I remember feeling exactly like this once. I couldn't get that fullness feeling in my ear to ever go away. The ringing was non-stop, my hearing was muffled, my eye was twitching, my jaw felt like it was constantly needing to be popped and my vertigo made me feel like a drunk sailor. Not sure if this is helpful for anyone going through something similar to this, but I found direct correlation between my TMJ, my neck pain and my vertigo/general dizziness. my stress/anxiety was causing severe TMJ and creating tension down through my jaw, into my neck and down through my shoulders, sort of locking up my neck. I've had random cases of Vertigo throughout the past two years, and there's little that helps me, but what I've started doing is moving other parts of my body and thinking "what am I moving right now? it's my right hand" and so on; it helps distract my brain from the dizziness. It helps me to kind of "relax" my brain from "spinning panic" and focus on other body parts and realize that I have moved my body into another position (for example sitting up in bed the morning after waking up to the room spinning, just make sure to take your time with it and not rush it), closing my eyes while doing this helps a bunch as you're not getting sensory overloaded because your eyes see the room spinning. They dizziness eventually goes away after days/weeks, but it feels truly stressful and debilitating.
I was diagnosed with menieres years ago. I am astounded by what I just learned, I feel that much of what was discussed pertained to my symptoms. Thank you both so very much.
If this woman is having true vertigo, I feel bad for her. It makes you truly miserable and you cannot move or do anything. Even when holding still, the room whirls around you and there is nothing you can do to stop it. Finding a focal point on the wall is slightly helpful, but after minutes (or hours) you cannot keep that up. Closing your eyes makes you feel like you are tumbling through space, which is almost worse. It affects your balance to the extreme and even crawling is difficult because to lean to one side and fall over. The high speed carousel feeling makes you nauseous, but you don't usually throw up because you are focusing really hard on trying to "hold still" in your head. It awful. Been there, done that. Good luck to you with your ears. I have similar problems.
My mom had bad vertigo from Menieres and was treated at Mass Eye and Ear. The doctor injected her eardrum with an antibiotic Gentamycin and it cured the vertigo. Took two treatments which were painful but worth it. The vertigo has only reoccurred once in the ten years since the treatment.
My grandma suffered from vertigo for so long. She’d go to a balance clinic to get it resolved, but as she was so frail & always falling, it didn’t last long. She quit after the 2nd treatment course because it was just too hard on her. I took her to see our local chiro & though he didn’t do much, due in large part to her frailty, she felt so much better.
Seeing the way you use your body to apply pressure to where your patient needs is is so amazing. You are so empathetic and sweet, I have never watched chiro vids before but I’m glad I stumbled across yours first
She legit has every symptom I have and my vertigo is exactly what she described and everything that sets her off sets me off. This video shows me there is hope!!
I had severe vertigo and after seeing an ENT, having an MRI (with contrast), I was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma which is a non cancerous brain tumor. I had 2 wonderful surgeons remove it and 14 years later I am better, not the same, but better.
i'm so happy to seer such a mindful, caring chiropractor, who understands and respects how complicated the body can be . It's also very encouraging to see a female chiropractor, because I have seen so few. Good work, you're amazing lady!!
so happy this video was shared! i suffer from severe vertigo with ALLL of these symptoms. so nice that others out there are able to find you to seek guidance, and we can learn through the footage too!
The patient seems to have such a wonderful personality. Such a sweet voice too (not sure what the accent is, but it sounds very nice)! I’m glad she had some relief, and another great video as always, Dr. Mondragon!
I was mimicking her ear maneuvers on myself and it felt fabulous! Not anywhere near as effective as having an expert do it I’m sure, but still yummy. One of the main things I noticed this practitioner does that I’ve never experienced with any chiropractor I’ve visited is that she constantly keeps verbally communicating with the patient AND waits until the patient is ready before she makes any adjustments. This is SO important and the lack thereof is the number one reason why I get super stressed about chiros and avoid them-I don’t want to be jerked around and manhandled without knowing what/when. It’s literally traumatizing, mentally and physically, not to be respected enough to be talked to and prepared before being “cracked.” It feels like a violation. I have no idea if it comes more naturally to communicate for this practitioner because she is a female or not but either way, ALLL chiros need to get better and concentrate on doing it for the well-being of their patients. It makes me want to search out a female chiro and give therapy another try. Well done!!
I feel so bad for her and everyone who suffers from vertigo. I’ve had random experiences with vertigo when I’ve been extremely exhausted/sick and it’s the worst.
I remember when I had vertigo, some years ago now, it was horrendous. After about 6 months, I was sent to the hospital for an Epliyes manouvre, because my eyes were jigging around, too strange for words really . The Doc is brilliant and explains everything so well xxx
I was having a very bad vertigo when I was young, being checked apparently it was the result of all my wisdom teeth both upper & lower, also on left & right side were grew up inward in the gummi instead of upward (they did the X-Ray on my head & teeth). They said it pushed the nerve which caused my terrible vertigo, so they took 4 of them, with operation. Since then, I never have it. And I am very happy now. No more schwindel 😊🤗.
I experienced this as well, however After a lots of appointments, and an MRI they found that I have Chiari Malformation 1(herniation of the cerebral tonsils). (Brain). I was told I couldn’t have a chiropractor work on me or do any adjustments on me or my neck, however, I finally got a great Neurologist that said I could see a chiropractor for pain management and that it may actually help. I was terrified to have my neck adjusted, once I was over my fear, I can tell you that Chiropractic care has helped me tremendously.
No matter how long I've been watching this channel, Doc can still astound me with her knowledge. Niiiice background arrangement by Ms Linnea. Hope patient feeling better.

I wish someone offered this in my city. I’m suffering daily since birth. I saw so many “specialist” and majority of them turned me away nd said I was fine but I’m clearly not. I feel like things have gotten worst. No one has even attempted to do anything just ask me what’s wrong and send me home with a workout or a medication. Losing hope but I hope one day I could see someone or Ms. Mondragon herself 💖

Cough, ear, sinuses, throat infection can mess up bones so much, facial bones, neck, spine, rib cage. I still have some kind of irritated nerv in my ear since March 2020 when I had a really bad ear and sinuses infection. From November till February I was visiting lymphatic drainage. Probably she got out the mucus from the past life, unbelievable. I feel that it helped my spine too, because muscles are not so clogged with mucus. I need to find a therapist for this treatment on the video. Loved it a lot! We saw a lot of knowledge. 👏👏👏👏
I had severe virtago in July of this year and was on medication for about 2 weeks before I had the confidence to work through it. I still haven’t fully recovered and I still feel it coming on at random times so if was nice to see this video and get some help. I wish we had someone like here where I live.
The feeling of rocking on a boat is a neurological issue rather than an ear issue. Likely MDDS or vestibular migraine. Its good to see a chiropractor that knows about BPPV and the Epley maneuver!

So I have never known what's happening to me but this girl described *every* symptom i've been having, I will be having my doctor check this out. And possibly finding a chiropractor who can help with this and my other ailments that cause me so much pain at 17. All the pain started when I was about 14. I ride horses, which normally helps the pain for a few hours after riding, and I feel none when riding, but otherwise i'm in a constant state of pain. I have TMJ, possible tendinitis, and a few other things. I pop my back and neck and that relieves the pain for an hour maybe an hour and a half, but never for a long period of time. My knees feel stuck, my hips feel stuck, every joint other than parts of my neck and back feel stuck. Every joint of my body pops on its own but most of it never feels good. The only pops that feel decent is my neck and back. I just want this pain to stop, and I hope doctors and a chiropractor helps. Will definitely be seeking out a chiropractor soon.
I’ve been told I suffer from Vistibular migraines which gives you vertigo as well as the bad head. They’ve done nothing to help, I’m currently on day 7 of an episode I think I might go see someone like you.....so glad she is getting better.
The best thing you can do is to treat your migraines. It stems from migraines. It’s like a migraine occurring in your inner ear and it somehow disrupts the signal to your brain. At least that’s what my doctors have told me.

The ear fullness she describes is a classic meniers symptom. It’s a terrible syndrome and I wish there was a cure. I’ve done NUCCA chiropractic and it’s helped a little.

Oh I completely relate to this!! Had a bad virus 5 years ago that effected my nervous system and ears, they remain quite full and constant tinnitus, leaving me off balance xxx
I suffer from positional vertigo and my chiropractor has helped somewhat. I do know that I have the same complaints that this patient had when bending forward, laying back and especially on my turning over onto my left side. I do have exercises that I was given by a audiologist, and they help but it never really goes away.
I love your videos. Other chiropractors just wanna crack you like a glow stick and send you out the door. You really get in their and try to relieve as much as stress to your patient’s bodies as possible.
I had this same issue once and ended up that I had an abscess in my sinus cavity. Where the roots of my upper teeth went. It was a year of being sick neck pain heart palpitations dizziness where I felt like I was on a boat and given so many antibiotics that I now have stomach issues years later. All this was from that infection. I had no tooth pain no signs of it. Crazy! Gave me the worst health anxiety ever.

I was miss diagnosed for vertigo for over 10 months. I kept arguing with my doctors saying something else was going on. I gained 100 pounds because I was so dizzy and nauseous all the time I couldnt eat or do anything. I went to another hospital ER and was low key yelled at for coming there for a non emergency. The doc accidentally diagnosed me because he gave me meclizine. So to all Doctors out there, just because its not life threatening in your view doesnt mean its not an emergency Since it worked I got out patient tests done . Non they did showed why I had vertigo, but I knew inner issues was the trigger. I reason years earlier that tmj not treated might cause damage to the inner ear. I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and my big area I my neck upper back and more with severe pain and tension. So years ago trying to stop the vertigo I went to a massage place 3 times every few days and only had deep tissue on my upper body for a 1 1/2 hours each time. My vertigo has been gone ever since. I told my doctors that just because you can't see damage or inflammation in the inner ear does not mean their isn't something being triggered there. I love people like this full body practioner whi clearly thinks outside the box and truly listens to the patient and body to figure out what's going on. Oh my goodness. I'm glad you could help her! It actually makes me feel good to see Mondragon use her expertise to help this woman get some relief!
I was diagnosed with menieres years ago. I am astounded by what I just learned, I feel that much of what was discussed pertained to my symptoms. Thank you both so very much.
Me too! I need this exact treatment. How can I find someone in Melbourne Australia to do this??
You were so great with her. You don’t rush your patients.
I’ve had a few episodes and it is debilitating. I hope she gets better.
I strongly suggest you see a doctor because vertigo is often the result of high blood pressure .
The spinning vertigo isn’t what she has.
@@mymia731 it is precisely what she is describing and I had it myself and I know exactly what caused it
My mom had bad vertigo from Menieres and was treated at Mass Eye and Ear.
I had 2 wonderful surgeons remove it and 14 years later I am better, not the same, but better.
related to nothing but u love ur profile pic!
i'm so happy to seer such a mindful, caring chiropractor, who understands and respects how complicated the body can be .
I do as well. It's nice to know your not all alone. This is harder than just being dizzy or having a migraine.
Me, too. It must be more prevalent than we knew.
You just look like the girl in the video
Well done!!
It's great watching an experienced person perform their expertise, whether chiropractor or computer engineer..
I feel I deal with vertigo but very unsure...my eyes also started jitterbug around for a split second uncontrollably.. I may have to get checked.
@@LunasLoversLane %11l?
She has such a gentle voice
I wanna know where her accent is from
Sounds like the singer bjork .icelandic maybe
Almost sounds like she's from Minas. My roommate is Brazilian and she sounds so much like his sister.
EDIT: Chiropractor asked patient at 23:12 how to pronounce something in Portuguese and patient said "Obrigado" which means thank you.
@@supernatural492 I was gonna say this. I’m from Minas and she sounds like me 😅
I wish someone offered this in my city.
Rae Rae- where do you live? Are you able to work?

I am so sorry people have invalidated your experience and will not listen to you. That is wrong of them. You are worth believing. You know there is something wrong in your body. You are right.
@@debsmith7460 thank you so much for your kind words this meant a lot to me. I’m going to keep trying to get answers
@@raerae116 Yes. Press on! You have probably already done this, but sometimes it helps to look outside the traditional medical field. I hope you find hope!
It is wonderful news that this woman is getting better. I wish I could have a similar treatment here in Australia.
As someone who has BPPV this was so amazing to watch! The Epley helps me with mine SO much and has been life changing.
Funnily enough I also have jaw problems like this lovely lady- I can’t wait to see a chiro! LOVE YOU DR MONDRAGON! You’re the best! ♥️♥️♥️
Have you seen an Orafacial Specialist? They’re help with the jaw, which most likely TMJ Disorder, which can cause vertigo.
Look up the Epley Maneuver if you have BPPV style vertigo. Fairly easy to do.
The feeling of rocking on a boat is a neurological issue rather than an ear issue. Likely MDDS or vestibular migraine. Its good to see a chiropractor that knows about BPPV and the Epley maneuver!
wow i have had all her symptoms she's having for years. maybe this is a sign to actually get it checked out rather than putting up with it! wonderful video Dr. Mondragon!
I officially have no life, best part of my day right here lol
@@HypnoSwag I'll pass thanks.
This was an amazing video, it was mine too 😌
It’s my go to sleep videos! I think I channel each patient !
Not going to lie I have never seen anybody ever pop someone's scalp by pulling hair like that that's actually interesting to know that that is a thing
Right!!! That was Soo cool
Watch Dona Rosa scalp massage on UA-cam
They do it a lot in Indian therapy videos! You should check them out as well
Thank you all of you for your suggestions I am totally going to check this stuff out because that was the most interesting thing I've ever seen when it comes to Chiropractic work
My vertigo was healed with adjustments by a chiropractor! I rarely get them now! Chiropractors are the best, ever!!
The therapist is like a great artist. She's great at her job. But makes it all look so easy. Thank you for uploading this video.
This is my new favorite one! I love when doc hair cracks! And massages the sutures! ASMR tinglessss
I need this! My ears are constantly filling with wax/fluid. I feel like I'm living vicariously through this treatment lol. I have the same problems as her on a plane. Just excruciating pain.
Love your skills and empathy. I believe a day with you could change my life, I just don't know if I have that high of a pain tolerance.
She seems like the sweetest person ever omg, broke my heart when she kept apologising 🥺
it's wonderful to see when the therapy works. she has the most pleasant look of relief on her face. she was even prettier leaving than when she came in. you can tell she feels better than she has in quite some time.
That patient seems to have a very lovely personality
She’s so pretty!! So glad she feels a little better 🤍
I’ve been told I suffer from Vistibular migraines which gives you vertigo as well as the bad head. They’ve done nothing to help, I’m currently on day 7 of an episode I think I might go see someone like you.....so glad she is getting better.
Unfortunately, the maneuver does not work for vestibular vertigo. I’m not sure about her other methods, though.
The best thing you can do is to treat your migraines. It stems from migraines. It’s like a migraine occurring in your inner ear and it somehow disrupts the signal to your brain. At least that’s what my doctors have told me.
The key is Dr M listening to the patient description of what's happening, and how she can ask certain questions to know how to treat.👍🏽🤫
That was a great short follow-up on how the patient is doing post session and how she is getting better 😊👍🏽
*Thank you so much Dr. mondragon to bring the scalo crack back. I was repeating your 2-3 videos every night for sleep, Please do more of scalp cracking video!*
I have Ménière’s with severe vertigo and Vestibular Migraines. This was so calming and hopeful to see. Since there is no cure I am always looking for treatments that don’t include pills! This was a good one to see! Thank you!
I had this vertigo and pressure and headaches went to a thai massager omg what relief so much better

I have Meniers and what she was describing really sounds like that’s it. For me it comes and goes with the vertigo only happening now and then but when it does, it’s debilitating. The ear fullness she describes is a classic meniers symptom. It’s a terrible syndrome and I wish there was a cure. I’ve done NUCCA chiropractic and it’s helped a little.
This patient should record audiobooks.
9:42 I know you were in your head but it looked like you were staring intently at it. But it is also amazing to know there is nerves in the ear that channel through different parts of the body. taught me something new and cool about the body.
After these videos i always feel totally relaxed.
Who else yawned when Doc said “ yawn?” 😂
I was about to but I remembered that she wasn’t referring to me 😂😂
I want to yawn just reading the word yawn. Yep... there it goes.
There's an actual term for it that I can't recall but "yawn" is the only word where the action occurs when seen, heard, said, or read
Every time I think you’re done with a patient, you just keep working! You’re amazing!
I love watching your videos. Im trying to clear my debt so i can afford to go to school to become a chiropractor in the near future. I love all the details your explain while you are filming it. Very fascinating. Thank you for the videos.
I had the really bad vertigo and cervical nerve pain and was diagnosed with occipital neuralgia. I’ve been getting nerve blocks and they’ve been amazing :)

I can say this is my favorite video I have seen! The patient is amazing and knows her body and also her accent is so calming and nice on the ears. Doctor of course always amazing! Was wondering where that accent is from if anyone knows!
Funniest part, 8:53
Doctor: You don’t consciously do it. It’s unconscious.
Patient: I know.
I started suffering from vertigo about 3 yrs ago, I was told mine is from the crystals in my inner eye are out of “place”, unless you have experienced it, you can’t imagine how horrible it is , age is also a factor.
I’ve had vertigo for 5 weeks and mild dizziness. I have lightheadedness now.
Feel bad for this poor girl, so many issues. Seems like some progress was made. Hope she keeps seeing more and more improvement. No one deserves to have to go through this.
She goes above and beyond any chiropractor that I Know
I have been to a few chiropractors and the only thing they have ever done is use the drop bench. She is so thorough and im really jealous about it. It would be nice to find some one that cares about the client.
I love how clear and verbal the patient is ❤️
Vertigo is no joke I’ve had it
She is the sweetest patient doc and I absolutely love her accent it sounds like shes from the UK or something those accents are just beautiful to hear and I love how she tells you when she has vertigo and when it gets better or worse

Dr. Mondragon is THEE best chiropractor ever. Point blank period!
Audiology student here. This was a really interesting one for me.
First my symptoms might not habe been life threatening but i have aevere ptsd, aniexty, depression and after 10 months of no help I was at my wits end, so headubf toward suicidal. I'm still fighting to lose the weight I gained from this ordeal, with the Final diagnosis of fibromyalgia I HOPEFULLY can find a great balance of health and energy.
