  • Sorry if its not the best vid. As i say in the vid I was not going to make a vid on this. Remember to order a starter online or get a low mile used one to save some money.

    Got one brand new with next day delivery on Amazon of all places. $69 + tax. And a 2-3year warranty as well. Even took my old one to a rebuild shop and they said no one would be able to beat that price on Amazon. Save your self some cash and order from the big A!

    After seeing so many videos on how to replace this or that on computers and car parts, etc and so forth, there seems to be a common denominator that video posters are doing jobs like this with one hand. Viewers are learning more how to replace parts with their left hand when they are right handed. I believe there are cameras to record with to be mounted on your forehead, this way you have two hands to show audience to work freely and more efficienly.

    Thanks! Simple and straightforward. Good video. I'm at 60k and when I hit the push button sometimes it just clicks. Only a couple times a month. How long was yours acting funny or did it go out all at once?

    wouldn't it be safer to have the entire care on solid stands like pieces or rail ties, rather than lifted on stands. I would feel safer in the 4 tires would be on solid stands rather than lifting the car on the chassis, because removing the starter will make the car move even tilt..

    • @luckycarguy
      @luckycarguy  2 роки тому +2

      it would make it easier and safer, but I don't have access to a lift. you always make sure you do a bump test after putting any car/truck on stands or lifts to make sure nothing happens.

    • @NEyankee
      @NEyankee 2 роки тому +2

      Unless you have a four post lift. You're still lifting at the same jack points whether it's jack stands or lift. Yes you always do a bump test stands or lift 👍

    Thanks for a great video. That helps. Did you use the re-furbished after market starter or re-furbished OEM one? Have you had any problems with the starter since? The dealer told me that Honda is sensitive with the after-market products. I hope they didn't pull my legs.
