I love when Kayla feels nervous about changing the rules to a challenge she gave herself. Babe who is gonna be mad? Who is holding you accountable? No one. You are the boss. It is ok.
Yessss so true!!! She keeps making videos that have rules and thinks that she NEEDS to follow the rules. It’s okay to change the rules once in a while especially if she’s already done a video similar.
You know that you can put the seperated oven and stove top from dream home decorator in that counter and it still functions as a counter right? Because then you have a completely functional kitchen in 2 tiles😉. Love youre videos by the way!❤️
@@toxxicx But you can put the tiny separate oven from Dream. Home Decorator (the one that looks like a microwave or toaster) on top of the small fridge from university and then put the stove top on the counter and your sims will use the stove as a counter top. So you have a fridge, a stove, a counter and an oven in two tiles! :)
To make this more functional: - add dream home decorator separate stove on top of the counter. Your sims can cut and cook in 1 space -shouldve put curtain over the bathroom to act like a door. Also we can fit a sink, a shower, and a toilet in 1 tile only - add tv on top with the bunk bed, your sim can watch it while lying on bed Thats just my take. Overall a nice house!
random but i am about to upload my shell challenge to the gallery… this is one of my first builds in the sims so it’s kind of bad, but i found it soo relaxing and i had so much fun building it. thank you for this awesome challenge, lilsimsie!! :)
As far as I'm concerned, if you can put anything like grills and dining and a shower outside, you can get away with very little indoors. It would be interesting to see you do a reverse furnishing house: all the plants inside and all the furniture outside. Not sure how functional it would be, especially during storms, but it could be interesting.
I just wanna say that I have been following you for over 4 years. You are such an inspiration to me and have been since I first saw one of your videos. Thank you for helping me over the years. 👋
Not me just yelling at Kayla through the screen to use the dream home decor oven and stovetop, it functions still as a counter and it would get in an oven, stove, AND counter all in one.
It would be fun to see limited tile challenges in different shapes too like 9 tiles but you can’t make it a square. Or a certain amount of tiles but you have to use a specific amount of diagonal walls too idk
I did this a few days ago and I put an oven from dream home decorator on the one counter it means you can use the kitchen fully and arent restricted to food that you cant cook
Hi Lil Simsie! I love your videos! I don’t know if you love princess diaries or not, but what do you think about trying to make her converted fire station home in The Sims 4? Thank you for reading!
This kinda looks like the beginning of every legacy challenge that I start before I have the money to build a proper house but still want my sims to have essentially
Okok hear me out so since there’s back to school season in like a month or so your could do like a little like “dorm village” thing like the way colleges have dorms but these are outside and more of a village with tiny houses and then a little hangout-ish area in the middle
Can’t you put the dream home decorator oven AND stove top on the Sam counter (using move objects) and still have it function as a counter ? Or am I wrong on that
I never really comment your videos, but this building was just ✨amazing✨ and I love it so much so I needed to let you know - one of your non-simmer viewers
You should get your cat a fake laptop. Apperently they like to imitate so it might be a way for your cat to feel involved without being so involved. 😺💻
Even though Simsie has done a ton of micro homes she always forgets that sims will still use a counter if the electric stove top from Dream Home Decorator is placed on it. Cant bake anything but all other cooking options are available.
I really wish the Tiny Living pack came with a toilet/sink combo. They're super eco-friendly too cause the water is recycled and are popular in Japan (I think)
I live in Japan and have a sink/toilet combo, but I don't really use it because you can't use soap with it...which I find kinda nasty. But lots of people in Japan just rinse their hands in the sink toilet without soap as long as they're doing #1 only...of course...in the sims that doesn't matter though.
a tip for a tiny functional kitchen is to put a mini fridge and a counter next to each other. Then put the tiny oven from Dream Home decorator on top of the fridge, and the countertop electrical stove from that pack on the counter. That way, the counter is still functional, and it’s a stove. You can also put a dishwasher in the counter.
You can just put the oven from DHD underneath the stove, don't need the countertop one at all. People always seem to think that you can't place them together but you can. Might have to use moveobjects to place it, but both are fully functional when placed together. I use them like that all the time.
Ahh, as a tiny home veteran I was so upset she didn't get a laptop so sims can pick between using it or using the table for something else, not putting a tv across the pillow so sims can watch it in bed, not realizing you only need one tile of the bed for it to function and just how far you can shove things into walls 😂 PAIN
I have a fun challenge for you! Make a full family house (master bedroom w/ en suite, kids rooms, office, bathroom, kitchen, patio, backyard, etc.) BUT every room has to be three by three, even the backyard. I think it would be interesting to she the shell layout you come up with and the layout of the house! You choose whether it’s a one story or two! I’d love to see you try this! ❤️
I've been making alot of micro homes lately, and the small wall mount TV is perfect for up on the wall across from the top bunk. They can still watch it and get fun / skill gains that way.

@@PositivelyNice normally it really does! you can even see in this vid at 4:22 that her sim placed the cutting board on top of the mini fridge :p i use it all the time for tiny homes
I once made a 4x4 home w/o moveobjects & long before tiny living. Small wall tv over the stove. Bed acting as couch to watch the tv. A counter or two in between bed and stovevision. Wall bookshelf. Somehow still enough room for computer and separate bathroom. Theoretically never had to go outside thanks to the bills pop-up.
You can actually put a wall on one side of the 1x1 bathroom instead of using a divider. That way you can use the small fridge with oven on top since you don't need to cover/hide the bathroom anymore. You can also make the bathroom 1step lower to add more "realism".
i think it would be interesting for kayla to try a HUGE build with tons of tiles, especially because she always talks about how smaller is better. i don’t know how many tiles minimum would be considered “very large,” so if anyone has a good idea about that let me know. i’d also say the challenge works like the tiny home challenges where porches/flat ceilings aren’t allowed! (it can be multiple floors, but i mean like the actual ceiling should be of roofs rather than layers)
This is the first thing I do in almost every game. They always end up consisting of multi-story buildings with huge apartments built around communal spaces. It'd be perfect if only I could designate lot as mixed residential/retail. Another variant is a row of townhouses that are always way too big for the number of Sims living in it. Of course, I'm not nearly as creative. The largest lot in Newcrest is 50x40. You can go 4 floors up and 4 down not counting the free floor within a roof/fenced open air. My math (which might be off) comes to about 16,000 tiles if you bring the structure and any patios to the near-edge of the lot. I would say a huge lot is about half that, but it might be an interesting challenge to use as many tiles as possible. Also, tried using the Tiny House setting to count the tiles, but they max at 999.
