You have written it was approx 2L including installation cost I have gotten a quote for almost 3L. Just wondering if they are scamming me or has the price really gone up by that much since you installed it
@@helintroy Hi, yes I had purchased at the said price but currently people are being quoted anywhere in the range of 2.5 - 3L.
@@KKCOnAMotive ok I was quoted 2.7 with additional cost for fitting and testing…. I guess I’ll have to now nut up and buy the exhaust from them as I’m not wanting to void the warranty as the car is almost brand new….

The M340i with this Performance exhaust is the most M thing one would ever want in India. I mean it's a perfect build for the Indian road condition, yeah the economy will drop quite a bit but fuck yeah!!

I’m considering the LCI model along with the mpe and the m performance steering wheel but I’m just confused whether the steering wheel is worth it or not. Do you have any idea how much would the m performance steering wheel cost ?

Really loved it, the sound and your smile 😁😁. Your's isn't the M exhaust or did you fit another one? The 2023 LCI specs sheet mentions it as an M exhaust.

Imo the finish was very vanilla, akrapovic also makes exhausts for bmw , but as you said you wanted to keep the warranty intact , which is a must in India ... And did you guys leave the car in idle after installing the exhaust or let's say it's a slip-on . For the ecu to recalibrate with the new setup ???

I'm waiting on my LCI M340i to be delivered. I optioned on this exhaust from the dealer and the carbon fiber interior trim as well. Hopefully I will have the car by the end of next month.

How much mileage you are getting before and after you change the exaust?
Thanks Rachit. The fuel economy is unchanged as this is an axle back & not a full catback. I have achieved as high as 14 km/l and as low as 6 km/l too hence it all depends on the way you drive the car.

The warranty stays with this upgrade as i have said in the video because its an official BMW upgrade and comes with a official BMW part no. For prices its best to contact the dealership. All the best !
Could you please let me know how much they charged for the exhaust and also the 19" 792 Wheels please ? I saw on Team BHP that they imported them for you. Did they take the original alloys back or do you have them aswell ?

The Rims + Michelin PS4S tyres cost about 4.8L. OE rims and tyres were sold separately to pvt. Individuals as BMW dealership buyback schemes were 1 sided deals.

Yes it is surely recommended if you want your x5 to sound aggressive, sporty & engaging.

The pre LCI 1st couple of lots were the loudest stock. Then in facelift LCI in India with 48V mild hybrid system car sounded mellow, but with a few mods it can all be taken care of.

There is an M Performance Exhaust available for the 30i engine too. Best to contact the dealership for the exact part no. and quote. In aftermarket solutions you can look at Magnaflow, IPE, FI, ArmyTrix or Eisenmann.

The prices of M Performance exhaust have increased recently. Dealerships are quoting anywhere in the range of 2.5 - 3L. Being an official upgrade having OE BMW Part no. the warranty should remain intact.

Cody, this is a Feb 2021 manufactured M340i but it doesnt have the mild hybrid system (like 2021+ EU or US spec versions). Hence its comparable to 2020 US Spec. M340i.

No. But if you are having the 30i engine then there is a different M Performance Exhaust available. Contact the dealership & im sure they will have a quote/availability.
How is a BMW X430d 2022?
If you like the SUV coupe' bodystyle then x4 is the one to get with the 30d as x3 will not offer that engine.

Good question. This upgrade comes with an official part no. and was installed at a official BMW service centre. It passes the PUC too, hence dont know whats illegal about it.
