According to the original plans, ten S-500 battalions were to be purchased for the Russian Aerospace Defense (VKO) under the State Armament Programme 2020 (GPV-2020).
As of 2013, the S-500s were intended to work in parallel with S-400s, and the systems together were planned to replace most of the the S-300 missile systems.The first units are planned to be deployed around the Moscow oblast and the country's central area in 2025.A naval version is the likely armament for the new Lider-class destroyer, which was to enter service after 2020 but was not operational as of 2022.

The US patriot system is more advanced then all of Russian air defence systems. In the USA the patriot system is old news....they always have something better and more advanced, down their sleeve.
It can't seem to even shoot down ATACM'S aimed right at it.

The f-16 is old tech, that why it was given away. It don't have gilded missile, so it has shoot up close, Russia has tons of ground to air solid state heat seaking missiles, that why it all talk but will not arrive. As I said ship abd jets and air craft carrier are out dated.
Drone that are cheap our aren't are guided bomb that can do what jet can do way better they can linger over the field for hr to pick the best line of tanks or troops. No their be no jet air fight or stealth attack, that all a money waste. Our equipment are outdated, Russia taking out 30-50 a day. Zensky will be asking for more soon.

@@anthonyreid7221This really happened but it doesn't mean that the system wouldn't be reliable. It happened because of a changed tactic of Ukrainian missile attacs and could be fixed by an easy software update.
@@penoge yet zero evidence has been provided now days later. Much like ukraine claiming they shot down 10 fighter jets in a row. Only evidence provided being a red X.
@penoge every news article says, "may have destroyed an s500". Surely ukraine could provide some footage.
@@anthonyreid7221 However, clear is they were able to destroy S-300 and S-400 by their changed tactic of attac and the way they did it will also work at S-500 and can only be fixed with a software update.
