Hopefully, Babolat makes their rackets more forgiving without sacrificing feel and stability. I've heard many stories of recent Babolats absolutely killing arms. Domi Theim can attest to that. I was hesitant to buy one, and I still am, but I am slightly open to getting an 18x20. It would either be the new Pure Strike or a Percept 97D in which I currently use the H model.
@user-ej8or3ts3q if the handle is too small in diameter then that can hurt your hand and arm too. You can install vibration dampening tech on/in your racket. Some put silicone in at the trap door with some small piece of metal/ steel ball in the silicone.
Your playtest 3.gen vs 4.gen Pure Strike: So you went from a 1.30 to a 1.25 string? Of course the sweetspot is going to be more . 1.25 is a max gauge for a 98 as a thumb rule. You also went from a half bad string Lux Adrena that goes death quickly and which scores around 6-7... to a much better string Razor Soft that scores 8-9. you also lower the tension from 25 to 24 kg. (from 55 to 53 Lbs) And now you suddenly like the racket.? The only thing they really changed is the rubber layup to flax inserts. The feel is a bit different. The 3.gen Pure Strike also gets an 8-9/10 all over the internet. Also from Areg. 3. gen plays very close to a Regna.and compares to Solinco WhiteOut and Radical MP 360+ Head extreme Tour.. and weighted up to a Pro Staff v14 The power level and the sweetspot are ranked in the top of all the 98's on TWU. Your playtest of the 3.gen was flawed. Only tiny difference from 3. to 4. gen Good day.
I have tried the 1st generation of this racket and I didn’t get on with it at all I couldn’t hit a backhand so i immediately changed to my Aeropro drive
1. gen sucks. 2. gen is legendary. 3.gen gets 8-9 out of 10...and 4.gen is pretty much the same but the feel. less muted is the 4.gen (2024). Also string choice and tension plays a huge role in how a racket plays
Oh no!! Didn't know that was the case! 98 is a good stick as well though. The 16x19 version of the 100 is also really good. Don't get too disappointed hahahah
@@gladiatorstribe I suffer from elbow injury and I was hoping to buy this racket. I'm using the Pure Strike 3rd gen (which you hated) and this new version would fit perfectly to me
@@fozucatto SInce then (reviewing the 3.gen) he has become a better player and chosen a better string and tension for the racket. 3. gen Pure Strike from 2019 has a larger sweetspot than the the expensive and much loved and bought Ezone 98 2023. that says a lot. Adrenaline 1.30 sucks in a 98 at 55lbs.... and razor soft 1.25 in a 98 at 53 is great. Fact is there is no much difference from the 3. gen to the 4.gen only the feel. If you need less stiffness and vibration bc of albow you should look not to Babolat. the 4. gen has about the same in vibration and flex. Go with Head Speed MP/Pro
Recently came across this channel. Probably the best tennis channel here. Please don't stop making videos
I love this reviews, hope this never end, love you grisha
Thank you so much!!
Great hitting and review!! I played with wood racquets back in the day, if the sweet spot is bigger then a dime I'm cool lol 😂
I have to admit I kinda like the simplicity of the design. It looks like a 80s sport car.

I rented babolat pure aero for two weeks, my arm hurt immediately

@@allainangcao28 Theim played too many matches and with very few breaks. The racket itself is only 66 RA stiffness which is middle of the road.
WAKE UP!!! ITS THE FIRST OF THE MONTH!!!
are u quoting - carti very curious never meet a fellow tennis player with carti sawg
How does it conpare to the boom pro when it comes to the sweet spot, power and control?
Recommend string for this racket?
what do you think about the one 18x20? because a break the string to much
more control and less power and less spin.
How does this racket compare to the ps vs?
How do you choose what strings to put on your racket?
resesarch and reviews and databases
Every video is a banger and every video makes me wanna go buy more tennis rackets lol
Never tried razor code soft is it worth a go
For sure! My favourite string
🤘 will give it demo
You look like the hero from how to train your dragon coz of the hair game😂😂

Watch out for the pure drive next year 😂

Does anyone know when this racket will go on sale?
It’s already on sale. Been for 6 months at least.
It's sad that the 16x20 100 head size is not expected to come to Brazil...

This is OK, but PLEASE more content of being a hitting partner or playing ex pros, and traveling..
Nice racket can you give it to me 😊
Деревяшка всё равно, нафиг. Возми сразу после неё yonix percept и всё понятно ...
You mean percept is much much better?
@@leventeyuboglu4501 yes, sure, so much control and no vibration to your hand.
