- THIS IS A 2008 NISSAN PATHFINDER (R51). I NOTICE THE MINOR LEAK DURING THE ENGINE COOL DOWN. IT WOULD SLOW LEAK ON THE PLASTIC CONNECTOR. THAT PARTICULAR PLASTIC CONNECTORS USUALLY LEAKS AFTER YEARS IN SERVICE. AND I NOTICED THE COOLANT RESERVOIR WAS A BIT LOW.
HOSE AND PLASTIC CONNECTOR ARE 3/4 INCH. - Навчання та стиль
Could just run a hose directly to the metal spigot? Without the plastic part?
Im eventually on a hunt for a metal instead of the plastic.
May I ask for the name of the hose that is right next to the right of the house you were working with?
The hose/tube that connects to the heat- hose outlet and curves going down.
I've been looking for it through car parts and without luck.
Hello i believe what you're talking about is the outlet hose assembly. I found it in www.rockauto.com under heat and air conditioning. GL
where did you get the plastic connector? part#?
I got it from autopart store (lordco autoparts) here where i live. Soo, yeah depends where you live. The size is in the video description. GL
What size rubber hose did you use that attached to the firewall? And the plastic connector what is it called? What a great fix!
I believed that was 3/4 inch hose and also the plastic piece. Cheerz

No necesitas el adaptador. Conecta la manguera directo.
My heater hose just connects to the inlet/outlet
Sounds like someone did a by-pass. Do you ever use your heater?
@minutemenapparel1539 I did once because it looked like my engine was getting hot, worked find. It's not a by pass they just grabbed the hose, removed the broken parts, and attached the hose.
@@jpadilla0515 oh I see what you mean, thought you were saying there was a hose connecting the inlet to the outlet so it loops.
@@jpadilla0515 I wonder why there’s even any sort of fitting and not directly connecting the hose onto the inlet and outlet. Just another failure point esp since it’s plastic from factory.

Quick fix lang kabayan as i was still monitoring the condition of the car. Kabibili ko lang noon e. But theres a plan to replace it sometime soon.

You don"t have rear heat, so that makes it easy.
Thats right. I have the base trim model of pathfinder.
