This song will forever bring tears to my eyes. I'll never forget getting to this stage and hearing this, knowing that I was responsible for making mega man succeed. It was beautiful.
In more ways than one. Mega man 2 is the reason the series took off if you and so many other people didn’t buy or play the game. The mega man franchise wouldn’t be the gigantic series it is now. He may not have even made it to smash. And you also got to beat the crap out of Dr. Wily and help Mega man complete his mission.
It just perfectly fits the setting and the point of the game. Seeing Mega Man running under an open blue sky toward the entrance of Wily's fortress having defeated all the robot masters.
I remember I was 14 in freshman year of high school when ssbwii u came out and I listened to this track so many times 0:33 was my favorite part man good times
Jesus. I had to be maybe 5 the first time I heard the original back on the NES watching my cousin play Mega Man 2 in 1990-91. Then when I finally got my own copy, I had to play through the whole game just to jam to it. This version slaps so hard, brings tears to my eyes.
@@Mr.Smiley_J the song is about Mega Man, though? It's about how it inspired him to want to be a hero, even wistfully daydreaming about wanting to do it as an adult, lost in life.
@@killertrip10 it's about Ultraman. You know how he says "Ultraman Ultramam Seven." The song is about being nostalgic for days long past, remember his friends and acting out Ultraman with the spoons in his eyes and his arms in the shape of an L. Never once did they mention MegaMan.
A música do Wood Man tbm é boa pra caramba, para mim as melhores músicas dos jogos de MegaMan: WoodMan, MetalMan and Wily Stage1 do MegaMan 2. Eu gosto de várias outras, mas para mim essas são as q estão no topo.
I kinda wanna see a Clone Hero chart for this version of the stage. I gotta imagine it would be murder to play. Also, I feel like I’m about to lose my hearing everytime I listen to this because I just H A V E to crank it loud, which is a horrible idea, but it’s such a good song.
Most battle pic of Luke vs. Ace. Before the fight, you'd expect the two to be a little hostile towards each other due to the fact that they share a common goal: To attract girls. But... you'd be wrong. The two wished each other the best of luck, and were ready to start the fight

extremely based reference
That part of the trailer where Mega Man throws the Metal Blades at Mario and Link was pretty dope
This part of the melody is so good.
Yay
But..You didn't specify a ti- oh.. I get it.

God, I love Mega Man.
One of if not the best megaman songs
what the hell is that high "boop boop boop" panned into the right ear that plays after the first loop of the bridge every time
Probably a reference to the leaf shield weapon sound effect from Megaman 2. That’s all I can think of.
Oh yeah that’s odd. I think it’s one of the weapon sounds tho

How did this not make the cut for Ultimate?

Based... but the strange context of it being on Mega Man's theme specifically makes it read like the quote is... a metaphor for Dr. Light?!
mega man: awesome gameplay and music nintendo: lets go with the plumber.
What do you even mean by that
@@DestroyerOfAglets He means Nintendo favors Mario (who's an Italian plumber) over Megaman.
@@warriorwatch2406 obviously, Mario is Nintendo's flagship franchise, and MegaMan isn't even a Nintendo game???? How is that even a fair comparison
