What about Michael Jordan's dunk from half court when he played for the Toon Squad against the Mon-Stars???
lol that wasn't a dunk tho, more like a lay-in
Yeah definitely wouldn't count that one. Too bad though, that was one legendary slam, I have to give it to MJ. No man has yet to beat that record for longest dunk.
Because it's a movie
@@RenegadeGunn Joke dude
Nightwing20 I believe I can flyyyyyy... That soundtrack was fire
I think the secret to his dunk was his ability to actually hold a vice grip on that ball with just one hand while dunking. His aggressive attacking and freakish athleticism paired with his humbleness and heart made him truly 1 of 1. He brought swag, handles, technical knowledge and heart to basketball and made it so much more. He was an icon and will forever be the goat in my book
Dr J did the same thing. He was able to dribble away from the defender and would palm the ball with the same hand.
Michael just made everything cool. That dude could make Birkenstocks look cool.
Glazing 😂😂
There's no doubt that Jordan was the best player to ever play the game of basketball.
45rd like
Was.. until Lebron burst on to the scene. And I’m a huge Jordan fan
I also think that lebron might be better
geordie Jordan may have more rings but my man lebron james knows how to carry a team to the finals. And don’t even get me started on him dunking that ball💪🔥
What about Wilt
I never tire of Jordan highlights. I've seen these dunks so many times but they still make my jaw drop.
Same. Jordan kills it
do you tire of your favorite food? because that's what jordan is to basketball.
MJ and the Bulls were my childhood. I may have only been a kid but I knew he was something special and this was one of basketballs greatest eras
What gets me is how he seems to defy gravity.
Lebron more powerful dunker
What people don't realize is that he was dunking on these people jumpin off two feet. That's hard as hell. At least 9 of these dunks are off of two feet. The others he's also able to jump off of either right OR left. The man was athelitcally gifted with a high IQ and capability to put both of them together and take over the game the way he did. HE IS THE G.O.A.T.
EJ Dela Cruz no Lebron is.
@@bdolk1760 I respect your opinion.
@@bdolk1760 negative
Good Content nobody NOBODY will be as good as MJ
@@ejness how old were you when you posted this ? I rarely see people comeback to a comment from a few months ago
Jordan is the best ever, period.
That was more than 10 dunks, but who cares.
@@iamandres618 🤳🤳
I was wondering the same thing too. I didn't count it but it felt like more than ten.
There was about 13 clips
It was probably too hard to pick only 10. He’s amazing
I was just thinking the same thing. 😆
1:30 Free throw - dunk was was awsome
only slight exaggeration
Please remember this is a 6'6 2-guard doing this stuff, not a 6'10 athletic 4 or 6'9 265lb freak of nature.
@A Z he didn't even mention giannis
6’6 is still a pretty tall height
A 6'6 two guard with a 6'9 wingspan, 48 inch vertical (highest in history) and a 9.72 inch palm length (wider than Bol Bol who's 7'2ft) and an extremely high metabolism
Yeah definitely not a freak of nature
Say what you want but guys like Lebron or Jordan are freak of natures as well
Not everyone has to be a 7'1, 325lbs monster to be considered one
*6'4
lbj is great, but MJ is on another level
MGVolts you’re the reason I hate MJ fans
Michael Jackson?
this whole video is average lebron dunk reel shits on this
Everyone forgot about mamba
@@xcvans.-.5749 😑😑😑
3:39 that's MJ creating art
Never been much of an NBA fan but Jordan never stops blowing my mind. He gets to the point where he should be coming down but just keeps going higher.
That last one is why Michael Jordan will always be number 1 for me. The insight, speed and strength are incredible. And I don't even like basketball that much - I am a volleyball player. But I recognise a great jumper when I see one.
It's awesome how this man has been retired for years and when you ask little kids today who their favorite player is they say Michael Jordan. This man is basketball.
There will only ever be one. Other players may have unbelievable talent, but no one, and I mean no one, makes shots like this. This guy didn't just make the points...he made a masterpiece out of every step he took. God bless Michael for all the good he did. Inspiring so many kids to play sports. He probably saved more lives than we realize. Definitely, will forever be my favorite.
OMG i just wish i was Born Earlier to see Jordan in Action The Best Forever
Anyone who says MJ isn't the GOAT is too young to have actually seen his career. He made NBA players look like college players every game he played. He dominated every facet of the game. There where very few games he played in where he wasn't the best offensive and defensive player. And he could take over a game at will. He was basketballs Wayne Gretzky.
That's such a dumb take because you never seen Bill Russell or wilt play
LeGoat betta
@@kmoney8201 DING DING DING 🛎
@@kmoney8201 there was only 10 teams in bill russel’s era you can’t argue that with relevancy 🤦🏽♂️
@@thereall.e9828 yeah, as great as Bill Russell was, I wouldn't put him up at the top. I believe there's absolutely a battle between MJ and Wilt for the #1 spot.
Wilt's size and athleticism allowed him to dominate in a way that nobody has ever really seen. He scored 100 points once, 78 points another time. His career averages are 30.1 PPG, 22.9 RPG, 4.4 APG and who knows how many blocks? He had a season where he averaged 50.4 PPG! then followed it up with 44.8 the next year. People like to say "oh but he was so much taller than everybody back then - it's not fair." So?! It's not fair that Jordan was able to jump over everybody or that he was so quick and strong. Physical attributes are just part of the game. Yao Ming was taller than everybody else, and he was great but he was no Shaq or Wilt or Kareem. You still have to put it all together.
He was such a stylish and exciting player!
3:38 is The Best Dunk Ever!!!
So fucking athletic
It is the Dr. Julius windmill dunk, yet MJ looks so fkin smooth, he is like made to play this game.
Not better than lebron's dunk on Bjelica
@Jules Brown facts
@@bobduncan4167 your crazy
That cradle dunk was MJ’s signature, nobody done it better 💯🔥🔥🔥
I believe he got it from Dr J though, who also did it extremely well.
When I'm old, I'll tell my children and grandchildren, "I saw him, I saw greatness"

It would be so frustrating having to play against him.
RIP, all of the defenders who were in Jordan's path as he went up to dunk.
Best player ever He just makes it look so easy
so true.
That MJ dunk against the Heat that starts at about 3:09, is my favorite dunk of all time. Stealing the ball, weaving through defenders and then riding up against bodies for the two-hand jam. Amazing.
Bro disrespected the WHOLE Miami defense.
😭😭😭💯
I remember that game as a teen.
Amazing how one professional athlete, made many other professional athletes, look like unprofessional athletes..
yes
expansion teams
I’m 39 yrs old and I can remember watching that game where pippen was shooting the free throw and Jordan comes out of nowhere and slams it. The momentum of the game was set in stone at that point. Could you imagine the morale of the other team after witnessing that.
Forever legend.
big names he dunked on: Mutumbo, Mourning, Ewing,
+mark perez You forgot Manute Bol
And Charles Barkely
And the monstars
Kareem didnt he
Didn’t he dunk on Mark Eaton once?
Jordan is a monster
3:38 still my favourite in-game dunk!
Amazing indeed...mj the greatest player of all time..
The greatest there will ever be
I know nothing about basketball but this was sick
"Jordan was bearing down on him from the sky" - goose bumps
People don't understand the amount of times you would get checked during a dunk or a drive in, elbow, slap, pulled, and whatever else physical it took to stop you and most of the time it wouldn't be called by the ref. Please do me a favor and watch the video and take a closer look at how aggressive the Defense is in the paint and MJ says NOPE!!!
You're absolutely right. The defenses back when Jordan played were much tighter and more physical. They didn't call those ticky-tack fouls back then that are called today.
The way he weaved through the miami heat on that fast break and still had the explosiveness to doublepump ON someone is insane. 🐐
Never gets old watching MJ highlights. Still amazes me every time.
A true basketball legend. I remember when I was young; I used to watch him play a lot and yet I still remember when he won the last NBA title vs Utah jazz
Greatest of all time.
3:07 that dunk against Heat is one of my all time favorite. When there's a Jordan will there's a Jordan way!
That’s the charlotte hornets
Brings a tear to my eye.!!! MJ is amazing.!!! :D
3:39 is the best dunk ever..MJ all day!
So glad I grew up in the MJ era! Love those Sunday NBA games at my grandma’s house after church watching Jordan vs Bird, Jordan vs Magic Johnson, all those great matchups!
1:34 Scottie Pippen goes for the free throw and shoots it but it misses and Michael Jordan caught it in mid air and dunked it, possibly my favorite Michael Jordan dunk Ever
You can't compare MJ to anyone else, he was in his own league! People just forget to quickly but these are great reminders, just wow, can't stop watching it!
It's gotta be the shoes,,,,
😂😂👌
Ha Ha Ha!
Michael Jordan has a 48 vertical. That's the highest ever in the NBA
Yep. I gotta get some!
+Rossni “Wexler” Presendieu 48 in NBA 2k terms?
Fact he could just hop for a dunk is what made ALL dunks amazing. The way he could phone in a dunk, JUST to lift up for an extra 2/3 seconds for a pose, to see his head lift over AND TO DO it during the hardest of times. Amazing.
Amazing to think this 10 minute clip of a snippet of Jordan’s highlights is more exiting the entirety of the WNBA
Jordan: fantástico, incrível, fabuloso. O melhor de todos os tempos!
I was a kid when he was playing, I'm more familiar with Kobe or LeBron, but jeez, Jordan is LEVELS above both of them. GOAT, without a doubt.
JORDAN'S DUNKS ARE LEGENDARY BUT HIS LAYUPS ARE GODLY AND WE CAN NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN....GOAT
Lately I’ve been going home from work and just picking random full game highlights of him to watch and it’s so cool watching him
LeBron dunks are insane no doubt (especially the power dunk ones); however, MJ's dunks have more grace to them, and its looks more impressive/appealing to see a 6' 6" guy glide in the air than a 6'8" or 6''9 , 260 lbs guy glide.
Yup
@3:04 - 3:09 that’s gotta be the first meme done of MJ 🤣🤣
im so proud that i saw this back in the days, on tv.i woke up early in the night to see that great team of chicago Bulls (Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Grant, Kukoc, Kerr, Ron Harper etc).GREAT TEAM
Michael Jordan uses the springboard technique when he lifts off. That’s why he’s able to generate so much bounce and that’s also why he almost always jumps off of two feet.
It’s a technique I use for my spot up jumpers.
I recommend trying it. It really helps.
My ten year old niece from London is here in the states and is heavy into sports. She doesn’t really play ball but being she’s visiting America she’s becoming interested in basketball. She watched Jordan highlight dunks and then NBA best dunks from 22-23 season. I was so proud when she said that the modern dunks “it seems they’re just “dunking” whereas Jordan dunked with style and grace. It’s definitely the truth.
Things that didnt happen for 500
@@Checkered_gaming it’s not that deep for it to be considered a lie
That's what ALSO set him apart. It wasn't just the athleticism; he was BEAUTIFUL to watch.
god the way he slid past the double team at the end was just unreal. if you watch his feet closely you can see how he did it. he had an amazing sense for when people were going to be in an exact place and the exact time they would be there
A unique talent who dazzled with his fiery nature and other dimension skills. Simply the best.
I was a kid at the time but I'm thankful I got to see him play in his prime.
Me sinto privilegiado por ter assistido muitos jogos transmitidos ao vivo por televisão nas décadas de 80 e 90; imagino o espetáculo para quem o assistiu em quadra.
1:54 omg
Best Air Jordan Dunk collection I´ve ever seen on the Internet. And believe me - I saw a lot
I can watch this on repeat.. it's just beautiful to see.
He was amazing and always will be.
Jordan: espetacular! Inigualável, único.
“Vintage Jordan, Superstar ! “ Classic commentary. Witnessing a Legend in the making at the time.. amazing stuff 👍
1. When that tounge comes out, you knew something will happen
2. Jordan's super vintage style
3. He is just simply amazing
ahhhh.music to my ears!
This man made his mark in this world, to say the least....Happy Birthday MJ!
🙃 where u at cutie pie honey bunch
He is a legitimate god
Thank you Michael💪
Bro like how! How do you glide and make it majestic and wow. Wow
The athleticism of the rock the cradle is crazy. It’s people now that can’t do that dunk like that.
MJ humiliated Ewing so many times on dunks and even blocks. Hilarious. In the 1990s playoffs, he dunked on him hard once, and then ran him down from behind and blocked his breakaway dunk attempt on another play, injuring Ewing's shoulder a little.
Amazing Jordan the Goat
Simply the best
Sometimes while watching MJ I get confused and think I'm watching the Harlem Globe Trotters. :O
MJ is the best that has EVER played BB still PERIOD
This has to be one of the hardest categories to narrow down. So much to pick from
0:36 the one I’m looking for
Ive watched many great players back in the day ive seen great players now magic , karrem bird stockton Drexler kobe Lebron this is a short list of a hundreds of other good players but none was more exciting to watch then Jordan and made me go to the basketball court like he did
3:48 best dunk in nba historie ever it looks like he is falling from the sky to jam it in
most overated dunker in nba history
he barley touched the rim vince would have bent the rim on that dunk
@@kidpoker9408 i luv vince but bro why u hatin on mj
he makes everything seem so easy, he dribbles so naturally.
And MJ23 did those all incredible DUNKS during the Real Big Men Era and way harsher NBA Rules.
1:32 I think that is the most ridiculous dunk ever. The leap, the timing, the anticipation, the control, the momentum, all in one moment. Greatest basketball player of all time right there.
You don’t watch baskerball
Killing dunk
MJ was a showman. GOAT.
I love how he just waits mid-air until the opponent gets back down.
That was a lot more than 10.... But how can you get mad at watching greatness?
They compare these players to Mj and they still can't do these amazin dunks 30 years later lol
Great video! I still miss the Michael Jordan era!
Happy I witnessed and Lived during this era.
the original king mj..
Where’s the dunk when he played with the Toon Squad. That was legendary
I know a lot of these plays and playcalls so well from that one Top 50 Michael Jordan Plays video on UA-cam
you can watch over and over again never get old
They used the same audio clip from 0:38 at 3:38
1:38 its THE BEST!
I know! As soon as I saw that, I re-winded it like 10 times hahah.. freaking crazy..
xD
Those tongue dunks are so iconic
I miss old basketball today it almost unwatchable I miss the real defense I miss the Jordan’s Kobe’s Shaqs and all the 90s player all tough players
