This bike is shorter than many, and without folding it may actually behave for loading into an RV. Maybe. Today a question comes to mind: Having a geared drive up front, when the motor is off it adds resistance by all the gear and bearing friction. So I'm thinking the way to go up front is direct drive. I predict this will become the norm for a few makers who really get the reasoning. If price is competitive, and Bandit will fit in the RV, I call it a smart buy.
Yeah, it would fit in the back of a pickup. I have one that's a bit longer. And I have to put it diagonal. It folds, but the folding isn't terribly convenient. I think the shortness of this bike. What actually worked better for... Traveling with it on or in another vehicle.

Did I miss seat height? Mfg page says 33.4 in which I simply do not believe. Looks closer to 37 in. You didn't happen to measure it, did you? Definitely a tall seat - you just barely stand over it and you're like what? 6'6"? Can anybody verify this 33.4" seat height? The seat is easily 9" or more above the rear wheel (about 2-3" more than it NEEDED to be, since there is more clearance than that with rear suspension fully compressed. Rear battery is pretty low capacity (15Ah is NOTHING) when most slide-in rear-rack batts are 20-24Ah capacity and no bigger in size, so that was a design error. Trying to reach the mfg but they have very LIMITED HOURS of online sales/support so that's not a great sign either - almost as bad as the Nutt brakes with the 120g OVERHEAT-PRONE "death rotors" other companies have tried and ditched - what a nightmare those will be on such a heavy bike. But it's CHEAP ENOUGH that I'll try one or two, IF that seat height is TRULY 33.4 inches...
Interesting observation, probably doesn't translate to Ebikes but on an ice engine in a car contrary popular assumption, if in the right gears, getting to speed faster uses less gas for the total trip than easing into speed, there's "throttle losses" associated with restricting fuel delivery Then the car is most efficient at speed, so the longer you're there the better gas millage more than compensation for the fuel used getting to speed Also counteractive, going up and down hills hill uses less gas than going straight, the reason there, ice engines are more efficient under load than with no load, even though you burn more gas going up a hill you reap positive dividends coasting down Thsse details are probably reversed with electric motors, but I don't know, would be interesting finding out
To ride these e bikes on British roads, you will have to have it registered with the DVLC ,have a number plate ,have it taxed and probably have it MOT after 3years ,have it insured to make it legal. The police will fine you and you will have points on your licence. It would be classified as a electric motorcycle or moped. So it's not a simple case of just buying one and setting off for a simple free ride
Do you know anyone personally at Bandit bikes? A bunch of us prepaid in June and still no tracking number. Is this a scam I know you are just a blogger about bikes and do not reorienting them. Any information coming from anybody except them would be reassuring.. Great reviews I enjoy watching them.

Your height should be good, as it has 20" wheels. The Bandit X-Trail Lite, and X-Trail Pro, are both good bets. Another top contender with 20" wheels is the "RAEV Bullet GT" ... but don't be tempted by their upcoming GTX model, as it's engineered for taller riders.

I own a production model. I’ve had issue with my bike from the start. It’s slower than advertised (max 28mph regardless of mode) and range is closer to 70miles. With that said, it’s still fun for getting around town. Hill climb is decent but there’s definitely power fade over time. Also post sales support is non-existent... My partners bike is bricked due to a short 3weeks in and we’ve only gotten a promise of a call from a “manager”.

⭐⭐Made for riders 5'9 and less because the seat height is not adjustable. I don't know what these companies are thinking about making these bikes, they're missing out on a huge segment of the US population by making me silly moped bikes that have no adjustable seat height.
Looks like competition for the Ariel Rider Grizzly. Is top performance mode locked out, when you get the bike, or is it enabled out of the box? Some manufacturers want you to punch in a special code, or phone them, to access full performance.
I own a dual motor scooter, and I can tell you that the idea that using only one motor is more energy efficient, is wrong. The reason that one motor isn't as efficient as two, is that an electric hub motor can't really be disengaged. If it isn't powered, then it's magnets are creating a lot of drag. This is the same reason that trying to pedal an ebike without power, is so very difficult. Most people think that it is just the weight of the bike creating drag, but it is actually the weight combined with the drag that the motors' magnets create when they don't have electric power. One last observation, somebody PLEASE tell the manufacture that brown and tan are not pretty bicycle colors! In fact, those colors SUCK! Please give e-bikes glittery bright colors- people will be more likely to spend $2K to $3k if they can get some beautiful eye candy.

Your test bike is 500/750 your 500 watts short so I think it will meet the specs claimed. I ordered one and will receive it in September I will see how fast it goes I’m 165lbs.I can’t wait to put it in beast mode on the trails.
Any word on this bike ^ that you have ordered?
Matt Got me laughing love the channels very Informative and very entertaining. keep the good work on both channels
Thank you!
Is this cadence pedal sensor or torque pedal sensor?
I just preordered this bike. Looked like the best overall e-bike for speed and for going on trails. For $2,000 looks like the best deal for me but won't be getting it till August.
how did you order? i entered my email but didn't see an order button
I just ordered mine and missed the August deadline and am waiting until September.
I ordered a Worksman PAV3 that won't be ready until November.
Why are these bikes "not ready" immediately?
@@kenshinhimura9387their model is presently an IndieGoGo campaign. They have test bikes in their shop in Santa Monica, but to produce this model they went with a crowdfunding campaign.
you look a lot like rob schneider, thats awesome
I love Rob Schneider "you can do it"
Damn!!! 😱 👀
This and the Fucare Gemini X are nice options!
Any idea when they will start shipping once we are able to order?
I love your reviews.
I think it would be 8 times I can go to work before I can charge it before I charge it again and it is and I think that's good so anytime once a week
Oh, YEAH!
Thank you for doing that he'll text you did an extra one I think that was for me
Great Review! Bandit has set of nice ebikes for very reasonable price.
Any plans to review the X-TRAIL URBAN?
great review!! thumbs up....peace out
now is more ebike on the road ,on side walk, soon it may needs to have License Plate 😄
Which one would you buy
Bandit x trail pro or
Rollroad Emma 3.0
Very cool.. Hopefully the production bike even bests this one top speed.
Great review , great bike ! I want on with a really nice camouflage / Matt black paint job ! Set me up ,
My little light as I'm making Manhattan I ain't I ain't
Oh man. I played so much GTA V I could drive around there all day
Interesting observation, probably doesn't translate to Ebikes but on an ice engine in a car contrary popular assumption, if in the right gears, getting to speed faster uses less gas for the total trip than easing into speed, there's "throttle losses" associated with restricting fuel delivery
Then the car is most efficient at speed, so the longer you're there the better gas millage more than compensation for the fuel used getting to speed
Also counteractive, going up and down hills hill uses less gas than going straight, the reason there, ice engines are more efficient under load than with no load, even though you burn more gas going up a hill you reap positive dividends coasting down
Thsse details are probably reversed with electric motors, but I don't know, would be interesting finding out
To ride these e bikes on British roads, you will have to have it registered with the DVLC ,have a number plate ,have it taxed and probably have it MOT after 3years ,have it insured to make it legal. The police will fine you and you will have points on your licence. It would be classified as a electric motorcycle or moped.
So it's not a simple case of just buying one and setting off for a simple free ride
I think it is the same in Canada.
Reminds me of a Honda Trail 125.
Do you know anyone personally at Bandit bikes? A bunch of us prepaid in June and still no tracking number. Is this a scam I know you are just a blogger about bikes and do not reorienting them. Any information coming from anybody except them would be reassuring.. Great reviews I enjoy watching them.
Curious if you wound up getting your bike and what you think of it?
Partly replacing the car... however these bikes aren't allowed on the public road. The speed is too excessive;
Great looking bike! I see this competitive closer to the $2000 mark, but not at $2700+. The Talaria xXx just came out at 3K so it looks like the price wars are kicking off. You should get that bike for a review!
I'll get that bike on Juiced Joyrides, they're kinda very different bikes
Right. Truly e-motorcycles. Tell that to the 13 year olds blasting the sidewalks in my community haha.
They are on sale for 2000 right now
Two different bikes it's all in what your needs are and not something that will attract the po po
Is the sting an e bike or a moped or a little bitty motorcycle?
How important is it for batteries to us Samsung/LG/Panasonic cells only? Should I feel safe buying bike that does not have them? Thanks.
So it's better than the aniioki A8 Pro dual motor?? 52v 60Ah, 1600w front wheel, 1900 wat rear wheel. Claimed 100+ mpc throttle only 220+ mpc pedal assist. 45mph max speed, front hydraulic or air shocks. For $2600
One thing I'm curious about is the seat height. Seems like this bike was made for 6feet+ people...Could someone like 5'5 ride on this?
Your height should be good, as it has 20" wheels. The Bandit X-Trail Lite, and X-Trail Pro, are both good bets. Another top contender with 20" wheels is the "RAEV Bullet GT" ... but don't be tempted by their upcoming GTX model, as it's engineered for taller riders.
Just stand on the pedals, twist the throttle then climb up to the seat when it's moving. Anybody can ride any sized bike.
@@txtworld Only 1 motor..game ender....
This is the exact bike I'm looking for.
Same here it only took a year to narrow down what I need lol I'm waiting for black Friday of this year make that price sweet
The tires sound like the 'Rackett' squad!
Very good. Though have to deduct about 2mph since the speedo is NOT calibrated correctly. I have a 1500 Watt on my converted bike and get an actual 32mph.. But I'm about 220lbs right now. Pulls me nearly 30 up gradual hills to with 52v 20amp batts
Up to 300k views better do the updated version. I really want one.☝️
Agree def need to do an updated vid of the production model.
@@savorymaxwellSorry you are having such a bad experience with it. I would be pissed theres a guy by me with one for sale I was considering supposed be like new for $1800 I was gonna offer him $1500 but I keep hearing their customer service is non existent which makes me leary. Seriously only 28mph with 2 motors?
What is the brand of motors are they using? How thick are the break disks? Bike like that need good size disk like 180 mm and at least 3mm.thick. and are the batteries UL certified? Thanks
The Good Stuff !!
I cant imagine what going over a decent bump would do with that battery pack right above the rear wheel 😅
It does nothing... Glad you're having a good time. Laughter is good.
He went over bumps in the review.
What is recommended for outdoor storage?
where EXACTLY do you plug the battery charger into the bike? I see no charging hole anywhere, but I know it has to be somewhere.
can you see or get them in Canada?
@TailHappyTV Would you recommend this bike over the Billy Goat V3 for the $2500 marK? Thanks!
I’d recommend GOAT 🤙⚡️
HI,, that is a good bike no doubt but i wrote the names of 14 bikes down now i have to choose one of them, thanks
I hope I hope that it was a 500 w front rim because I need them 250 to go up that hill
17:16 17:22😮 That's It
nice! a dual battery dual motor bike that doesn’t look like it was slapped together
Who makes the motor's for these? I think any review should say what motor is employed.
Please take it to the Hollywood sign
YES! Long range test with AWD Auto mode will be interesting :D
⭐⭐Made for riders 5'9 and less because the seat height is not adjustable. I don't know what these companies are thinking about making these bikes, they're missing out on a huge segment of the US population by making me silly moped bikes that have no adjustable seat height.
Wow! I forgot how loud 2 stroke four wheelers are lol. How did he not get busted 😅. Wow snappy little bike there, that thing hauls a$$.
Which is better, this or the Rundeer Attack10?
Do you know how much weight can it hold? I way 305lbs. Can I ride it? How about with my 11 or 9 year old daughter on the back?
I was with the understanding that to climb hills you need 52 volts butit sounds to me from what you are sating that the motor is for climbing use?
Looks like competition for the Ariel Rider Grizzly. Is top performance mode locked out, when you get the bike, or is it enabled out of the box? Some manufacturers want you to punch in a special code, or phone them, to access full performance.
Is there any cargo accessories for this E-Bike which is my only concern thinking about buying one for my first bike?
There is a small, and I mean small rear rack you can order with it if you preorder with it.
Which one would you pick? This bike or the wired freedom?
Wired freedom
Just so you all know all the x trail pro have been shipped with 750 rear and 500 front motor. I might send mine back.
Really I thought was supposed to be 1000 rear 750 front?
Love your videos. Do you know what is the best foldable ebike for $1500 or less? I need something that can handle Hills well as I live in Colorado.
He only does payed videos
@@followenzo you only leave sad comments
Im only here because the scene where tchalla is chasing bucky and Captain America was 38mph in the movie
Great review very forward love this ebike
I'm hoping you get your hands on a Fabulous Havoc X2 dual 750 watt.. Would be nice to hear your thoughts on the weight at overall comparison to that bike and this one.. I just don't want to be the first one to get a Havoc X2 US spec version.😂 60V is nice to have also.. That pig Bandit does have some cool features for assist.. Will be even better with that 750 up front
Thanks for the video, your opinion what is the best moped e-bike? Thanks
That's the difference right there the EMS got a 750 motor in the front and a 750 I think this this guy got it because this one have a 750 in the front and a thousand in the back from 2750 it broke the he did 42 on there he brought my size so I know I can do 40 with him I told you I can do for them but I'm going to have the food with this
Are these electric bikes better than the Scootstar Rockstar, the Onyx, Monday Motorbikes, etc. Based on its miles, mph, and range.
For me the turns signals, the color screen is so nice theft protection i do the the wired but this bike has more to offer period but i do like the wired
