Every time I think of the lasso, the only thing that comes to mind are those tanks dragging the adds and rushing everyone through the instance. Tank's a support role, not a protagonist - and I say that as a healer myself. Oh, and Zeus freaking out because of the lasso is a total nightmare. Lasso could be great if you're using it, but I only have negative associations to it, because I only notice it when it's annoying me.
Great vid! Just the problem with The Strategist Card is that any person with a brain could immediately see that the artifact is a straight up cashgrab.
They didn’t even make an effort with the damn thing, not a tad innovative. Scrap of the Soul Cloak to be able to spam your supercharge.
The Transformation Card to get 25% more crit. (EVERYONE LOVES TO CRIT)
Grimorium Verum to summon a pet that alters the way you play your favorite power.
But with The Strategist Card…yeah…get a dot that deals damage, that’s literally it. So why don’t we all just buy more damage, because that’s so fun!
Strategist Card was just lazy way to buff all powers.
I can’t help but notice that you put The La-Mort as a failed artifact when it’s most definitely an A-Tier artifact for powers that lack single target abilities like Electricity. Electricity has one of the best finishers in the game and you’re saying that a 10% damage increase to Ionic Drain is non-sense? A 10% damage increase to an already strong ability is no joke. Also you seem to be missing out the fact that Omegahedron would be A-Tier for powers like Mental or Hardlight that has ridiculous power consumptions.
Artifacts were made for the sole purpose of amplifying powers and if an artifact can fulfill that purpose in atleast one role then it is definitely not a failed artifact.
😂 u trash strategist for buffing powers then call out Obsidian for not praising the other artifacts that do the same thing. Hypocrite much?

Mercy is definitely an A tier art it can be used for might builds, pet builds and tanking some even art swap it so its definitely not B tier lol
I believe it’s the most delicate & complicated Artifact, i’m not even sure it’s even working right, i’ll level it up & look at the results someone was complaining it’s not functioning as intended.
@@pastoryoda2789 It’s functioning as intended you just have to swap it to apply damage again because the cooldown resets which technically isn’t intended as it clearly says it has a cooldown.

I’ve watched this before and never realized you had BOP as a C even before the SC regen it was S. Clarion one of my fav arts for heal and tank (tank to play around with) but not an S because you can’t use it in every situation. So A is good for that imo. Page S. Mystical also S

La Morte is a B if you're using it with The Batman Who Laughs Ally. I've used it extensively the past few months and its awesome.They do need to give you a countdown on when its going to pop. Or give you some visual notification that it has hit w/how much damage rather than relying on the log window.

If multiple people run tetra or cog do the buffs stack? I get what youre saying about most dps being selfish, but to me it seems like a group buff would just help everything die faster. Im not a selfish dps and i dont care about being top damage. Just want to watch everything burn as fast as possible

gemni eye is shet regardless of its usefullness vaguely in each role, because when other arts are there for your 3 slot , eye for example isnt as usefull as other tank art not even for swapping

Off topic question, sorry but with the role switch shortcut (i.e. swapping to the tank loadout) does that change your stats in anyway or is it just an out of combat loadout swap if you're not also equipping tank or healer gear. Currently playing as a duo and wanting to do some more healing on my sorc but we can't really lose my dps so I was thinking about half measure or hybrid to help keep us in tougher fights but I'm not really sure if that's the route to take or what. Finding info about this stuff is hard because I can't tell if guides are outdated or not. In that situation would it also be worth leveling one of the healing artifacts to swap in (no real plans to take on larger group content) or just make do and keep the dps arts instead. Thanks, your videos have been super helpful.
you can change in combat which would change your stats and gear but there is a much longer cooldown before you can do that again
orb should be A not C. It is still very viable.
Right? You just have to rearrange everything around the orb (i usually combine it with Purple Light and Omegahedron). I can't say how many times I saved people using that enhanced priority heal. And you also don't need to spam ph, so you can actually use it as a top priority for you or someone who's almost dying. Omegahedron is mostly a power art now, so I use my weapons to replenish some power and the art does the rest, so the troll won't freak out, and I don't need to rely so much on them anymore.
Hey Obsidian! First off, love the content, really helpful. Second, what artifacts and loadout would you recommend running for fire tanking? Would it be the same that you had in your Fire Tank guide? Because I remember seeing someone running around with Mystic, Clarion and Demon Fang and using snuff out and fiery weapon in their loadout. Just wanted to see what you would recommend more
clarion and demon fang are niche artifacts that are better suited for healers than fire tanks. Unless you have tons of xp/cats/seals lying around they aren't needed for you

yes I can, going to finish up all my might updated videos so I can use that to properly compare the tiers
I use it for híbrid dps with the computo's. And in the begini6its hard but after booth are on rank 200 they start working pretty well together
Do a from scratch series make a whole brand new account membership only and record the progress
Nobody needs that, level 1 to 30 is a tutorial that basically teaches you everything you need to know, from there you will play instances & missions until you get the gear, items and artifacts that you want. Just follow your journal it will always show you where you need to go to progress further.
And if you don’t know how to play your power or which stats to invest in, just visit this channel and Obsidianchill will teach you everything you need to know about it, simple as that.
They should buff all the low tier Artifacts, especially heart of ISIS. I wish it had a stronger buff and gives a lightning aura or something.
Hey OC, I got the BOP for trolling and loving it, with a troll loadout now though, should I just have the claw power proc, the BOP proc, then run damaging powers right? Theres no more need to have the other debuff powers taking up the slots and causing CCs anymore correct?
This feels a little biased towards raid content. Some artifacts like LA Mort are much better for solo work with a boss where you want your finisher more often and not the entire loadout because aoe isn't helpful.
You confuse me in regards to Claw. You say

I assume you meant you don't want to go into content WITHOUT the Claw.

I ran Blackest Day & the Tank had mixed dps & tank gear, he also had snow balls where the soder should be 😂 good thing we only needed the tank for aggro.
There’s not much point in doing an artefact tier list, when in your ice tank guide you say Circe Mask is best in slot & now here in this video you trash talk it! Artifacts are insanely expensive to rank & now I feel I’ve made the wrong decision to use my 200 Circe Mask artifact to breakthrough the eye of Gemini.

if you are doing a pet/summoner build you will want 1) Source Shard 2) MERCY 3) Quislet

So what artifact do you believe is the most underrated?
Probably Dead King Scepter. Most players don’t want to artifact swap but DKS is so well rounded, just not good enough to be on a slot always and you only have to swap it every orbital strike so it’s not like every 30s etc
@@ObsidianChill it's a problem for console players, artifact swapping that is. Sometimes we might Open up the wrong menu, using the analog stick.

I’d rank Amazballs over source shard. Survivability alone dictates otherwise. ObsidianChill, I’ve tested it. Unless you can get Source Shard to proc more frequently? I can almost guarantee, Amazballs is going to out perform it almost every damn time. Again? That is my personal opinion and you can test it yourself to see, my logic is far from off. -Khangus Kahn

100% all the hard raids of the past and SM there was no arts needed to help but now the game relies on them and they are one of the biggest revenue streams for the game

OB, what's your take on the arti setup for Light DPS? Trans/Strat/Grim because the PI applicators & SCs suck? Or is that inferior to Trans/Strat/Quislet running Neo-Venom Boost as SC & no PI applicator?
Quislet will deal more damage than the daze pi with grim. Also daze pi is a common pi setup from other powers like gadgets controllers so you can get it elsewhere for the extra damage.
@@ObsidianChill Thanks for the reply. I'm thinking my strategy could be to use Trans/Grim/Quislet everywhere but during boss fights, and create a boss fight-specific armory with Trans/Strat/Quislet. Even as a might DPS, the non-boss loadout would utilize Inspiration with the Critical Inspiration head mod to increase crit chance; the boss fight loadout would swap Inspiration for Neo-Venom Boost, and have a separate DPS head with the NVB head mod slotted. I kinda like the sound of that...

i totally disagree with la mort being fail. i’m a celest sp 179 cr 384 art 123 and i top dps raid with my single target load out. that doom hits hard and it’s very noticeable in the stats man

I would love to see an artifact for Amazonian Bracers like how we got one for heat vision that for lvl 80, 120, 160, 200 rank ups. It reduces cooldown, makes Amazon Bracers immune to block break, And takes percent of damage absorbed to become a buff to defence and health for a period of time up to a cap percent.

I would, although generally prec dps don't use quislet anyways or grim.

the 10% PI damage is not worth it compared to just running Quislet. The only situation were grim can be helpful is certain Quantum loadouts and for gadgets to help with the power cost if needed.

Obsidian wouldn’t The Clarion work better with Mystic Symbol of the Seven to get even better heals as a Tank?
clarion requires changing your playstyle as a tank to weapon combos, if you are just doing weapon taps you won't get as much out of the heals. Clarion can work as a tank but it is much better suited for a healer.

I still don’t understand how manacles is better than mystic, you seem to like manacles very much & i don’t understand why considering the 45second cooldown.
Mystic just gives you a small heal when you get attacked and raised defense by a small % with the more adds around you. Manacles for example, if you had 400k health as a tank you could get hit for 750,000 dmg in 1 hit and still survive because manacles 1/2’s the damage you take in that situation and reapplies it as a dot. Manacles is the difference between life and death in raids

I don't know. I feel a fire tank is weakest when it's shields drop between cool downs. You're not mitigating any damage during this period and is usually when. You take the most spike damage. The extra healing to fill in the gap might be nice. I'm still working on manacles and mystic though. So I wouldn't be able to test Circe's mask for a while. I keep looking at it though lol.
I forgot which ally but it’s one of the Batmans, the passive ability mitigates damage & buffs you really good

no, it only procs on a counter, which you can't guarantee you will get in content and the only counter you can get as a dps in content is a blockbreaker, as blocking and lunging are typically taken by the tank

until you run into a time where the group wipes before the 35% and you just dealt 0 damage the entire fight with lamort compared to the millions of damage you would have with strategist

Agree with most of the rankings except La Mont card. It should have been higher because of the 20% buff it gives to finishers. Munitions' Electric and Water use finishers in their rotation so how is that a fail when their finishers already hit hard AF.
it doesn't increase by 20% it's 10% which is nothing. Also if the group wipes before the boss procs on 35% you just did 0 dmg that entire fight with the art, and once it procs it doesn't benefit you at all for the final 35%. Finishers are already 4.4 seconds and by the time you do HV and another power its already off cooldown so having it reduced by 20% also serves no purpose to you
Do I need the claw at 160 or 200?
It has to be 160 at least or you don't give power to the whole group. 200 you get the extra crits, which is very nice but you can still use claw at 160

You're drinking draino if you think the philosophers stone and dead king scepter is better than BOP com. A supply drop and orbital strike artifact???? Guess I'd expect that from a dps. And purple healing ray is ass. I'll take POD all day. Laz water is no where near S tier. It's only used for SM and elite plus raids. Who's going to use that for omnibus content or regular raids?? Where do you come up with this stuff??? Smh
If you aren’t doing content where you can even take enough damage to bring you to a page proc it’s a useless art for healing lol where PHR you have continually active no matter the raid or situation. BOP is trash, it’s sole purpose is to have trolls not stun adds and that only matters when it’s high end elite content, besides that you get tiny ticks of power that are only good if you combined it with strategist card, which a troll wouldn’t do, and for pet power and you barely see any sorc or earth pet dpsing.
@@ObsidianChillthat's why you use parasite power harness for power. And I stun just fine with light blast. I've never had a problem with giving power during anything. Your entire list is based on dpsing and artifact swapping. Not everything is about burn. Trolls aren't supposed to out burn dps and neither are healers and tanks.

You don’t have to art swap as a troll but literally BOP does nothing better than all the main troll arts except power pets which is even rarer to find in pugs. My list is based on knowing what every art can do, not personal bias because obviously you love BOP but that doesn’t change the fact that multiple arts that a troll can have are better
@@ObsidianChill typical dps talk. You'd rather have a buff troll so you can burn more. When actually debuffing will get you put at the same speed if not faster. And BOP allows you to throw all 3 debuffs in 1 shot. Add that with Rao and you'll have a group of ads plus the boss debuffed. Add in expose weakness and everything burns faster. Plus you'll have your entire load out to use dps attacks instead of using a different power per debuff. You just proved my point by only caring about burn instead of the troll role

Is Grim better than Quislet if you are Water Might DPS? Does the quislet bonuses outweigh Grim's P.I application (and extra might stats) for water's rotations?

quislet is better than the 10% PI bonus that crush would provide. There are also melee rotations that you can setup crush yourself as might too

@@jamarmar. if you are using Lift in your rotation you need the PI, but if you aren't using lift quislet is fine. Even needing the pi you can mix in Singularity into the rotation for it
