I know about that, and I have heard some of the soundtrack for it and while some of the tunes sound good, the rest just sound lackluster like the person who did the music only used one single instrument and none of the Genesis'/Mega Drive's other musical capabilities, such as the synthetic guitar that we commonly associate with the Mega Drive.
This is the most covered song in the series yet no one has done a proper "what would capcom make it sound like if it was made during the SNES era" cover... great work
...And we have it -- an arrangement of the Dr. Wily Stage 1 from Mega Man 2 that is definately even better than the original! Excellent work. I like this.
Imagine if Mega Man 12 was a throwback to Mega Man 2 and this was the soundtrack. I mean, the original soundtrack was catchy, but this slaps so hard. Also this sounds like something a rock band or a DJ would play at a concert
after hearing all of your remakes of classic Megaman tunes with SNES sounds, I can't decide which style I enjoy listening to more - yours or LegendOfRenegade's with his Sega Genesis sounds in his remakes. You're both so epic lol! And this one was REALLy epic!
I guess its okay to like both, I like both my version and Renegades, the only thing that can make this remake even more epic is adding reverb effects like in most SNES themes.
BuddyBoy600alt Available exclusive on your Super Famicom cartridge (JP, S. America, EU, AU) and streaming only on Super Nintendo USA and Canadian satellites service channel.
Even though I'm not a big fan of the megaman 7 soundtracks, there's something about your music that makes these songs just amazing. This is my favorite remake. The megaman 7 soundfront makes the songs sound really good.
Don't mind him, hes still new to this sort of thing, I'm not even sure if he understands both terms, even if we try to explain it to him, he is one of those individuals that believes his facts are always right.
you're free to express yourself, to tell you the truth, the song is overrated however it is considered the best Megaman theme in the entire series, on the other hand Megaman 10 Wily stage 1 is now considered my favorite theme over Megaman 2 Wily Stage 1 - 2
I don't like the MM7 soundfont all that much (Got some great tracks in the game, though). You, my friend, are a complete GODDESS when it comes to making remakes of other MM songs and putting them in MM7 style!
most of the songs were Midi inspired, but i spent 2 hours trying to put the song together to match the original song in fl studios, I am a beginner. By the way nice name.
NateMon Gaming Thank you very much, I like Renegades version much better than mine, this version is a good except it is missing the echo effects that most Snes songs have. Sometime this week I will upload a version 2 of this remake.
One of, if not, the best songs in all of gaming, or ever. I could listen to this for hours and not get bored. How the hell did it nor make it into Smash Ultimate
Okay...obviously you're not even listening there is a difference between a remix song and a remake song... I would be glad to give you a definition of the two but I would be wasting my time, I'll let you figure it out lol... you may not be happy with the result, however nobody cares.
I have plans for remaking the top best songs from the classic video games but for now I'm concentrating on finishing all the original Megaman Soundtracks, I'll keep Vampire Killer in mind because it is my favorite song from Castlevania.
A Remix is someones reimagining of the song to make it sound different from the original, a Remake just redoes the original track with newer instruments. a Demake is the exact opposite, making the track with lesser hardware. Learn the terms well, and perhaps someday you will understand the difference.
8 gets unfairly shafted in my opinion. Maybe it's just nostalgia, since I owned it as a kid and it was my first Mega Man, but I think 8 was actually a good game. It just had terrible voice acting (which let's be fair, a *LOT* of video games at the time had bad voice acting, it wasn't really until "Metal Gear Solid" they started taking story seriously), some poor stage elements, and that last boss is only hard because E-tanks aren't a thing. If the developers hadn't been put off by the backlash it got for not being on a Nintendo console, they could've improved on their mistakes and continued the series into the next generation like they did with the X series.
Wow, 100th comment already? ... Not like anybody cares, though. So, let's get this straight about those conversations (I know theses were from long ago, but I like making points here and there, so I just HAD to say something about theses): SuperGoku14 I understand that you may think this song is overrated, but at least it has a reason to be. It's actually one of the most recognizable songs in the entire game (alongside the Title Screen, Air Man's stage theme, Metal Man's stage theme and even Heat Man's stage theme), so it's pretty normal that it would be so loved. I understand that you have an opinion, but please at least try to understand that this song has enough reason to be as overrated as it is. SpiralPegasus I understand that you prefer LegendofRenegade's MegaDrive/Genesis remakes, but to me it's the contrary: I prefer theses SNES remakes. However, I respect your opinion, because those Genesis/MegaDrive remakes are still pretty cool. Saying all the SNES fanboys always compare the SNES to the Genesis and making the SNES looks better is kinda wrong, seeing as how I'm also a SNES fanboy, yet I still think the Genesis remakes deserves some love and are still almost as good as theses ("almost", because I'm still kind of a fanboy, but at least it's better than just "the SNES ones are WAY better than the Genesis ones!"). (Also, some of theses "SNES fanboys", like me for example, could still sound honest by saying that, while they prefer the SNES, they don't have anything against the Genesis... however, I understand that you don't like the fanboys who just says "this console is better than this other console", because that's how I feel, myself: I also dislike those people who thinks something is WAY superior to something else because of their own opinions)
Wow. Just listening to this makes me wish the NES Mega Man games had been remade for the SNES.
Rockman Megaworld :)
Flaming Marshmallow good lord let it be already the yamaha chip on genesis was a neutered piece of crap.
Should be considered Rockman SUPERWORLD in Japan
1, 2, and 3 were remade for the Genesis
This is one of the best remixes of this song I've heard, and let's face it, there are a lot of them out there!
Bean1227 I agree strongly.
Could anyone imagine if this tune played in MM7's Wily Fortress as a throwback?
*_YES, YES, SO VERY MUCH YES! Someone PLEASE make a ROM hack that does exactly that!_*
Nahhh...it wouldn't fit or set the proper mood of Bass's betrayal.
Second Wily Stage theme, then.
Sure, but I wouldn't be willing to sacrifice any of the ones we got.
@@ryanschmidt3913 I really never saw "it" in Wily Stage 1, so that's where we gonna put it.
I'd love to see MM7-style versions of the NES games.
Nice profile pic
The wily wars.....
That's why they did The Wily Wars on Genesis.
Probably the best version of this theme I've ever heard. And given the number of remixes there are of this, that's saying a lot.
I don't know... the ps1 remix goes harder than this one does.
I'm hard pressed to name a better video game soundtrack, and what a sweet rendition.
This is the most covered song in the series yet no one has done a proper "what would capcom make it sound like if it was made during the SNES era" cover... great work
"hopefully these tiles won't be as overused as the music..."
MegaMan Maker
The tiles are either stone, steel walls, bricks. Diarrhea covered walls, diarrhea water, dirty grey bricks, and purple.
And I thought this theme couldn't anymore epic then it was, but, you made it beyond epic, excellent. keep up the awesome work.
...And we have it -- an arrangement of the Dr. Wily Stage 1 from Mega Man 2 that is definately even better than the original! Excellent work. I like this.
This is one of the best versions of Wily Stage 1 & 2 that I've heard on UA-cam. Excellent work!
thanks ^_^
The best song in mega man in mm7 form
Jesus, how could this NOT be a crowdpleaser?
The guitar 🎸 was a bit much though.
I imagine Mega Man's music would be rock music, so guitar is fitting.
#1: I'm not a fanboy, in fact, I love his Genesis remixes.
#2: Is it not possible to love both?
Let's just end it with that and not start a war.
Oh, the lovely details you didn't miss
So we're all agreed this is the jam slaps harder than anythign else.
Imagine if Mega Man 12 was a throwback to Mega Man 2 and this was the soundtrack. I mean, the original soundtrack was catchy, but this slaps so hard. Also this sounds like something a rock band or a DJ would play at a concert
Awesome job! I love the MM7 sounds too, the Intro stage theme from MM7 is probably my favorite of all the pre-X series :)
Using SNES samples. This is very cool.
Flawless victory.

This is a good song for traveling while listening to this.
WOW, THIS IS INCERDIBLE! It is my favorite song ever in mega man
Before i Heard MM5's Soundtrack, This was my fav castle theme, too bad i never beat Quickman. :(
Honestly the older MM7 soundfont you used sounded better than the ones after MM4
Your remakes are simply stunning and amazing! keep it up!!! :D :D
Oh WAHW!!! As a mega man fan, (my favorite megaman games are MMX, MM7, and MM2) I just subscribed and liked.

I'd love to see the whole second Wily Castle redone in the MM7 engine
the fun you gave me is OKKUSENMAN!

At least in my opinion a good remake of 8 bits to the 16 bits c:
Great remix of my third favorite Mega Man 2 song. It's awesome. The song in general is pretty good but there are two others I like better.
+Curiosity Man THE DESTINY IS TORTURING ME, I SEE YOU *EVERYWHERE*

I felt a lot of felings 'cuz this is on of all my favorite videogame songs and i think that the SNES had the best music ever in 16 bits :')
You're almost at 100,000 views! Good job, the original is a *TOUGH* act to follow. 😃
Well done! This Remix does great justice!
Best remix of this
its so ... EPIC EEEEPPPPPPIIIIIIIICCCCCCCC

Bubbleman, Airman, Quickman, Heatman, Woodman, Metalman, Flashman and Crashman disliked dis 16-bit masterpiece
Holy shit awesome.

Thank you very much. ^.^
Um... that was Genesis and this is SNES... hard to compare two different instrument sets, and two entirely different systems at that.
Sounds like MMX1. Which is great.
thank you ^.^
Outstanding *-*
I wish that when you hold the down button on wily stage 1, you get this theme.
*THIS IS AMAZING!!!*
When you thought Wily Stage 1-2 from MM2 Could not get any better !
Great job!

nice job but im gonna get some hate on this but I like the remixed 16 bit version better than the original but I still like the original a lot
That damn dragon
Yeah, Midi Inspired songs, thanks
So, did you make all these? They're awesome!
I'm working on a megaman-like game. Would you like to adapt the music to 16-bit snes? we already have compositions
Cool, that would be nice, honestly this old version definitely needs a revision, but go ahead.

Wily Wars should've been on SNES.
I made my own version of this theme in MM7 style as well!
nice work :)
are you made it ?
where did you get the soundfont?
1.03 pitch Sound?
How is it not? Sure, it may have been done with Mega Man 7 soundfront, but since it isn't the original, that still technically counts as a remix.
The Snakes are coming.
WE NEED 16 BIT MEGAMAN 1-6, 9, AND 10 NOW!
i love the 8 bit style D: It wouldn't be the same
Shingeki no Deathnote you’d still have the 8 bit versions to go back to.
What about 8, that was 32 bit not 16 bit.
JCBro2014 honestly I don’t care about mega man 8. It may not be 16 bit, but it ain’t 8 bit.
