That's why the Patriots always put in the backups and just went for fourth downs when the score was out of hand instead of field goals, like the 59 to 0 titans game in 2009. Just keep running plays and burning clock until you either score or turn it over on downs. You're not purposefully running up the score, you're running out of space to kill clock, though scoring is a bonus. If they kneeled on 4th down in this situation the clock would stop anyway, are the Cowboys then going to just return the favor and kneel and give up, or are they going to take a deep shot down 14 to see if they can't get a miracle deep ball touchdown then go for an onside kick and then a hail mary for the tie? Extremely unlikely but it's not a 0% chance. The game was still basically over so it's not worth kicking the field goal to make it a three score game and having people complain you run up the score, but it's worth not just kneeling it and running no more clock and giving the ball over to them to try chucking one deep. If you're not going to kick the field goal and run up the score may as well just have the backup fullback (yes, backup fullback/last man out of six on the RB/FB depth chart) run it to take off a couple more seconds back them up even closer to their own end zone and potentially just score and fully put the game away. Right Romo never played a part in losing these games LoL according to the Romo lovers it's everyone else's fault. What a Joke. Defense scored 7 points Romo and the high powered offense put up 2 TDS and 2 fgs lol a familiar storyline in big games Not to mention the int To Seau with 4 minutes LoL what games do you blind Fan's watch seriously
@@scottross4374 Romo Still threw a game ending int
I remember this like it was yesterday. This season broke my heart. I'm glad the Pats have won 3 more Super Bowls since but I wanted Randy Moss and Junior Seau to get a ring.
Still shocked
Somewhere out there... Drew Bledsoe was crying his eyes out watching this game.
He was beaten out of his job by both of these backups LOL
He was also replaced by JP "I Sck " Losman in Buffalo
LOL
Pobre buey
Give him a lally-pop
Put some respect on Drew Bledsoe name, boy. Y’all never saw him play. A gunslinger. Tom, J.P, Tony would all say he’s the real deal. Had he beat the Packers. Drew would be a Hall Of Famer already. He is one by the way...
2007 Patriots vs today Chiefs would've been a game for the century
Just wait until you see the Brady led Tampa team dismantle this same Chiefs team in superbowl next year. I'm talking to you from the future haha...
Yeah 48-9
I still remember this game like it was yesterday. I was 13 years old watching this at the mall, when my local mall used to have TV’s on the lower level floor. Good times
Not running the clock out with 19 seconds in insane. New England really took no prisoners this year
It was this game(dal vs pats) and the game against Baltimore(Rex Ryan time-out) and the game against the Colts….
These 3 games during the 07’ season were just great🎯💯🏈
This was supposed to be the Super Bowl that year
Cowboys fans think that every year lmfao
And they would have been blown out lmao
Thank you giants
Brady would 8 rings then im certain
Giants said, no way
I was at this game 50 yard line 2nd row. Best money I ever spent. Great memories. The game went back and forth people want to see madden style plays on every down but real games keep you on edge. Every yard counts. Congrats to cowboys for keeping the pace. Go Patriots, Brady come back and retire with your team when you're ready.
R.i.p marion Barbar gone but not forgotten 🏈💯🖤
9:55 Low-key Top 10 Brady throw ever. And it was incomplete, barely
Edit: NFL Throwback didn't show Brady's 6th TD pass, another one to Moss, but it was called back cuz of a lame PI.
Tazer183 and catch too by Moss
INSANE catch and body control
Bitch that was all Moss are you fucking blind?
hilltop you dumb fuck don’t you see Brady threw it perfectly too. Right amount of air time and placement so the db doesn’t deflect it.
TJ TX06 yeah that spot was the only spot to put it, amazing throw but good catch too
Forgot how much zip Brady used to have on his passes.
Marion Barber was like a slightly watered down Marshawn Lynch
From a ratings perspective this coulda been the biggest SuperBowl of all time. Patriots with Moss vs Cowboys with TO? I remember that year I thought that was gonna be the matchup
Hell yeah
So many legends on this field. Vince wilfork, TO, Randy Moss, Brady, Jason Witten, Welker, Junior Seau, Rodney Harrison, Andre Gurode, Romo, Demarcus Ware, Roy Williams, Richard Seymour, Asante Samuel, Logan Mankins, Flozell Adams. All of those guys are arguably hall of famers and three of them are already in. It’s crazy to think about
I remember this game. Tom Brady needed to win this game to tie Roger Stauback for fastest quarterback to reach 100 wins in a career. The funny thing was that Stauback was at the game too just to see what would happen. Fun times for me remembering the mega greatness that is Tom Brady.
This is the greatest team of all time. Poetry in motion. Most beautiful offense I’ve seen.
Can’t believe they didn’t win the SB
Brady has the most underrated arm in NFL history.
The fact the Patriots went in the road and beat the last two remaining undefeated teams
Brady and Witten still on the field 12 year's later!
So are Ben Watson, Nick Folk, and when he gets healthy, Gotskowski.
@@beantowner76 nice 👍👌
I think you spoke to soon
@@exterminator20th36 I don't think so buddy!
Now Brady is a Buccaneer QB an Witten now a TE for Oakland
Chris Longley Tx but one of the has six championship 😂
Could you imagine if it was the patriots vs the cowboys at the superbowl.
The super bowl will have determined who is truly America's team
That’s not true the most hyped regular season game ever was a few weeks after this Patriots vs Colts they made tee shirts that said “super bowl 41 1/2”
War eagle
07 patriots best regular season team of all time
Nuclear How So?
@@freelanceryuu Because they absolutely destroyed teams in the regular season. I mean in the first half of the season they were averaging like 41 points and like 33 points in the second half.
I think the most memorable dallas cowboy game I watched was when tony played payton mannings colts when they were undefeated and Payton's Broncos when payton and tony were throwing touchdowns back to back.
The 51 - 48 or something like that right? That was a legendary game. And Manning even ran for a TD
@@juancarlosjeanarenas6323 that’s right. It was a hell of a game from start to finish
Brady had 3-4 seconds on every snap.. what an o line
Julius Jones Marion Barber T.O.
Brady Moss and the Patriots defense 💯
RIP JUNIOR SEAU
@Jim Johnson He said TO but I agree. Romo was the second best player on that offense lol
I took my son to this game - I was born in Dallas but raised in RI....and my Dad has season tickets to the Cowboys for his company. So there we sat as Pats fans in a Dallas stadium. Awesome game.
What a powerhouse Dallas was that year!
The cowboys best season in the romo era
@@ioannesbugash5562 I’d give that to 2014
13 years later dude is still winning super bowls. crazy.
This was the game where I became a Patriots fan for life.
They've cheated their way to stardom . Not just spygate , inflate gate, and snow plow gate , but numerous times when a bad call at a crucial time favored the Whitey Bulger team . just sayin , cuz
^^Here we see a Patriot hater in its natural habitat.
07 Brady has the smoothest footwork in the pocket I’ve ever seen . He also had a cannon .
#12 Tom Brady just won a Super Bowl 2021 and Tony Romo was commentator! Wow
I remember like it was yesterday
I remember this too that was the same day that Tomlinson scored 4 Tds on the Raiders
Steven Rangel the year I got into football, I was in like 4th grade. LT is the reason I’m a diehard Chargers fan to this day.
When norv turner took over and didnt bring back lorenzo neal the best fullback besides tony Richardson and alstott of that era
RIP Marion “The Barbarian” Barber
This was the best Cowboys team since their 90s dynasty...Should have gone to the super bowl but the Giants had other plans
This cowboys team was loaded tho
Hell naa 2014 greatest team
Giants were fucking magic that postseason
cowboys had a pretty stacked offense with fasano, witten, owens, crayton, romo and barber. they just got way overshadowed by the patriots in this video.
damn still stings this 07 team didn't get a ring. this was prime brady with arguably the greatest wr of all time based off skill and athleticism.
I think brady is ok with 7 rings tho 🥴
@@TheTruth-mv7hm 8 would’ve been better
Meanwhile, Terrell Owens and Randy Moss be out there catching passes like it's 1999.
TO also did his mock of spygate a few weeks earlier but nothing in this game
lots of games on both sides that were fun to watch that season
I mean... Brady's arm is not the same right now but he still has a cannon.
its better
Brady's ball has zero zip now compared to what I see in these highlights.
Justin Peterson well he’s 42 years old that’s bound to happen
It's a shame that, all the years Logan Mankins played for the Patriots, he never won a Super Bowl.
Same with Moss and Welker
At least the Pats have won some Super Bowls over the years. My team hasn’t won a super bowl since I was 9. Geez that was a long time ago
Wes Welker to even though Logan played longer it's a shame for both but wes is 0-3 in sb's and the year after he gets blown out in the sb the pats not just win one but to go on to four more sb's and I'm glad the past did just sucks that he played so hard and was so good and clutch and to not win one sucks
Slippin’ Jimmy what’s your team? I haven’t seen mine win one since I was 11
In fact, he managed to play the exact span of NE's Super Bowl "drought," from 2005-13.
It was closer than what the score shows. Awesome game.
Fun fact: Cowboys haven't beaten the Patriots since 1996. They've met 5 times since 1999 and Patriots won every game.
EDIT: 6 times, better luck in 2023.
Wow
The streak will most likely continue
@@OfficialAuxcord They couldn't beat the Jets and Vikings, I doubt they'll be able to beat the Patriots. Cowboys will get held to like 10 points and Dak will collapse, similar to every other game where they play a good defense.
ExtraSalt it’s gonna be the most watched game for sure
@@jalengreen1301 Most popular team vs most successful team
9:56 That would've been one of the greatest touchdowns I ever seen and very impressive how Marion Barber saved himself from a safety. Great highlights 👍👍
Uh, throwback, you loved my coment of me saying, “hi” SO.
Hi!
Aye, thanks throwback
Brady and Moss didn’t have to do us like that lol
Man watching this kind of illustrates just how much Brady’s arm has regressed.
SkillSwiper he had a cannon
Same with Peyton. Both of them were throwing deep balls with ease.
Exactly!!! I’m like wow
I'm not so sure he couldn't throw it 50+ still. The problem is two fold, one the O-line is useless this year and then who is gunna be down field to even catch a 50 yarder Edelman, Sanu or a guy who was on the field that day against the cowboys Ben frickin Watson. When they bring AB back we'll see what he can do with a real deep threat receiver.
For real though. Brady was flicking that bitch 70 yards like it was nothing. He can still get it that far now, but it takes far more effort and the pass doesn't have the same kind of velocity his passes here had.
I’ll never forget this game!
Dallas had 13 pro bowlers. Crazy.
I remember watching this game live and loving it!!
Near Moss touchdowns at:
-0:05
-8:32
-9:53
Phantom OPI around 13:00 mark play not shown
Thanks for the Memories!
This patriots team was the best they had in the Belichick and Brady era and it’s crazy to think that they lost to Eli Manning and the giants😂😂😂
Shabazz Rgt yeah, still though it’s crazy because people argue about this team being one of the greatest ever. That pats o line was the best Brady ever had too and they got shredded in the Super Bowl!
Man that year the patriots offense was stacked
I feel so bad for welker. He should have at least 2 rings. 1 fron pats and other from broncos.
He really should have 2, 2007 and 2011. The Broncos got destroyed in 2013 though so not that one. 2 out of 3, instead he's 0 out of 3.
Love NFL & NBA for life
Marion barber and marshawn lynch are too alike😖
Owens and moss both teams definitely brought all the hype
Heck yeah this was one of the most entertaining games ever 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
