You are so lucky to have such a friend, Yana! Even if she doesn't like the smell she describes her feelings in a positive way. I launched a little perfume club in my city but most of the people who come to the meetings just keep maliciously criticizing everything I bring for them to smell. Even though I never let them smell really challenging fragrances((

Truth is that as you expose yourself to more unusual perfume you come to appreciate them. My test is if my husband says ‘something’s burning’ I have gone too far. Le labo patchouli was a bit like that although I liked it. Most zoologist are really wearable.

hahah I was waiting for Tonnerre reaction! I LOVE tonerre, I think it's one of my all time top perfumes, but that opening.. wow.. it's 110% brutality! Very difficult imo 😂

@@Tommelise haha yeah, I think it has a small window for about 30 minutes before the smoke really goes crazy where it smells quite nice, but after that it gets pretty out there! Have you smelt Rake & Ruin by Beaufort? I think it's got some elements similar to Tonnerre, but it's much more wearable and very gentlemanly! It's all smoke, dirty leather and tobacco, quite refined! (btw I'm always stopping by, your one of my favourite reviewers!)
She had the same reaction I had to Bat 🤣 when I first took the cap off my cat came running thinking it was a treat for him...he literally gagged after taking a sniff of it. I appreciate Bat because it does indeed smell like a dank cave, but I will never put it on my skin again.

Tommelise thank you Yana. I tried Nuit de Bakélite before and it is indeed very grassy. I think I tried Rausch as well, I don’t remember the scent very clearly, but I got a feeling that it was an amber based one. 🌹

I like chameleon from Zoologist but doesn't last more then 2 hours,at least on my skin...and i put a lot so..i don't know :( for an extrait i find it light..
