Not everyone was as lucky as I was, but I survived another BIG range ebike ride all around the nice parts (and the not so nice parts) of Los Angeles, California. The long range ebike seen in this video is the 52v Aniioki A8 Pro Max, which to date is the largest battery ebike with pedals I have reviewed. It's heavy, and boy did I have some problems and interesting encounters on this long range electric bike ride. Buckle up.

Oh hell no! 🤦♂️🙅♂️
I cannot believe Aniioki sent such a problematic sample to a UA-cam Reviewer.
What were they thinking?
First, he had NO KEY included with the ebike, and then they made it wOrse by sending him the wrOng KEY despite him even literally sending a picture of the battery keyslot! 🙄🤦♂️
Safety, Quality, and Great Service and Support is paramount.
Dealbreaker for me here!
NEXT!
THANK YOU TailHappyTV for this enlightening helpful info...👌✌
Yeah... I love the range and the design, but the video convinced me not to buy it... sadly.
They're absolute idiots. This channel is very trustworthy and he confirmed why this company is sketchy.
What do you expect they're sending free bikes to this guy I'm surprised they don't all send returns to this dude
I have got to tell you. From your reviews alone I feel so much more confident about buying a ebike, from the review to the dismantling and assembling I feel I have learned almost everything I could possibly get from a watchable length video. You my friend are hands down the #1 reviewer doing it in my book. Everything about your videos are flawless. You hit every key point and hit every hesitant buyer question. Bravo. 👏 👏 👏
Thank you 🙏
AGREED!!
Love and appreciate that you show every last detail of your experience on this bike as well as your ride. This is a crazy video, dood.🤪
You are going abovea and beyond for this review. I have to say while your videos are always informative your getting quite good at your technical skills as well. I cannot wait to see what bikes you review in the coming weeks.
Aniioki isn't making it easy to trust them as a brand, all the issues you had with this one and the amount of time it took for them to make it right, furthermore the motor malfunctioning on the Aniioki AQ177 you reviewed. Not gonna drop any amount of cash on something that seemingly has quality issues right out the gate, which is a huge shame because on paper, these are some appealing bikes.
I returned mine, because the pressed metal frame was warped and the bike wouldn’t roll straight at all
They tried to fight me on it, but luckily I used PayPal, which gave me a complete refund
I’d never buy one just for how they sent his .
Too many fly-by-night e-bike companies popping up, unfortunately...
@@baddriversofcolgafor fuckin sure 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
I just purchased one before seeing this review, I hope i didnt make a mistake. But out of the 3 ebikes ive bought online all three had something wrong with them. Two came damaged and i got partial refunds, the one that came completely damaged liked this one i got a full refund. But this ebike review and damaged box does tell me a few things about the company, maybe ill send mine back when i receive it.
Great review.showing the town traffic people is interesting. Keep up
I've been really enjoying these videos lately as they've been progressively been getting better week by week. You've come a long way in the last year. Beyond on the reviews, you have an interesting mix of humor, scenery, and life around your area. Pretty fun to watch especially if you're not from the area. Perfect runtime; 30 minutes for the length. Great work!
Don't buy it. Aniioki very bad customer service it is trush bike. This battery is not satisfied all the functions. After 2 months you will have problems with motors. I don't recommend anyone to buy it
I love haoqi one
This was a really fun video to see all your shenanigans and the zoo that you call LA !
I Love how you edit out the CA VC-22450 violations from your videos - Lmao..! I really appreciate the fairness you use when reviewing all these bikes. i like that you use basically the same route, which shows apples to apples comparisons. It's probably boring for you, but I think it's a good thing. thanks for the upload.
Tf are you talking about. Bikes don't have to stop. It's not a "vehicle" it's a bike. You're the reason he makes the edits. Tired of hearing it I'm sure.
Back in 1960 or there about I use to ride my bike from 76th Street and Western, all the way to downtown LA when I was. kid. The Hostess Twinkie factory was our favorite stop. 10 cents per package; what a treat. Your tour of the city was amazing to see, as I have not been down there for decades. I could smell the filth oozing from my computer screen. Skid Row looks worse than ever. Amazing. I must say you are a mad-man on an e-bike. Could you slow down and exercise some caution. No, I'm not your dad, but you are making an old guy nervous! In the meantime, thanks for the great e-bike reviews. Be careful out there!
Hey Dude, your videos are great!
You're really impressive from your review knowledge to the storytelling to the editing. You're knocking it out if the park, sir: I've been a sub for your entire evolution. Kudos
Don't buy it. Aniioki very bad customer service it is trush bike. This battery is not satisfied all the functions. After 2 months you will have problems with motors. I don't recommend anyone to buy it
Nice work. Those Double-sided wafer locks are not secure and easy to pick open.
awesome! I have two of these and a eahora juliet. are you going to do the review on the A8 dual motor? Im sure a lot of people are going to want to see that. including me. lol Great vids!
I just like watching him ride around LA
Always good videos
Wow! crazy! Love the video! I know it take time edited we dont see.
I have this bike and it’s awesome. Aniioke sorted out a broken battery in exactly the same place. Handlers flip the box and the jolt breaks the case. Worth it when you have a working bike and you can easily sort out a moving seat post. You tighten the post, flip the lever closed then open, retighten and flip closed again. The post will not move!
Really great review, all of them. Hoping you make a YEAR IN REVIEW with a comparison of all the bikes you've reviewed.
Nice . Nice driving. Stay safe
I have the same display on my Fucare Gemini X and I discovered a cruise control setting - by holding down the + it activates, and then you hold down the throttle for five seconds. Pretty sweet for those long streets. You might be able to unlock a higher speed limit too.
my aostirmotor has this same screen. I have been learning these little extras for some time now. It is good to see parts going universal..they wil be available for us all. Ebay has this screen at 100 bucks. Plenty of supply.
Great electric bike mat8 ..Will probably get one sometime soon..never been to America LA. But looks really cool place..its looks like the same graphics in GTA5 the beach and city centre... all the best from Manchester UK👍😎
I've been looking at this for a couple months, can't afford it, I was just encouraging my step dad to buy this for himself, should have sent that back immediately! What a pain in the butt!! Still a very cool bike, I dig it
That was funny riding thru the hood, I watched several of your videos already. Looking to purchase an e-bike shopping around for reviews, not sure yet on what Model yet.
Lol.. A return that got no attention after it got returned but just sent out again..
Bro, all I needed to see was the BS they sent you and I will not buy from them. And that’s before I seen you actually review it. I hate to see a company send such a trashed bike. They should have sent you a shipping label to return and they should have sent you a verified new one.
I have dealt with aniioki before they sent me abuncha new stuff no cost, they don't use prime amazon shipping so package may or may not be damaged depending on shitty shipmenters
Agreed
Downtown LA - what an adventure!
Wow Los Angeles is such a lovely place nowadays. Thanks Gascon
The 3rd time you got poked, I was DEEEEAD! ☠️😂😂😂☠️
Cool im based out here too cant wait to ride my ebike around summer
look like a good way to see LA, even some of the not so nice parts
Great anti-advertising Aniioki👍😀
Good Review John Hicks Jr.. You had to do waaay too much work to get that thing rolling.
John is my youngest son
The ride alongs alot better to watch than these dangerous types of ebikes
24:13 That is a De Tomaso Pantera. Italian chassis and body, powered by a Ford 351ci Cleveland V8 and sold by Ford in the early '70s. Looks to be a 1971 model: they added a big safety bumper to these from 1972 onwards.
Hey man been watching your videos just subscribed too you have to get your hands on a Ariel Rider Grizzly bro you’ll love it
I'm surprised you survived Los Angeles regardless of what you were doing.
LOL
Still not as dangerous as Florida.
@@nunyabusiness9013 the average neighborhood anywhere in California is more dangerous than Florida. If it wasn’t for the Hurricanes and insurance debacle, I’d be headed that way indeed!
Florida has an awesome governor.
@Darkstar
So you've never lived there yet your opinion matters?
I lived in LA for 2 years, and have lived in Florida now for the past 8 years. No it isn't more dangerous than Florida.
Ever heard of a "California Man" headline?
"Florida Man" is a meme for a reason.
@Lucid
Try riding an ebike through Orlando or Kissimmee.
I really recommend trying the juiced hyperscrambler 2. It has a peak output of over 2000 watts (from what I have heard) and a 52v battery. Full suspension too. Great fun!
I've got a Hyperscrambler 2, it's awesome.
5’17 “ hell yeah brother 😂
Damaged bike, lockpicking, cameo by a local bike thief, screaming citizens, expensive cars, mansions, high gas, dancing in the streets, random wheelies, a marching band, an active crime scene. Oh and a bike review. Admittingly, I'm here for the action. Its like a DLC for GTA. Do you sell the bikes after?
K Town and Beverly Hills are right next to eachother. A population of ppl struggling to get by next to rich ppl. High income inequality causes this
Looking like cyberpunk lol
glad I bought mine before seeing this video or I never would have. Mine arrived with none of those issues, certain things needed replacing but customer service was swift and proper. I knew for the price it would not have premium components so I prebought and installed quality tires, shocks, handlebars, 11-28 cassette for a total in the bike of $2500. Now I have a great bike with over 2200 miles that I can take for a 60 mile ride and park with half a battery left and still get it up to 30 mph which for me is really what I needed. I understand its a gamble what comes out of the box after crossing the Pacific but honestly Aniioki customer service has been better than any other brand I have worked with and I firmly believe if you are patient and polite with them, they want to make the customer happy and will replace any components that go bad promptly. Yes it took a couple of months to work out all the issues but now I have an incredible long range bike for $2500 that I am loving to ride with confidence.
@gordonLardi what were the upgrades? I'm new to bikes and e-bikes...
talaria is 3150 ,so better get that ine
These rides are like documenting the decline of LA. Every time you do one of these it looks worse.
Literally will be studied in the future to try to understand why the apocalypse happened
so true.
Yeah governor newsom is garbage need to vote Red to make the hard decisions needed for change
I haven’t watched yet, interested to see what happened
You should check out NNKH 2. He rides e-bikes through the middle of Philadelphia where the apocalypse is well under way.
defiantly a return they sent you lol
It's ashame they didn't know your a popular YT Ebike reviewer. In sending you a customer return. !/2 off that bike for sure.
every time i watch your videos i am always just so happy that i don't live in LA
Looks like you got your subs to 77K, as well - nice. Add one more, sir... I just smashed the Subscribe button myself..!
Man, Los Angeles really looks like it's going downhill.
I mean juxtaposing LA's decline with the abysmal Aniioki Quality Assurance is brilliant content, but I'm a bit worried for you bro!
Guess I could slam my ball sac in a car door - or I could buy this bike and go through what you did. Think I'll slam my package instead!
O wow man, I'm in total shock to see my home in such a freaking mess seems like LA And Orange county are gone, I've never seen it this bad man
If this and the Wired Freedom had a baby I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Will happen eventually
Just when is the issue
Thanks for putting the voltage calculator on your videos. I need to know what 75% of full is for winter storage. BTW where did you get this table calculator from.
I have this ebike aniioki 52v. The brand is very good. The company aniioki is very friendly and reliable.
I have a vivid folding e-mountain bike and the range sucks and it’s heavy for a commuting bike. It’s a china bike so support is slow but they do deliver. Mine is not a well-made bike. It’s very cheap after six months already parts arresting and I’ve only been in two rainstorms. I usually keep it housed, but the mileage again is terrible on average Monday through Friday I have to commute 29.5 miles during the good weather I wanted to see if I could commute the whole way With all the problems of this bike reviewing it still seems 100% better than the one I have and I may take the risk of getting it. I love the idea of cruising at 30 instead of cruising at 15 and losing charge not even halfway through a commute. Sometimes you just don’t wanna have the pedal assist. You just wanna fly like a motorcycle. The price is pretty high if Amazon offers this with a payment plan I’ll definitely take a risk and buy it.
5:08 sick!😛😛
Guess if I’m gonna be getting one of these I’m going with the dual motor, I just watched your review on it too, the only other choice would be the walkie, I need something with range and power because of hills around here and this definitely isn’t going to cut it, the range is awesome tho, so I’ve got my choice down to walkie and the aniioki dual motor, any recommendations between the two?
Duuuuude, can you please review the Voro Motors Road Runner Pro? That would be MUCH appreciated. 🙂👍
loving the vidio but what a contrast beverley hills compaired to the street with SO MUCH homeless its sad
I wish you could do a night ride LA tour but I'm sure it would be too dangerous - fascinating to watch though
Have you ever tried the chopper style electric scooters from Eahora?
No way! Too many problems 😂
Glad that dude has a helmet on , cutting off busses and running stop signs is a good way to take the big sleep MEGALOL
He doesn't normally wear a helmet
For this style of bike, especially the foldable ones, what is the BEST for the beach? I want 2 for that specifically, that I could put in my Honda though lol
I just ordered the A8 Pro Max 52v so I’m hoping I don’t have any of these issues 😂😂 I’m getting a Sting R too though so I’ll have a backup coming shortly after
Why would you buy a sting r in addition to this? The sting r could probably handle the similar range if you ease up on the throttle and keep it under 34mph
@@c2thew for different types of riding. I doubt the Talaria would get even close to Aniioki range even if you did baby it which kind of defeats the purpose of getting the Talaria as well. If I just want to book it somewhere I can take the Sting R and not worry about being too slow for the road.
I cannot belive this monster cannot make your hill test LOL
Your videos have been great for convincing me never to visit Los Angeles…
there good and bad everywhere
hey man, do you know if the aniioki battery is the same in the eahora romeo ?
The best take that I got from your video is that I am so glad I don’t live in California . Your driving through stop signs and between cars is an early death sentence.
That seat post clamp seems to be a problem with many reviews.. Problem keeping that snug and not dropping.
Please review cosewheel ct20s 🙏🏽
24:12 De Tomaso Pantera. It's kind of a meme that everybody who sees one, always asks what it is.
Really like the purple scooter in the back . If you sell it can I have 1st dibbs in vuying it
Which one performs a little better, this one or the Rundeer Attack10?
Hi mate would u be able to tell me which e-bike I should get that last long on battery life please also with dual motor
Really nice However, the controller needs improvement
What do you have against box cutters for opening boxes instead of your foot?
Sorry to ask
Can u tell if the bikes can buy from out the US
In your videos? ?
I've actually been looking at e-bikes (this one in particular actually.) to get to and from work, and its about 4 miles and I live in a hilly area and your test up the 20% grade really helps me. I'm kinda stuck between getting this or the tst defender. Right now I have a regular bike I put a kit on, put pretty much have to charge it when I get to work and when I get home which is really annoying.
Google the Ariel Rider Grizzly. Mine has amazing hill climb capabilities from a dead stop with dual motors & extended range w dual batteries. Top speed 38 mph. Very capable bike & comfortable w full suspension.
@@simms196 thanks I'll look into it.
Get a velotric nomad or aventon adventure. Stay away from annokii
A 48v/60ah bike is waaaay overkill for a 4 mile commute regardless of hills, and these bikes really don’t have the best climbing power thanks to their mediocre torque and heavy weight. You want something lighter with a powerful rear hub or mid drive motor (or a dual-motor set-up) that can eat up hills easier.
I got a random brand 1cycle on amazon, the dual motor is the way to go for hills. Its 1000x2 motors... and a short similar commute. We disconnected the front motor to test and with only 1 motor it really lags on the heavier grades 20%+, so i'd say 1500w-2000w is really the way to go for hills. The battery is 18000ah and good for a few round trips.
Is it true the A8 is for taller riders and the 177 if for shorter riders? And what’s the difference between the 48v and 52v?? Please I’m looking to purchase promptly.
Twke the rear derailleur hanger off and straighten it its only that what looks bent
Mad props for going through all these bad areas not giving a fk...you earned a top level hood pass, plus your reviewed are spot on....this bike u reviews won't have many sales I don't think..
They sent you someone elses return 😂
Oh man now im super worried about delivery
Aniioki A8 or Wallke H6 max which is the better buy I’m 6’3 btw just wanted a little input lol
beautiful city 🤣
Gas is $3.33 per gal in Missouri. Is it the taxes that makes it so high there? The orange car you asked about is a De Tomaso Pantera.
Annioki a8 pro or eahora juliet for food delivery ?
Is there any possible way to show someone that's shorter sit on your ebikes? Or maybe say what the lowest seat height is? Unfortunately, I'm quite a bit shorter than you. Otherwise great videos!
I know I don’t want one of those!
How wide is the bike? Measuring from the widest point of the handles
It would be great to see solid-state batteries hit the market for e-bikes and e-moto bikes, this would cut the weight by 50%, and have room to expand battery pack size, giving ranges of 2k + !!!
Probably another 3 to 4 years years or more
My only concern with aniioki is repairing costs
I live in canada and some replacement parts/accessories cost $500(???) to ship or will not ship here at all
everytime I ask CS about this they ghost me
but other than that, 1km and 0 issues on my aq177, not looking forward to having to repair it eventually
Love the reviews. Man I'm glad I don't live in ca
😂 Bike thief cameo
what happens to these bikes after your videos?
welcome to los santos crazy scary how gta v is like here like crazy a lot of teh same areas and shops etc locations
Stop sign means S T O P.
👍👍
I bet they could do better about the range of the e bikes plus the peddling part is tricky and doesn't make sense. You should've got an exchange with that bike.
7.29 for gas 🙈🤨😩? Wow
Do you have extra battery size 48v 13 AH
Oh man, seeing all those cool bikes in these videos really hurts, when you cant import anything above 250w and 20mph limit.
