It’s like going from a small studio apartment to a condo! Nice job Angela..❤️👍
Well ...even more awesome than the Awesome Oscillating tool is Awesome Angela. You go girl! You made some chicks pretty happy , I’d say. Thanks for sharing.
I agree with you on every point NoWhere Nan
Thank you! ☺️
As a new chick mama, I've watched plenty of diy brooder videos and this was definitely the best one. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Ah... the old Awesome Oscillating tool. Love it. So versatile!
Love the chickie box! Especially that it’s on wheels, smart choice.
Just a reminder. If you wheel them outside make sure that black tote doesn't get too hot in direct sun.
Those look like some pretty happy chicks!
A luxury accommodation. It takes me back to the 1940s in London UK, from when I was a boy. We had no electricity in those days. I used to buy 'day old chicks' from the pet shop. Keep them in a box, with a rubber hot water bottle wrapped in cloth to keep them warm. Eventually we got electricity and I hung a bulb over the box. All very hit and miss and some didn't survive. The ones that did supplemented our food rations. Keep the videos coming!!
Can u imagine 50,000 of those in one house I have 6 houses of them I grow over a million birds a yr
😱😱😱
Way to go Angela! Great job, and a excellent way to use a tote. Two thumbs up.
They’re so cute!! Their little peep peep chirps are sweet. Love the brooder. Great job!
Pretty nifty…. Good system. Thanks for sharing
Thanks!!
Quite an upgrade! Well done!!!
I would like to see a video of you talking about your soap business.
Great video, Angela. gotta love that oscillating tool
Another great video. Thanks for sharing about the animal heating pad-
This a great idea. I use the foldable pet playpens that are waterproof for my duckling and it works great.
Very cute! Mine are in box, i will definitely be making this, thanks!!
Real nice job on the Chick box! Also Like that heating pad that is much better than a heat lamp!
I love the brooder box, plenty of room, GREAT Job GIRL
I really want to get one of those oscillating tools! Awesome project Angela!
I did this yesterday before seeing your video. Just got My peeps this morning.
Let the fun begin 🤠
Angela, you are so amazing. Love your design for the new brooder.
This inspired me, i made my brooder the same way 😊 i used hardware cloth though. Gonna get some chicks tomorrow or the next day. So excited!
Thanks for this idea!! We used it for a brooder for our backyard chicks
Great video Angela, my favorite part is clipping the zip tie ends. 🖒👍💚
Thanks for sharing your little chicks. They will grow so fast, I am sure.
Good evening Angela , about time you had a vid up , good to see you .lol
ANGELA, I LOVE YOUR INGINUITY IN BUILDING A BROODER OUT OF A STORAGE CONTAINER THAT IS GREAT FOR THOSE CHICKS, GREAT JOB!!
Aww, thank you so much!
Great idea! Great job! God bless your family!
Nice job Angela!!!! They are so cute!
I’ve been wanting one of those cutting tools. Thinking I’m going to have to get one for sure now.
Super smart idea!!
Great idea on making the perch! Thanks will be making myself one now cause you made it look so easy!
Looks great Angela what a good idea
I love ❤️ your baby chick solution !!!
Especially being able to wheel them out to the sunshine 🌞!!!!
Love it. Very practical. God bless.
Oh fun the baby chicks just got a new bedroom too. Cool brooder 🐣 🐥 🐤🥰
Love the brooder and the chicks.
Great job 👍 Angela!!
Nice build. But if it were me I would put the heated pad down against the end. Chicks like to huddle together in a corner when they get cold. And it frees up room around the water fountain when they are huddled together. Also, put a layer of sawdust over the mat so it will clean up easier.
Enjoyed your project thanks for sharing.
Thanks.
A puppy playpen works well as a brooder. Love the little perch!
Another super helpful video. Thanks.
Thx
Great idea, thank you!
Cute little chicks🐥🐥🐥
That was a very nice border you made it was absolute awesome you gave me an idea Thank You ANGELA you are amazing

Oh, good! A chick flick. How cute.
Nice job!! 😁
Great idea!
Great job
Great idea 💡
Great video!
Cool idea
Great video Angela. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Looks like you had a great idea!
From the thumbnail I thought Sam had cut hexagons into the lid using his fancy hexagon cutting machine.
Nice she shed ya got there! LOL I really like the brooder box you made out of the tote. Really inventive idea!
Nice design!
Fancy new digs!! ❤
Good job 👍
Awesome!
Great idea Angela I think I am going to make me one like that 😀
It's a great solution. They only have to be in there for 6 weeks and, as you said, on nice days they can go outside to enjoy some fresh air. They looked like happy little chicks running around their new digs. Angela, I have to say, you're pretty handy with that tool. I think the result looks awesome. Now, I'm wondering .....if I get one of those tools maybe I can finish a few small projects around here too? :)
What a great idea. X
Great video
Genius 😊
Best Chicken Brooder I've seen. This will be the one I copy.
It’s been a great one! Thanks! 😁
Love the brooder, it's perfect for a few chicks. I can assure you that if you bought Golden Comet pullets, and they actually shipped or marked them correctly as Golden Comet pullets, that is what you have. They are a sex-linked bird, meaning the females are a different color at hatching than the males. Yours are all feathering out like pullets.
My girls comment is “thanking for showing us how to do this!”
great idea. I think hardware cloth would be easier to cut and it will stay straight.
I watch a Canadian artist named Joshua Alexander, him and his wife have chickens too. They just got 4 chicks to add to their flock. They were supposed to be girls, but they think at least 2 are boys. They have several different breeds so they didn't know what they were supposed to look like as babies and "teenagers".
Great diy ...cool home for the family 😂 your such a natural on camera Angela...I don’t even like doing face time / zoom😉😂😂🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
You’re sweet. Thank you!
Wow super Angela I loved it if I get crazy enough to get back into chickens I’m 64 on a farm by my self 12 big dogs horse donkey I would build this one
That's a high quality chicken brooder. 👍👍 .
Thanks!!
Cute chicks. We want chicks but this is our first summer in the new house and there is so much to get done we may have to wait till next summer. we have no house or anything for them, but we love looking at them at Tractor supply and every time wishing we could bring some home. 1 day maybe.
That is a great top for a chicken box.
Angela girl you make me wanna go build something! Lol. Another cool video.
Go for it! 😁
I knew You needed bigger soap shack, Sam after decking has been done please can Angela get biiiiiiggggggg soap shack the lil soap shack can be chicken coop lol
Great job Angela , the chicks have a lot more space to grow now . Your a very skilled lady . Are you hatching chicks from your own breed hen's now ? . Keep up the excellent work and content , you have an excellent channel , good family working together to make things flow through nice and easy . . 👍👍👍👍 .
Thank you! No fertilized eggs here, we only have hens 😁
Aww!!! Chick 1,2,3 are going to be happy!! I hope the mean chicken didnt peck at them too much!!
Clever...
Someone told me if you want to introduce new chicks to broody hens, to do it at night🤷. I haven't tried it yet, just thought I'd share.
Did Sam have the day off 🤣
This is great! I am going to do 3 for my meat chicks how do they hold up to the lights hanging over head? I can only put them in the closed off room in my lean to that had power.
Nice vedio .plase next vedio
What did you use to set your water and food bowl on ???
Neat set up How long before they will start laying?
Usually around 18 weeks
Adding chick under a bloody is most successful if you put the chicks in after the hen has gone to sleep for the night. Typically they wake up in the morning ready to be a mom. It is also most successful if the bloody is alone. Even chicks hatched naturally often struggle if there are multiple mommas.
Nice job Angela, but I am wondering you don’t use the sawdust that Sam makes in his shop?
Sam hasn't been in his workshop to make any sawdust in about two months. EEK! Perks of a home reno! LOL But otherwise it would probably be too fine of a dust for the chicks, but more so for the surrounding area -- they'd dust everything up! :)
Put the chicks under the hens at night.
Yeah, you really need to add chicks to broodies at night. It helps if they've been broody for at least a week.
We always stuck chicks under the broody hens at NIGHT! Sneak them under there.
Sam the anonymous wood worker, don’t see his face just those skilled hands hard at work. Love watching Angela get braver. I’ve built brooder but not given the chicks a perch interesting idea.
