Just what I was looking for. No unnecessary gaff just straight forward instructions and facts. Now I have something to build on further. Thank you very much. This was an excellent and very informative video.
Absolutely love the fact it has globe mode now!! Biggest feature I never knew I wanted that will make planning for trips across the pond that much more like the real world EFB!
Thank you so much for making this video! I just got Navigraph and while some things are very intuitive, it can do so much that the learning curve is still steep.
VFR Flight Planning - Pilots usually fly point to point. VFR Checkpoints are simply references to confirm that you are still on the proper course. For example, Such and Such bridge should appear off the LEFT side the airplane …. At THIS mile maker, and this time- according to your plan. This lets the pilot know if they are still on course, and that the winds in flight are not significantly different than their initial plan. You cross reference your Course track with NavAids ….VFR check points and GPS to ensure you are on course. Just a helpful tip, for those wishing to replicate the PPL experience :). PPL & Simmer.
Q8 Pilot Thanks for the detailed tutorial on using navigraph carts. I struggled to navigate the program, but you made it all easy to understand... Great Job and Thank You so much!
Good evening to all. Thanks for another great video, always try to catch up as I'm often away too long. I just wanted to ask if Navigraph now show other aircraft, as i only fly in VR and would be great to see on the moving map this would be just what others can see when they use the built in VFR map in MSFS 2020. Once again thanks.
Hello Thx voor the tutorial. but i have a question, in the beginning ad 1.05 about filters i have the newest Navigraph charts 8.31.0 but i dont see the filters? where can i found the filters
Another great video sir. I've just signed up for Navigraph but am struggling to get it working in X-plane 11. I think I've got the nav data updated in Garmin and FMC (B757) but don't know how to get it working in the aircraft that support Avitab or how to view the charts in those aircraft that don't support Abitab.
the vfr additions are really cool, i hope more people use it for that? (i'll use it for more situational awareness) but i feel like most people that have navigraph are flying ifr/commercial type flights.. i mean i could be wrong. i have found it a little hard to get used to, some things seem a little deeper in menus to find.. but i do love some things, like the weather reports, the way it shows the different sid/stars and transitions, all the way points on the flight plan, and especially how you can zoom into the airport your at. the globe view is really cool but i don't know if its really helpful in any meaningful way. i think they said in the future maybe showing vatsim or ivao traffic? that would really be awesome!
any suggestions or review on CRJ for xplane 12,,,i dont see much out there,,,i really liked the javierrollon crj200 but is not updated por xpl12 thanks
@@Q8Pilot So if you dont know how to use the aircraft computer, the autopilot is pretty useless. That sucks. BTW. Thanks for your videos. They are great,
why cant I see my plane on the map half of the times? before I could press the arrow in the right top corner and my position symbol would show itself on the map but now that function is gone. The funny thing is that the map will still follow my position when I fly I just cant now exactly where I am.. any solution to this?

Thank you for taking the time to write and for your kind words. Happy flying!
Thank you very much for this very clear and complete tutorial, as usual your contributions to our flight simming community are priceless! Cheers

They have made this the best Charts program hands down. I absolutely love it.

No it only shows your aircraft.
Great job, captain, 👍 the details, especially. 👏
Glad this was helpful.
The keyboard will not do small type.

Excellent as always Sam!!! Well done.

Fantastic job. I've figured out a lot by myself in recent weeks, but this was really helpful for a few new tips! Thank you.

Why did you not use a full screen for Navigraph? I is had to read fr graphics as they are so small.
I have a 43 inch monitor so its difficult with full screen. I used magnification but I see your point my apologies.
any suggestions or review on CRJ for xplane 12,,,i dont see much out there,,,i really liked the javierrollon crj200 but is not updated por xpl12 thanks
The reason I have not reviewed it is that it does not qualify for a review. It has received a score of below 6.
so no way to get the flight plan information to plug into the FMC myself while in VR? that's disappointing.
Does it import the flight information into the aircraft? So its visible on the aircraft display.
No

How much did your computer cost? Everything in it. Exclude the monitor please.
Approximately USD 10K.
oh wow lol
Really? 10K 😳😭☺️😱?
@@Q8Pilot I do not have money.
@@Nemura12 only because he's in Kuwait. Probably would have cost 5/6k outside.
I know it has nothing to do with the video. Does anyone know where I can get a hamad intl scenery for X-Plane 11

You need to make sure Simlink is started. Sometimes it requires a manual start.
@@Q8Pilot thanks. will check it next time.

damn the vid is so good.. but you mic makes a very high pitched sound all the time.
I have replaced my mic since this video. It shouldn't be a problem with later videos. My apologies.
You sound like Stephen Hawkins
Not sure if that is a good thing or not =) but thanks for watching!
