Remember your preseason prediction about Okoro playing so well the Cavs can't afford him. I hope you're right and i hope you're wrong lol. I think even Okoro could stand to benefit significantly in a high motion offensive scheme.

Cam Johnson is a better 4 than 3. I worry about him being able to guard small forwards. I agree with you on Finney-Smith.
Okoro is not a stats guy, he's a do the stuff that doesn't show up in the stats guy.

Your take was spot on and could tell you did your homework, which is refreshing in today's world.
There isn't any player on the FA market and no candidate worth trading for that puts us in a better situation to win. Sure we could add another 5-8 points a game but at the loss of our best coverage guy who guards the opponents best 1 & 2 so add points to our opponents card.
I don't see how finned-smith would be an upgrade over Okoro. Can someone explain that one to me? Im asking because I see a lot of fans want to trade IO for DFS
He is bigger and can guard real forwards and more important he is playable in the playoffs unlike okoro.

Every contender has an elite point of attack defender. Okoro will not stop improving and growing. He needs to stay with the team.
Well we know for sure that he's not going to grow 5 inches at best he's a undersized 2 Guard in today's NBA he's listed at 6"5 id say 6"3 & im being generous...
Keeping Donovan Mitchell seemed to be the high priority for Cleveland this Summer. Then extending Mobley's contract is the #2 priority. Everything else was menial and miscellaneous.
Garland will not be traded before the season starts

They're just playing the waiting game on Okoro and his QO. They are too close to the apron when it comes to his salary. He's trying to get more than the 11.whatever mil and if he can, they will likely match. That makes the 6 mil or so difference money sitting in purgatory and unusable until he signs it or gets a better offer. Just stuck until that gets settled. Not much they can do

I was hoping that you would not be like the other channels that are more about pr and signing flashy well known players and more about actually about the team and what would be best for the team and its future. Signing Mitchell complicated everything and hand tied the Cavs even further. I said trade him. Not because I don’t like Mitchell. That’s dumb. If Cleveland traded him they could’ve begun to put together a well balanced team
Keeping Mitchell is more important than having a “balanced team” that ultimately goes no where. You need stars in the NBA, especially nowadays. However, yes, waiting for Mitchell to extend did limit the Cavs.

Respectfully, you're missing the boat on this one... Mitchell is a high level talent and even if a trade is considered, it's better to have him signed to an extension, which they have now done despite most pundits saying it wouldn't happen
