For those following along at home I think the instructions are: Set timer for 12 minutes Fan/Heat/Duration 9/5/2 8/5/1 7/5/1 6/5/5 Cool 3 minutes If your coffee stops tumbling when you drop to 6, kick back up to 7 for 30 seconds to a minute then move to 6 fan. Dont add extra time to your clock for this action
If you were going to 2nd crack would you just continue to lower the fan? Is it OK to make adjustments during 1st crack or is it better to let it finish first?
It's fine to make adjustments during 1st or 2nd crack, but if I adjust during 2nd crack I'll typically reduce the heat or increase the fan, so as not to fly too quickly through 2nd crack and wind up darker than intended. If you want to go into 2C, just increase the heat earlier in the roast to accelerate through the middle stages of the roast.
@CoffeeBeanCorralOfficial awesome. Thank you. If you were roasting a natural what would you do different? What batch size would you recommend for the sr540 and extension tube? Thanks again. I have a million questions.
Very informative, can't wait to try my new extension tube!

Go Razzo😊
We don't have one of those aftermarket extension tubes, but I've heard good things! How does it compare vs. the OE tube in our video?
@@CoffeeBeanCorralOfficial with the razzo and a 540 I am able to roast 220 grams so able to do a pound in 2 roasts
