I’m fairly new to the Narrowboat vlogs, & stumbled on yours. I think I’m going subscribe, and yes, hit the notification bell. 😎 “Fair Winds & Smooth Sailing!”
The gentle mix of the sounds of the canal, the boat & music was just right! 👏🏻👏🏻. The only thing that puts me off living on the cut are the mosquitoes who ‘love’ me. I suppose I would be of public service to others though!!😆
Waiting for the boat to be finished is agonising so watching another lovely little cruise full of life and colour helps destress us both . Major thank you stay safe ATB George & Jenny .
Armitage tunnel having been opened brings to mind articles through the years about US railroad tunnels being 'daylighted' as it is termed. While there is a high short term cost to do the daylighting, the long term tunnel maintenance costs pretty much evaporate.
Love the different colours and styles of different boats also especially the insides also love cruising to I could easily settle on canals and live aboard life lol 😂 thanks again xx
You certainly sell the canal life to us wannabe boaters, still a dream at moment but coming up to Crick this month. Spending a few days with the camera as well as visiting Crick on the Friday, also have to deliver to a boater friend who has purchased one of my framed owl photos for his narrowboat. Then back up to Chester for a week in September to walk and photograph the canals any suggestions of places not to miss would be welcomed Regards
I would love to live on a narrow boat , but the only thing that puts me off is not having every convenience at hand ❗️and am I too old in my early 50's and alone ?
Hi Kayleigh and partner,I just love that colour green you used it lovely colour, when you say early start what time is that ,,have you thought any more about doing the Scottish canals? What part of Scotland are you from ,I think it the most beautiful part of the uk when we toured west cost i never knew it could be so pretty and the isles of sky absolutely stunning loved Luss as well ,yes it looks like a tunnel with no top to it absolutely stunning there is another one but a lot higher but can’t remember the name of the canal it’s on ,Kayleigh I’m so happy for you now you have a trusted partner hope he looks after you ,well till next time take care keep safe both of you ,John 👀🥂🌹🇬🇧🥵🥵🍷🤩😘😂⭐️⭐️⭐️
Am I correct in assuming that the white marks on the roof towards the stern are from previous solar panel brackets? Really like your vlogs, you Arte a natural and I like the way you get stuck into things you've never done.keep up the good work.
Beautiful Scenery and gardens along the way. What happens if you are half way up the last narrow bit and another boat is coming the other way? I didn't see any room to scrunch over. Have a Blessed day.
Hi Margaret the other boat would need to reverse most boaters would go and check to make sure before going through the tunnel 😊 thanks for your comment!
Yes. The tunnel roof collapsed at some point. Rather than repairing it, as it had several unsafe areas, it was cheaper to remove the whole roof of the old tunnel.

Thank you for answering the question I was just about to ask.
🙏I am forever in your debt.🙏😂👍😎
A house with a mooring at the end of the garden would be my dream, I suspect I'd spend 90% of the time on the boat!
I reckon you would Glynn 😊
You’re in the absolute best of company on that.
It’s the “Trifecta” of Narrow boating!
Love the different colours and styles of different boats also especially the insides also love cruising to I could easily settle on canals and live aboard life lol 😂 thanks again xx

A tunnel without a roof? , gorgeous video, thanks so much for your hard work 👍🏻
Lol it used to be a tunnel, the cruising guides still refer to it as a tunnel. Thank you so much for your lovely comment it means a lot!

With that colorful boat having "The Research Vessel Furor Scribindi" painted as its name the question arises, what might they be researching?
Hi Scott I’m not sure will need to look into it!
7am I didn't know there is two 7 o'clock in same day lol
Lol 😂
Great new views. Keep up the great video work
Thank you so much Bill 😊

The Armitage was it at one time a canal that collapsed?
Hi Barbara I’m not sure 😊

@@alisonlee3314 , Thank you!
Fantastic
Thank you 😊
Do you keep the fenders out on both side when going through such a narrow space?
Yes I think on this occasion we did 😊
If only I could, boats cost a lot of money that I dont have!
That’s true but so do houses!
Hi you don't seem to make so many vlogs anymore
👍👌🇨🇦❤
40 years ago maybe haha. Hope your teeth are all better now 👍
Haha Martin. Yes all good now, thanks 😊
