    He lost two close sets to Alcaraz and says he got his ass whipped 😮 he's very humble!

      It was in 2018, Carlos was 14 y.o. So I guess he really feels that way 🤪

    Pretty sure Alcatraz actually plays with a customized off the shelf aero 98

  • @vanodne

    It seems that your reviews almost always end with more or less the same mid-8 score, regardless of how much you liked the racquet. Perhaps the scoring system needs some refinement to emphasize the more important aspects (sexiness...really)?

      Sexiness is very important :P

      Something as subjective as an opinion on a racket can't come down to the scoring. It's just a reference and you should rely on the review itself. Sexiness is not accounted for the final score.

    Actually Carlos uses the PA98 and not the PAVS. If you look closely to his racket, you will see that there are no spin grommets(Pavs).

    Very good Video Grisha,i really like your content, but alcaraz is actually playing with the stockform of the pure aero 98.

    Thanks Grisha for the great review as always. I personally felt that it was a bit too soft and I liked the Pure Aero VS better. Ironically I switched away from the Pure Aero VS because of shoulder pain. 😂

    This is my racquet of choice now! The spin is so easy to produce and have better control on my shots. Also haven't had arm/shoulder issues coming from the Babolat Pure Drive 2018

    I use this racquet and have a one-handed backhand. I can tell you it cuts through the air a bit slower. It’s very similar to the Ezone 98.

      @@360cabbage hi 360 cabbage, I tried lead with my 100l and it didn’t make a difference, also tried my dads dunlop cx200 witch weighed around 320g with strings. I can handle the weight but the problem I had with the dunlop was how stiff it felt. I heard the radical idea the peoples racket and that the auxetic technology makes it softer.

      Demo the racquets from somewhere like Tennis Warehouse or if you have a local pro-shop

    • @TimelyAdventure
      @TimelyAdventure 9 місяців тому

      I’m playing with the MP 2021 which seems quite similar to auxetic, my topspin is off the charts and when my technique is on point I get nice power on drives and first serves. Would suggest demoing the auxetic or a much cheaper 2021 version it to see if it’s for you
