Does the difficulty scaling still turn into a cliff around level 4? (Whichever one increases damage.) Damage is kind of the most _directly_ impactful enemy stat to adjust, due to the clever mechanic where enemies speed up until they hit you. It makes some of the minibosses basically impossible, the samurais will race you down but only attack when they're right next to you, so there's no time to escape their next hit. Ded. Even regular enemies are a little too good at pushing through your cloud of summons, so some of that boosted damage is inescapable. I like the fire worms that combo with the fire demon. The synergies are real nice. It's also fun to go Goblins and Skeletons, and pick up the artifacts that lower the rarity of the shop. Just bury enemies in fast, healthy, tier 3 summons. I forget what button opens the tree, but it works at any time, which I love.
I’m not sure about the difficulty clif. I do know this games gets hard quick lol. I also like how there are multiple summons that work well with other summons. Makes it easy to make good teams. You do need more tanky summons with knockback to stop bosses at some point.
Whats your favorite summon to use and why? Mine is the slime cause I like having tons of gold to buy everything I want lol.
i think the mushrooms are cool because they do those range hits.
I like those guys because they give move speed lol
