this wasn't even a particularly good Pats team by their standards. They didn't get a bye and got blown out in the Wild Card round by Baltimore.
09 Patriots was such a weird team. One week they drop 50+ then the next 9 points.
@@Shatamx For real. Remember the Saints game that year? Absolutely the most inconsistent year in the BB/TB12 era.
That 2009 team was a watershed moment in extending the dynasty! Throughout that season they were inconsistent on offense , with virtually no running game and a poor, ( by Patriots standards ), defense. That same season Bellichick
was featured on a Football lLife and said it best: If Moss was stopped deep or Welker underneath you stopped the Pats. The 2010 draft featured drafting Gronkowski in the 2nd round and Hernandez in the 3rd round, ( great player pre murderer). This gave them a running game and a way for Brady to dominate the middle of the field. They also drafted McCourtey in the first round which began their defensive resurgence. This allowed the team of the 2000s to become the team of the 2010s!
When you look at the final stat sheet, Colins thew more interceptions than passing yards. That's next level blowout
I remember this day.... It was raining that morning and then the snow started around game time. Best Pat's game ever ❤️😍
I mean one of their 6 super bowl wins is probably better than a mid season game
@@seanstewartmervin8220 as a patriot fan I strongly agree obviously, not to mention 20 years worth of other amazing moments and games...but idk I find myself looking up the highlights to this game a few times a year, for me personally it's definitely in my top 20 patriot moments of all time
Who is here after Brady destroyed the Chiefs in the Superbowl?
I'm just here so I wont get fined... 😎
No but I loved every second of that. I'm a bills fan so I'm not a huge fan of Brady but he's definitely a good qb.
Brady the goat

Featuring two of the best uniforms in NFL history
They should do more of these AFL games every once in a while
0:52 Would have been 62-0 if that was good. We don't see 60 points often in this league. We do in college all the time
Oh my, then they'd have to have Brady come on the field, tie the record with a seventh, then kick the PAT.
The Oilers have given up 61 twice against the Bengals 61-17 in 1972 and 61-7 in 1989. This was just 59
This game should be instead of “The Worst Blowout in NFL History” should be changed to The BEST Blowout in NFL History because this is an instant New England Patriots classic.
Yessir
The Pats were loaded during these years, but the Gods simply weren't with them until 2014.
Look at Jim Fisher in that thumbnail saying "Why they had to put this on UA-cam?" 😂😂
JEFF
Putting up 345 passing yards in the first half alone is really impressive.
I love how both teams did retro, I miss these days, but I was deploying to Iraq the first time around this time, and tv wasn't exactly a thing for us, but I'm glad to see at least a little footage!
Thank you for your service sir!!
This is the biggest blowout of the super bowl era. Not NFL history though. That belongs to the Bears when they beat the Redskins 73-0 in the 1940 NFL Championship Game.
13:46 so close to a scoregami 😭
Jim Nantz and Phil Simms were probably doing crossword puzzles in the second half up in the booth.
Is this a shout-out to SB Nation's video on this game?
If the Titans didn't start Vince Young after this game Jeff Fisher would've been fired after this season and he should've been but the question still is: How did the Titans go 13-3 the year before?
One word: CJ2K
@@bootitup6927 and Kerry Collins having a fluke Pro Bowl season.
Albert Haynesworth was a franchise player face it. He proppeled an otherwise no name defense (Kearse was declining ) They let him walk we couldn't get a pass rush 🤷😣
This Titans team wasnt even that bad... I was shocked that they started 0-6. I wanted them to make the playoffs so bad but I think they finished 8-8.
@@JCP405 Only to shit the bed in the playoffs with a throwback performance against the ravens
Crowd has been in the snow for 3+ hours still very loud late in the 4th. Impressive.
I miss Brady already 😭.
Let's go Patriots
Sticking with the Patriots even though Brady left? I haven't seen much of that. Much respect.
I think you'll be more or less okay. After all, you have THE NEFARIOUS DOCTOR FOOTBALL (once known as Bill Belichick before Spygate drove him mad). He'll figure out something to keep you all competitive.
I find it quite that, now that he is on a different team, people seem to have forgotten his not-so-good season last year. It's almost as if all those articles about him FINALLY being done were never written.
We're going to be fine. The only fans left on the patriots now are the none bandwagons, the ones that actually care about the patriots. I think we identified some key needs in the draft. I highly doubt we'll have much of a chance THIS year, but watch out for us the year after. Things can happen.
@@Luke-ii6kv yes there's a possibility that you guys draft Trevor Lawrence

I bet you miss him even more now.
Chris Johnson still had 100 yards it was just that kinda season for cj2k
I would’ve loved to see this game live. This game and Super Bowl 51 are the two games I would’ve loved to attended.
Does anybody else love these throwback games because you can look at the stats at the bottom of the screen and reminisce about past players and teams. I mean, don't get me wrong, this was one of the funniest games to watch in Patriots history, but I love remembering how Dwayne Nose used to be KCs number 1 receiver. Or how Mohammed Massoqui used to be in the NFL. Also that Derek Burgess and Brandon Meriwether used to play for NE. Shout out to Maroney for that big run, that really got NE going.
I will never forget this game. I was on leave from Iraq so it was one of the only games all season that I got to watch at a decent time. Was at a bar in Denver watching this massacre.
What a completely useless war. I hated that b.s. nonsense more than anything. I mean thanks? But it was really a waste of time and a ridiculous amount of money. Sorry.

Love those throwback Oilers helmets!
Love both the Pats and Titans jerseys in this one. I remember driving back home to Rhode Island from New Hampshire in this snow to watch the game. Crazy memory.
Tom Brady might very well be one of the greatest winter QBs in NFL history
That fact needs to get brought up more in his goat argument... very underrated attribute
I mean...he's probably the best quarterback ever, so I thought that went without saying.
(Baltimore bias all over the place, but I think Johnny Unitas was the best QB in a time when defenders would throw the quarterback into the stands like a shot-put and the officials would measure the distances and give out medals at the end of the game. Brady wouldn't survive that...but modern-era-wise, yeah, he's the man.)

1940 Bears: Am I a joke to you?
the bears are a joke! xD
@@ArgentineFootballfan1978 still a joke of a franchise lmfao
Pats be playing on rookie mode in Madden, I am playing Madden while playing this right now. Best sacrifice I've ever made :)
Those Pats jerseys are amazing!
5 TD passes in one quarter....
Brady and the Pats could've scored 70+ points. Nothing better than winter weather in Foxborough.
Maybe the SECOND Worst blowout in NFL history. There was the 1940 NFL Championship Game where the Chicago Bears beat the Washington Redskins 73-0. At the time, there was no net behind the goal posts, and the Bears had to stop kicking the PAT because they were running out of footballs.
This was an Amazing Game. Brady Tha G.O.A.T. Thank You NFL Throwback😊
Both the Pats and Titans uniforms are pretty awesome.
Decade later Titans ended Patriots Dynasty THE END.
But I'll take this blowout and winning the 6 SBs over that 😏 least the Pats can do for them
Lol the same Titan team that blew a lead in the AFC championship game. Hey good job beating Tom Brady with a D3 offense.
The Patriots were up 38-0 and called time outs before half to get another TD. The record for TDs in a game is 7 and Brady had 5 in a quarter.
I remember this game like it was yesterday!
They should've left Tom in and just let him smash the single game record book
I love throwback uniforms. I wish all teams could wear them for a whole season.
The color of their uniforms were probably a huge factor for this loss-aside from the cold weather and the home field advantage. Imagine being the QB for the Titans, having to throw a ball to your receiver, who are wearing a white jersey with a hint of blue, in a blizzard and the field covered with a blanket of snow. Even with a good eye sight and the ability to throw in the cold, that is a challenge in it for itself.
Only mid october snow game we will ever see! Etched in my memories forever! Brady, the law firm ellis, faulk, marohney, welker, brandon merriweather, a young fresh julian edelman, Randy Moss! Man this was definetly the team of the century! My favorite game of all time! The nostalgia is real! Patsnation-4Life!!!!
4:00 that was a clean ass flea flicker
Real story: I remember watching this game. I went to work the next day with such a hang over. A friend of mine was drinking bud light, he came out as gay later that week. He quit drinking that winter. He's now happily married with 2 kids....🤔
*sigh*
No I don’t want to see it buuuuutt, I’m still gonna watch it 🙃
Games with names brought me here 💯💯💯
That lost hurt so bad I held a grudge against the Brady bunch for 10years. Felt really good getting a pick 6 for the win the last time he’ll ever wear a patriots jersey. Bitter sweet with this Buc title now
Both teams throwbacks are special
Always loved those Oiler uniforms. Especially those helmets. Not really sure why.
Just rewatched this. Ah the glory days. With current state of Patriot's team, I might be watching more and more of these "golden years" vids.
There weren't too many bright spots from them that year, but I enjoyed the Patriots' dominant win over the Titans. One classmate, a Titans fan, was all over me regarding the Patriots at the time (ripped on them with some friends of ours the year before) and this was the ultimate revenge and the greatest humbling. This game was one of the feathers in my cap for my senior year of high school.
I was able to record most of the game until CBS pulled it when it was 52-0 in favor of a game that was more competitive. If it weren't for the dogs getting called off, they would've scored 60. Maybe even 70.
Of course Tom Lady’s best game comes when his opponents have a major disadvantage. Never wipes anyone that hard in decent weather
Titans wearing Oiler uniforms is cool and all but i cant help but call them the Oilers when they do so.
Not a fan of either team but appreciate the uniform matchup. Nfl needs to bring back the throwbacks.
Bro they really did a flea-flicker in the snow 😭
2009: Pat's blowout the Titans
59-0
2020: Titans crush the pats hopes and dreams
In a wild card lol who cares
Can’t skip 2018 when we beat them in the playoffs
*The Patriots went RetroBowl on the Titans😮*
And the Patriots first drive ended with a sack and a missed FG. Also scored 0 points in the 4th. Only went on to win 59-0 😂
Something you don’t appreciate till it’s gone…. Brady just was so smoothe… made it look so easy. Even with mahomes/Rogers/Herbert/Lamar Jackson…. they all run around and wait until someone gets open… Brady was just so smooth and knew where to go pre-snap he didn’t have to run around like a madman in order to wait for someone to get open… Great football IQ that’s what made him great plus the clutch factor of course.
Oh God.... not this game 🤣
#TITANUP
The Titans deserved it for wearing those uniforms. A team that wears those uniforms after they moved out of a city because their greedy owner wasn't appeased doesn't deserve to get away with that
Damn Belichick for taking his foot off the gas. They easily could have scored 75 if Brady had stayed in the game.
Kudos to Brady for not accidentally throwing the ball to a ref
These are the best uniforms the Patriots have ever had. They should switch to them permanently.

Right off the bat, not the worst blow out in history. First was the 36 Bears 70 to 0 in the Championship Game. But this game was the worst for a season game. Untill somebody beat Denver 70 to 10. That's a 60 point deficit. Wow, Denver sucked that day. But in this game, every time Tennessee got their hands on the ball, they gave it up. Plus white uniforms in that thick snow. I remember this game very well. Moss didn't have a touchdown untill this game. He was getting upset about that in the press. He was gone not to long after this. Robbed Minnesota for a 3rd round pick. They traded Moss 2 weeks later for a 5th rounder. Tennessee took him, and in 2 more weeks, he was cut. Divaitis.
10 times better than the actual nfl channel.
Daniel N. Yep
Agreed
Would've been 62-0 if not for that missed FG in the 1st quarter.
Much as I love the Patriots, the biggest blowout in NFL history was the Chicago Bears beating the Washington Redskins 73 - 0 in the 1940 NFL Championship game.
Pretty sure there's not even footage for that game.
