Bro ObsidianChill and Multiverse aren’t technically defending DCUO for their mess ups. Their just updating on what’s going on in the game and giving advice.
Multiverse made a video about the comeback of the comic material and how it's totally not worth it to pay for it, and the fact that you can't trade it makes it even worse. Multiverse likes the game and he doesn't want to be negative, but he will not defend everything they do.

If it wasn't for you or Multiverse, we would've spend a lot of in-game and real money trying on allies, arts and pets by ourselves, just to find out they're not worth it at all. I don't always agree with you, but that's just how things are in life. Your work is important for the community, whether he likes it or not.
Honestly, that might be one of the reasons why the devs hate you. I mean, look at the arts: that mission with Constantine makes you choose between the worst arts in game, and they encourage players to level them up, which is a total waste of in-game resources, and the fact that the arts are useless before lvl 120 is outrageous. Now, imagine not being able to research for advice?? 💸💸💸
this right here. honestly when i started out it was so clunky and confusing and all over the place i didn't know what to do till someone suggested this youtube channel. while i too now don't always agree it was mad helpful to me in learning how to play the game better. its wild i gotta do all this homework to play a videogame

As much as I hate to admit that you're right about PvP not coming back, the PvP in this game was great content that kept people playing it. It sucks how they just let it slip away.
It would be nice if we they had bonus weeks for pvp. They’ve done it about twice when Covid first hit. If Pve Legends can get bonus weeks why not PvP 🤷🏻♂️

ive happly switched to water tons of times. no one should switch to anything because its op you should switch to have fun and have a little variation in the game. and I would love to get another power set they generally keep me and several people i know happy for a good while. its not like they are making good content anyway. and we have had many many long gaps with out content here recently so id be fine with them working on one

Obsidian can you do a video on the history of DCUO PVP. What is was and when and how it became broken, then forgotten?
I debate with people like this on the forums all the time. They call everything “trash” because they just they’re just shit talkers who don’t know nearly enough about game development (or problem solving in general) to be able to offer realistic constructive criticism based on the problems actual factors.
They call the devs lazy and/or greedy because, again, they know nothing about game development, running a solvent business, budgeting finite resources or apparently even the difference between a hobby, charity and an income producing for profit business.
They call I and others DCUO defenders and apologizers because we know any solutions or improvements have to be based in the reality of the situations’ various factors and not based on the imagination of someone who couldn’t even so much as code that “start” screen for Frogger.
I guess you can’t blame em though. If not for speaking out of pure ignorance they wouldn’t speak at all.
I don't know how they can't monetize pvp is beyond me... all they should do is make it to where if you want certain styles and feats you gotta pvp.. I'm talking about some brand new styles too.. but good video overall bro.

Back when we were playing on PS3s and Mepps would pop up in the Watchtower and get mobbed by everyone and sometimes it could take all day to get to play because there were too many players. You may have been sarcastic but really, I always thought you were able to get your point across without being a jerk. It was plenty of jerk UA-camrs back then and I stopped watching and never subbed. I think it was because you were always a top player and understood the game and passed on know how to advance and not spend as much money I wouldn't be as good without your help

I just started playing about a month ago. I felt bored with this content and the armor rating ( I'm 409 ) and want to quit. Normally I like a grind...but AR a day the items are face, chest, boots and ring after ring...I'll stick to it but the next episode hoping for a excitement. Great video I'd rather hear honest reviews then bleh.

the thing with water is that the devs released the power and didnt touch it at all and what i mean is that they didnt buff it at all, this game lacks that buff and nerf system aka nerf 4 powers and buff other 4 powers and youll see ppl spending money on changing tokens, lets take example of league of legends when a new champion comes out he is the most broken champ for 1 to 2 months + the champion is released with a skin so ppl would buy the champ with ingame money see that he is broken and then buy with real money the skin that comes with it and after those 1 to 2 months he gets nerfed and other champions are getting buffed that come with new skins, so for me yes after a long time i would rather have 8 months without content so we get a new power, ice was buffed the last two episode and we didnt get a single announcement saying that it did get buffed like literally no details or anything meanwhile any other game has dedicated page saying what ability specificaly got nerfed or buffed. :/

This is a typically non-sense video. Both you and Multiverse do a great job presenting the game from your points of view. Sometime I can disagree on some builds because I have my own way to play the game (just as every player who plays since a few years), yet, never it was a subject at all to know wether you would be a DCUO influencer or not. Neither you nor Multiverse have any content following the assumption this creator is pointing.
My simple point of view would be either he tries to get more visibility through a drama with Multiverse and you, or he doesn't even followed anything about DCUO news and community history. Otherwise, he would know for sure his assumption is, at very minimum, bullshit.
I'm quite interested on your opinion on the Brand of Hecate though, I was quite surprise not to see your opinion on the subject. Loved Multiverse one and, for my troll, I leveled it and got quite interesting results and I'm using in my main build.
Recently, I'm quite concerned with newly updates appearing to be more chaotic on day 1. Maybe it's just transition, but yet, DCUO might communicate better about when they start an update and when the game is stable and playable back.
I find some changes interesting, I can definitely see more work done for QoL and deminishing the P2W system.
Maybe that kind of video comes with success. Maybe DCUO community is growing enough for some creators to try the drama card, yet, it's never a good way to get viewers. I don't understand this creator's idea.

Because you can swap your power via the store I dont see why someone would opt to spend hundreds to get new arts on alts. I really think they should make arts swappable between alts it would really encourage people to actually play them.
making them account bound would be best for the overall health of the game, just they would never do it because of the loss of revenue. Outside of Time capsules and booster bundles I would wager very strongly artifacts are next on the highest gross revenue list
I ended up making a toon themed for each power even though you can switch it wouldn't fit the aesthetic for me, so it would still be costly to constantly switch powers depending on what style I'm going for, guess it's some sort of nick pick I have when making toons and probably shooting myself in the foot by not just making a main and swap powers when I get bored, but account bound arts would be sick.

I remember a year ago I did a pug run in a raid and one of the adds got glitched and couldn't die or be harmed smfh. Players started to leave and Mee being the Healer without a tank being there and me healing of course they will come for me 🙄 but I eventually left as well. Apparently this ONE player blamed me for the adds not being able to be killed I was told🙄🙄😒😒🙁🙁😑😑 lmao smfh. You have to be a complete fool and not see the adds not being harmed to know they glitched and just leave and reque.
