- Today is my last day in this fascinating city of Ipoh but I’m not leaving until I learn more about the local culture. The best way to learn ones culture is to eat the food and that’s exactly what I will do today. I will sample the local bean curd, eat the beef Char Keuy Tow, and then for dessert indulge on the traditional biscuits! Wow a day full of eating and culture! Join me on this gastronomic adventure today and don't forget to subscribe to my channel for more exciting Hussmeister adventures! If you have any questions about my Malaysia vlog, please comment below and I will get back to you. Enjoy! #malaysia #ipoh #perak #foodie #taufufa

Wife's biscuit is given to relatives and friends to inform them of impending wedding. Some biscuits like Kaya Puffs are uniquely Malaysian.
Awesome thank you for explaining the story behind the Wife Biscuit 🙏🏽The Kaya Puffs look very different in style to the other biscuits so for them to be uniquely Malaysia makes sense to me.
Thanks for showing us around Ipoh. I never really hear about Ipoh much as a tourist destination. Looks like a really foodie place
No problems at all. Make sure you try the biscuits when in Ipoh or if you come across them anywhere else in the world. In Australia they would be classified as pastries.
You should have taken :
1. Oven baked pau bun
2. Hiong peng biscuit which ipoh is famous for.
I will keep these recommendations in mind for my next Ipoh visit. Thank you for telling me ☺️
Wow you really did eat alot today! The biscuits look tasty but not sure about the beancurd
There is no other way to lesrn about the culture. Look at the interactions I had around the food ☺️✌️
Kedai means shop. Kedai biskut = biscuit shop.
Jalan sehala = one way street.
Yes I figured this out afterwards after Googling the words 😂
yeah mann🎉
Bro I ate too much that day in Ipoh 😂 That’s why I csme back to KL to eat more healthy 😂
Yes ipoh food is just as good as penang.
Maybe I prefer Ipoh a little bit more than Penang ☺️
The master of pastries & bakeries 🤩 in his element - nice work Sam 👌✔️👋😎🙏
Thanks mate. I hope I don’t regret it later on in life 😂 ✌️
I love it when nature strikes back...even if it is very slowly. 😅 It's like looking into the future. Thanks for the videos. ✌🏻
Glad to see tou are enjoying the videos. Stay tuned for more 😎
🤙🆒😎
Hello my friend 👋🏼 thank you. I had a great time in Ipoh ☺️
How great is it to travel with such flexibility?! I can only wish 😂 Enjoy!
It’s actually great when you have no set plans. I really wanted to stay in Ipoh but if I didn’t jump on that train I could have been stuck for a looong time 😎
Ipoh is one of the foodies paradise in Malaysia. It's been voted as one of the most underrated tourist spot in Malaysia too. After that revelation over the Internet, it's now a booming city for foreign tourists. Back then, the place was mostly filled with local tourists. How things have changed!😅😊
Hello friend 👋🏼 I totally agree with you. Ipoh has alot of potential and the prices are very reasonable. I must admit that the tourists I saw were mainly local. When I told my friends that I visited Ipoh they did not know where it is. I hope that Ipoh’s popularity grows in the future ☺️✌️
Yummy biscuits! I would stay in a room above a biscuit shop. 😋❤❤❤
It’s dangerous…they are equivelent to pastries 😂
Where can I find the wife biscuit in Melbourne? ☺️
Good question. I’m guessing Chinatown in Melbourne should have it. But i’ll have to double check ✌️
Ookay, extend your arm out when filming yourself have food! Up too close isn’t great to us viewers, I don’t think 😂
Been following you since Taiwan, think I’m free to speak my mind 😂
😂 I find it kind of funny broadcasting myself out to the world with crumbs all over my face
LOL yeah…no offence taken…I laugh at myself too
