Still one of the most PROFITABLE items to craft

- Crafting can be one of the most profitable activities in Guild Wars 2. Knowing what to craft might sometimes be a challenge though, especially with the 100s of recipes the game throws your way.
One common factor most profitable recipes, that have withstood the test of time, is that they require account bound materials. People with gold and/or no time, usually pay a premium for those.
In this video I'll share 16 of these items for you to craft, with a profitability ranging from 70 gold, all the way up to 100 gold. You probably already own a lot of the required materials. Whatever you're missing, you can probably come up with in a reasonably short time.

"Faster than an Elementalist to Downed state" That's Good!
Once you have a decent amount of gold summed up, this method becomes infrerior to crafting gen 3 legendaries, simply because their profit per spirit shard and imperial favors is much higher. Just a thing to consider, if you wanna maximize results. (My tip would be to invest into making gold first, not spending it immediatly.)
ty for the guide
awesome phandrel!
Thanks, this is very helpful. I have all crafting professions maxxed and a ton of ascended materials but haven't really done anything with them yet. It sounds like this might be a good way to start making gold so that at some point I will have enough to craft legendaries for myself. As a casual player, this precursor crafting seems like something that I can work on a little at a time. I also need to make a list of the important things that I should be doing on a daily basis that doesn't take up all of my playtime (there's so much to potentially do, it's daunting).
Hope this helps! Precursors are the ideal stepping stone indeed, as they're much less resource intensive than Legendaries.
I am working on a "daily" and "weekly" video, but picking what to in-/exclude is just daunting :P
Just a note: you can get 5 dragon's end writs for 3 of the other EoD zone writs at gyala delve at the Requisitions Specialist. It requires the meta to be progressed to a certain point to unlock however - although you can just hop onto a meta map from LFG and buy it.
Oh thanks! I actually never bothered to check GD, that's an oversight on my part.
Yeah I quite like doing this method. I've been doing it on & off for the past 3 months and I rotate it with rift farming (for profit).. Those 2 methods are quite good IMO. doing all of the weekly rift nets you around 100g profit I think? (i only do weekly now a days) EoD & Soto are good money at this moment of time and I think it will last for a long time. :)
That's indeed an excellent combo! The weekly rifts are such a nice addition with SotO, and I agree, I believe they'll be worthwhile for quite some time.
how long would it take to get one sold?
Depends on the specific weapon, but usually a few of each sell per day.
I made 2 pistols in the last week and they both sold in an hour so I think they're decent velocity
Imperial Favors... they've been blocking me from making legendary weapons for months... 😢
I've been playing with the Jade Sliver module for quite some time, and it has definitely helped.
From a gold per hour perspective, it's worse than might or magic trophies, but it has been a great help with account bound stuff.
@@phandrel Yes, I use it on most characters, and certainly on those I actively play frequently, but it still doesn't significantly improve my situation.
I have a problem with this, because I think that the third generation of weapons is the only right one and if I were to make one, it would be only with this one, but I hate farming this one currency. 😢
@@vanhohenheim9083 Yeah sadly it'll still involve a LOT of metas. Although the hero points and hearts are stacking up slowly for me. But I agree
