You can avoid the unevenness if you get a transplant that is continuous and not gapped like you did. I got 5000 from front to top no space in between so that way I can style it short or long and it will all look even. My crown will need other operation later but I’m happy they focused on keeping my transplanted area together as one area
@@gustavalbericchidurocher9764 no. That is important, but you misunderstood what I’m saying here. If some one getting transplant to the front and the crown, they are leaving the native hair in the middle, which can thin out over time causing uneven hair from transplanted to native.
@@HookahDoncic98 I see that a lot aswell - a lot of doctors focus on both temples/hairline and crown, leaving the middle without even some dozens of transplanted grafts. Thats something to be adressed. Btw, don't you think it may have to do with both removing and storing the follicle on its original direction and later on implanting it on whichever direction the originals on that part were?
This long hair pampadour style (or whatever its called) look really good on you, much better than when you cut it short. And I might be wrong but it seems you dye your hair darker right? I feel its counterintuitive but it would look denser and more natural when it's lighter coz then the bold spots and the white skin below will not instantly pop from the contrast.
hey ED! thanks! Yeah you are right about the contrast thing but I haven´t colored my hair since the last 3-4 months or even more. I think it is just lighting this time.
@@letsgethair I think that is just the hair transplant. Hair colour fades with age from top to sides, but for your new hair, it will take longer to fade. That's why a lot of black hair transplants look like dyed hair.
Hi man! love your vids, you have a complete information about this hole process. I did my hail transplant 9 months ago, and was pretty happy about it, 2500 grafts in the front side of the head. This period, march-april i did observe hair thining and got a little bit panicked. I used Minoxidil the whole period, and did PRP after the implant, but now the hair is thin, and i decidedto use dermaroller also. I started use haifibers also and my question is... I use minoxidil once a day, and after 4 5 hours i wash my hair to get rid of it. I shampoo wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week. The question: Is it ok to wash the hair everyday to eliminate the minoxidil? And the second question: I guess the fibers are not too harmfull for the hair, and is it also necesarry to wash the hair after using microfibers?
I think it also depends on the density of the remaining area. Unfortunately, the thick donor hair once grown out will be much more dominant in appearance compared to the weaker zones. That's just my opinion though. Do you think it matters how the hair was actually transplanted by the surgeon - the actual orientation I mean?
Absolutely, after seeing many many transplants. You can absolutely tell a transplant from natural hair, If its done too thick and perfect in its direction.
Hey buddy how are you.. it's been 5 months since I got my hair transplant.. what paste brand and hairspray do you recommend. Also for whatever reason I get somewhat of white hair on my front area which was the transplanted area... What can I use to color that area and make it darker.. any advice will be very helpful thank you
Great video Matt! You should do a video or photo with your hair styled slicked back with gel or a paste, like Michael Douglas in the film Wall Street, with your transplanted hair long and looking great now I’m curious to how it would look covering and coverage the native hairloss mid area you have with it slicked back. :)
How long can a hair transplant grow?? Can you grow it as long as it used to be back when you were young. Like say, if i want to style my hair transplant like Harry Styles or Leonardo Di Caprio or etc.? Because i seem to see trend that hair transplant in google image or anywhere for that matter that they all look the same. They have the short hair style, granted the receding hairline is gone, but they seem to only have either gel small hair cut or on this video where you just spike it up with hair products. Thank you.
I'm done with my transplant 11 months all I want to know is what should I use for my hair to style it like wax or whatever you are using just to style it..what are products to use on my hair..want to know please suggest
Matt which oils that you used? My hair is not growing at all and I am planning go to Istanbul. Can you tell me which oil it's good for me. I need your advice. I need oil names 🖒
Moroccan Argan Oil is the best remedy for hair loss. I recommend it for you, for it is so helpful when it comes to getting your hair grow back, shine and look so natural.
Hello mate, Ive been going through your videos and i can say its some excellent advice. I wanted to know if Finasteride / Propecia is safe and if youve used it? What was your experience? Coming from a medical background I havent really heard good about it, do you recommend it or not ?
Hey, unfortunately I didn´t use it. I do not personally recommend it unless you have no other options and you want to maintain your hair no matter what
Hello mate, I have been using finasteride for almost a year after advised from my clinic after my hair transplant. It really helped me to maintain my own hair without losing them so I keep the balance between my transplanted and the existing hair. 💪🏻
Hey dude I'm just over a year after my hair transplant and am thinking about maybe getting another in a year's time to add density and to see if anymore hair falls out in that time. If and when do you think you will get your next transplant?
I went to Turkey, best rated place - They filled in my sides, and that hair is sticking RIGHT OUT! I can't get it to fold down or lay down, and my top left corner is the same, straight up. Did THEY fuck up or is this normal? Happy for any help - it's pissing me off I have to nearly go skin deep on the sides, I've always had a bit of hair on the sides due to head shape (picture is not me, it's a meme)
Short term not much would happen if you don´t take them but long term DHT will slowly make your hair follicles thinner and thinner so if you won´t block it in any way your hair will keep thinning faster.
Seeing photos and viewing videos, I've noticed that the follicule's implanting direction was a great predictor of how even the hair would look like and probably is the most important thing. Worringfully, it feels to me like only a few doctors really are ABLE to care about it. Most alarming, though, is that they all will say they care!! You have to pay attention on videos where they are in action: when they pick up the follicules and when they press the button to insert them, are they minding it? With the tools that are used right now, its understandingly hard not only to keep track of follicules direction, but also to achieve the hand control to implant them ALL on the desired direction. It is a very tiresome process anyway. So, I assume that your doctor implanted the grafts mostly on a direction that ended up making most grow upward - they are even, but not on its' natural direction. That seems to me to be one of the greatest challenges in HT rn.
exactly, I would recommend you to find a surgeon who does manual extraction instead of micromotor and also opens the channels on the recipient area by himself.
thank you so much for your response, was very helpful. it's so stressful trying to find the right place /doctors ect! I'm new here man and love your videos! did you have single hair grafts put at the front of hairline?
Dear Matt, thanjs for your videos, really nice. I have the same forehead shape and boldnes as you..i already had one hair transplant, but i am looking for another one in order to incteare density..
no need to do it if you are satisfied with how your hair looks like unstyled. But the longer your hair grows, the more it will require to be styled so it can look more clean. If you keep your hair fairly short after hair transplant I think there is no need to style it.
@@letsgethair Why do you not try to slightly, slightly bleaching the transplanted hair? like these spays that very slowly lighten your hair as if it was caused by the sun. Then it will look more like the other hair on top. Very delicately lighten it untill it's the same color.
Cool video...your hair is getting better & better, eventually!😃 Since you also do gym & stuff, I just needed to ask this, I haven't done any kind of workout before & I am planning to join a gym soon, So do certain kind of exercises impact hairloss in any way? Like, when you do workouts, I have read that our body produces testosterone to counteract & heal the damage done to the muscles, does that extra testosterone also lead to more DHT formation? I have seen your video that talks in this context but I still have this question.
No. Going to the GYM does not affect your hair in any means. The only reason why you see a lot of GYM guys that are bald is A: They are injecting muscle growth hormones or B: They simply joined the GYM to "compensate" their already bald look.
Bräts Pits well said! I also dont think that the "gym" will make you bald or any special exercises- no! keep working out and this will improve blood flow in your body which is a good thing for your scalp especially. The only thing that could speed up your hair loss could be if you really overdose on creatine like 5 and more grams a day on a regular basis. this is only proven thing that had something to do with hair loss but that´s it. Even if your testosterone levels will be little bit elevated during your workout, they will eventually fall down after you consume carbs after workout because the carbs will force your body to produce more insulin. Men, who work out on a ketogenic diet have normally more stable testosterone levels then men on a high carb diet becase their bodies don´t need to produce so much insulin and this will keep testosterone levels stable at high levels. If you do that for years maybe it will increase DHT formation but for normal gym guys who eat carbs regularly the testosterone levels won´t be that high all the time anyways.
If you are willing to keep taking care of your hair after hair transplant and minimize the further thinning of your hair in the future than yeah go for it.
