This video is eye opening to a lot. But to most top leagues and players, these players in this video were known for speed hacking. To have so much time and money invested in a game to throw it away to be #1 on wavedox is just plain stupid. Thank you for posting this hope these scumbags finally get what they deserve

Im sorry man but you’re in the wrong here. You’re talking about the game being “challenging” in a while. The game is easy for you and every other person in this game because of artifacts. The game died when they implemented that in to the game. The only way to be “good” at this game is buying feats and you’re complaining about people who do a similar cheese by “speed hacking”. You all are trash at this game. If it wasn’t because of the stats revamp skill would have been everything in this game but since they wanted to appeal to the 30 year old virgins that can’t handle clipping and don’t know how to handle a simple reflect mechanic. People who don’t like spending a month working on that one 50 point feat because RNG doesn’t want to give you the one boss that you need to kill. Capsules and artifacts are the worst additions to this game and then making them associated with feats just made it that much worse. Almost 600sp in this trash game and most of them are locked behind a pay wall. This game wasn’t like this

Answering there’s a thin line in what the devs are doing and what’s considered cheating. Spending money on a game just to get stronger without putting in that much effort. Hmm... that seems vaguely familiar 🤔 something along the lines of hack the game so you get stronger without putting too much effort
ProjectChill even paying for arts isn’t actually going above & beyond to speed hack content people with full arts/augments are not beating it. Nobody is disagreeing with the fact that the artifact system is atrocious but nothing we can do about it (except not spending money of course) but that would lead to servers shutting down since I’m sure they’re making a good amount from artifacts.
Answering its still cheating. If someone wants to cheat to get something that for other people is unobtainable then let em. Its still a PvE game its not like you’re getting directly getting harmed by anything they obtain. The magic of these kinds of games is how rewarding it feels to get that one piece of gear that you were farming for and busting your ass for but in this game there’s really not an item like that. The op pieces are not RnG like they used to be so now you’re just left with a repetitive quest to get an item that really in my opinion isn’t even worth getting. You can enjoy the game the same exact way without that piece and it doesn’t make that much of a difference. Its just a stat boost that again you can just get by pumping money into that game. The “cheating problem” isn’t really a problem cause again it’s just a PvE game
I've seen so many players with full Elite within the first two day's smh
It isnt so much being full elite, it's the feats they have while getting there. I know a lot of people who reset content in the first 2 days and run the elites legit, just to be the first. But they almost never have the tougher elite feats done until later on in the episode. Almost every episode has those elite feats where you know someone was hacking if they have have them in the first week

The speedhacking/cheating is more attributed to the hate and aggression that most players feel towards everyone. If you've ever just stood in the HoD (surely the same in WT) and read the shout chat you'd be able to tell that 1), there are alot ignorant grown ass men playing DC 2), they don't have much going for them aside then their little DC character.
They argue amongst eachother and act really hateful against each while rubbing accomplishments they've made in game in eachother's faces. So, that's where all the hacking comes from, simply put. It's a matter of "there's no way in hell I'm going to let "so and so" get "that" before me so they can rub it in my face in the HoD or WT.

I don't see any proofs in that accusation, two single persons know what really happened with my old account, everyone else who's talking anything about hacking/cheating etc. just fell victim to the rumor mill in this game since people ain't got an own life. Speed hacking all over the place. People were shouting for hackers to run the bounties because they thought it made things faster, even though the bounties are on timers and it just meant more waiting in between

I knew about it. After a CAREER of playing dcuo, through thick and thin, more power to them. Daybreak is HUGE on their gain, not ours. By the time I got full renown in Titans, birds of prey came out. 2 elite raids a week for 500 renown each... But if you're pay to win, you win. I applaud you pc nerds
I know Dvita and it is sad to see him up there. A few other names up there think they are big shots in trade as well. A couple of them were even pretty vocal against the money glitch. Sad to see how two faced these people are

Kinda ironic that a lot of the top speed hackers are using hero toons. A lot of those end-game feats that are impossible to get right now, should be easier in a few years for legit players to obtain.

This episode elite is a step in the right direction in regards to difficulty, and is tougher. In all honestly though, this game has been on easy mode for a long while now. These elites are almost what regular really should be imo. Maybe not quite as unforgiving. Raids where mechanics actually matter. People needing to speed hack anything in this game is laughable.
Ran into a speed hacker today. Guy fully admitted he didn’t care about the game: “I don’t play the game for fun, I play it for money.”
He didn’t care about being reported or banned either, he would just make a new account and character.
I play legends pvp almost everyday and I’m pretty good. When I play 2v2s most of the time I win and I always encounter speed hackers after I’m up half the game. Which ends up making me lose 😔. They also have the nerve to break gear even though they have to win with speed hacks lol.
Some try to get away with speed hacking by making small toons and using super speed

pugging is different, they can tell from the instance of it was a full 8 player que. If you purposefully que with a speed hacker then that's on you. If you randomly run into one, not your fault

I recognize one of those names from a league I was in, their codename for speedhacker was 'Cadillac'. They had one outside of the league they would invite for prestige farming.

Hacking or not at the end of the day the dev's will not really care if these people spend money. The dev's getting the money is what this game has turned into. In order to be competitive at a high level you need to spend A lot of money on artifact s.

Can someone help my old ass understand what Speedhacking is exactly? Ignorance is probably bliss in my case. I gave up on raids due to big league drama, and A-holes, a long time ago. But am still curious.
Basically speed hacking allows you to get off 100 hits in a second, I believe it can also let you phase through objects so if the room locks they can just glitch back in. Might be missing a few other things they can do but it’s like a bootleg god mode

What is a speed hack?
Very well and thanks a lot with great appreciation, is very uncomfortable to make a great sacrifice in the game for our part, and to see a certain groups do things like that and get a head of the situation and not build the real experience on it, clear Loosers, FNX450.
What 2 leagues ?
Obsidian, you mention these players use throwaway accounts and to ban the players within that group instead, but the problem is what if you get stuck in a group with a speed hacker and you didn’t know?

Haven't played elite but, i can't stand the regular one. The map is nice but, it's too long for just a bunch of adds and 2 bosses. It either needs to be shorter or add a 3rd boss to make the travel length through the map worth it.
I personally enjoy the longer raids and the ones with adds you cant skip tbh.
Gonna have to disagree I miss these hallways filled with adds back in the day and more puzzles to get to the boss the whole raid should feel like a journey and people shouldn't want to run it 7times in one day
I finally experienced a loser speed hacker the other day and it honestly is discouraging to see it allowed to happen and ya I don’t get the point of cheating in this game… I agree obsidian chill.. it’s about personal progression and earning the feats not cheating.
I was in top 3 on villain side usps and there are now a ton of players speed hacking and you see it on that list. Scores of people that were never on that list are now ahead of me. No big deal but I don’t get it either. How is speed hacking fun? If I were you I’d keep exposing them all! I grind like crazy and these scrubs have zero respect from me!

If you really want to punish speed hackers, take their gear, base items, styles, money, skill points, and put them back on the space ship. Taking away their ability to run event level content (Events, seasonals, stabilizers and LPVE) forever wouldn't be a bad idea either.

1. already disappointed in this last Episode. call me crazy, but other than the feats, the content just appears to be a lot of the same old shit.
2. The speed hacking shit is so out of control its pathetic. and no, i dont think the devs will be doing anything about it anytime soon. Mepps is more likely to put a lock or a ban on your account for calling these idiots out, simply because its easier for them than dealing with the actual problem.
now that being said, this game is becoming less fun with each new DLC. Maybe its just me. It seems like they reward and encourage the cheating rather than address it. The vast majority of us, are still episodes behind when it comes to completing feats, and collecting elite gear. I'm a member of one of the top US leagues, and its a pain in the ass to get people to run anything that isnt new content. Shit is just getting old.

I am not clear on what 'Speed Hacking' is? Are these people hacking the actual game code? How are they doing this? I'd like to know so I can identify who is doing this, and I can not involve myself in any cheating by accident or queuing into a pug group where someone is doing it.
