I feel like you covered everything quite well. I have a better idea of where to start now. You mentioned some top secret projects those would be pretty cool to see. Maybe if there's equipment you've made or modified maybe you can show that ? Maybe you could talk about what type of bars to get ? Or maybe how to make do with less equipment while you build up your home gym. I enjoy watching your videos so keep up with the frequent uploads cause it is appreciated. GZCL BOI
Hi Cody. I'm just starting your gzcl method. Its week 2 only. I like it, but I have a question. I deadlift 2 times per week, Saturday deadlift (conv) as tier 1 movement and Tuesday as tier 2 movement (snatch deadlift). Its sometimes hard for me to get into the right position, especially on last sets my ass starting to shoot up before i move the bar. Do you think snatch deadlift will help me proper positioning (because i start much lower than usual) or i should better switch it with another conv deadlift and practice movement more often?
I think anything that will improve your ability to hinge through a fuller range of motion would help. TBH, more normal deadlifting, just from the floor, normal grip, etc., but with a load that permits perfect form in the T2 will help. Supplement your T3 with things like single leg DB RDL's, very light good mornings (with perfect form, even toes up on plates helps). Stuff to improve your hinge pattern will improve your deadlift position. For more info on hinge-type stuff check out Dan John.
I had one in it last year, you'll see it in some of the Cabin Fever videos. Unfortunately due to insurance purposes the wood stove had to go. Sad days. Fortunately for me the air is a bit cleaner in the garage (and I don't have to split wood between sets...)
Be careful when buying used. A lot of items on Ebay are selling used for very slightly less than or sometimes even more than new. Also sometimes thing are being sold for "parts only", which means they don't work. Honestly, if you are just starting your home gym, start with a good weight set, bench and squat rack.Use it for a few months and see if you feel you really need the rest of that crap. Most people don't.

I've always wanted a home gym. Thanks for the tips.
What would you like to see covered if I missed it, or more in depth?

Great ideas on making due and equipment modifications. I'll see what I can do about the TS gainzwerqs though.
So nice to see this kind of content :)
I was about to murder you for the top secret cable thing. Glad I stayed for "you can use a GHD however the Fuck you want if you own it"
Would be cool to see how you utilize the TRX. I've always discounted them as gimmicky, but if you use them then I must be missing something. Thanks!
Working on the video!
Highest gym in America party!!!
Epic gym my dude

Mile-high gym 💪
Cody I think you need a fireplace in your garage gym to round things out.

Agree. That's what I say in each Home Gym video I've made.
I GOT THE FEVER
WE NEED TO SEE THE CABLE DOODAD.
It's not ready yet.
I’m ashamed to say that I didn’t hear anything you said from 1:46 to 2:01.
LMAO
💪💪😂😂😂😂🤟
Why'd you move there?
Cause I'm from Colorado and enjoy the mountains.
Because it's awesome!

Dude, you've been skipping too many burritos. Lookin thin. I'd recommend to spend a season at Chihuahua Mexico. Might even heal your hip!
Conditioning Hike & Update explains the skinny. Definitely been downing tons of steak, so at least I'm doing something right.
Man, you ain't got no home.
Yes I do. It's a log cabin.
Man, that ain't no Log Jammin.
