- I got a couple of Zoologist samples through the post today, so here are my first impressions of the first wear of Moth, a dense, dark, fragrance full of smoke and grim filth.

I’m wanting to order some samples from Zoologist! Their fragrances seem so complex! So fun to try and figure out what story the perfumer is trying to express through scent. I love that! Thanks for another review, Ben!

Tried them all and moth and hyrax are the ones I paid full retail for. No regrets I love them. Moth more. It takes me to good places and sexy places
100% agree, I've really grown to love Moth since sampling it. I haven't tried Hyrax yet, but so far this house is 3 for 3 with me (Moth, Dragonfly and Hummingbird) so I'll definitely be sampling as many as I can and probably bankrupting myself shortly after lol.
Is For you a dark and gothic? Smokey? Is similar to?
The opening is pretty harsh and very smokey. Into the heart and base though, it’s so pretty. The opening is like the ugliness of the end of the moths life, then it’s in rewind.
ha yes, almost exactly my thoughts, the opening nearly tore my face off and I was really shocked how pretty it gets in the mid!
Dragonfly is so much nicer. I got a bottle. But the original. Not the new version

Nah, you should grab some samples. Every one I've smelt has been pretty on point. The filthier side of zoologist is probably only really 1 or 2 scents in their entire lineup and they've got a rep for being challenging from that imo.

Noo not true, some are very weird, some are nasty but others are very unique but nice. I highly suggest sampling . If you’re new to Niche. This perfume house if not for you.
