Hey there! I wanted to drop a comment to inform you and everyone else that you can go to the latest map version as well. You're not limited to choosing the 2019 version. The disclaimer message regarding 2020 vehicles simply advised against using the software altogether, but it didn't mention anything about the maps. Interestingly, I happen to own the exact same truck as you-a 2018 F-150 XLT with a 2.7L V6 engine and I just updated from SYNC 3.0 to 3.4 with 2022 maps! Thanks a lot for the helpful tutorial!
I would just like to add that if you have a navigator and want to do this be aware that 3.4 does not just adapt to the 10inch screen automatically. It can be changed to a 10 inch screen very easily using forscan and an adb adapter but just a heads up to anyone with a larger screen
@@Sean_Hannon the website is 100% trusted ? When I put my 2017 f150 vin on the ford website and it says it’s update and I check it on my sync and it says up to date. I do have the bigger screen as well
Oh Wow, cool truck, really nice... But what's with that hole in the back bumper? Kind of ruins it bro.
Just finished downloading and uploaded on the 2017 f150 truck, it works like charm. Thank you

Sir i have ford ranger Fx4 2022 Model which havn't navigation. how can possible without change stuck headunit? i need navigation in my fx4.
I don’t think it’s possible without replacing the unit itself
I tried to update mine a couple of years ago and it never worked but it was before this came out I believe. 2016 Lariat Special Edition

Ohhhh that’s good to know
Do not do this to your car. It'll brick your radio. Warning. !!!!!
Only if you do it wrong. Mines fine has been fine since it was done
So if I have sync 3.3 on my 2019 can I upgrade to 3.4? Or is this only for 3.0 to 3.4?
No you should be good to do it as well! It just gets you from whatever your at to the latest for your sync model
I updated and my fordpass app stop working, any one have this issue?.
First time I’ve heard of it being an issue.
Might be something else going on? Maybe update your FordPass app
I have a 2018 platinum, does anyone know if this works with all my trucks features? Pros/cons of doing this?
Does the truck need to be running for 42 minutes while it’s uploading?
I did drive around with it on just to make sure it didn’t interrupt it. I didn’t want to chance anything happening
Will this work on a 2016 f150 with 3.0
I don’t think so but maybe
Everything works as designed ? All features worked ? Kinda strange it’s from a weird site
I can make another video but everything works great! Navigation all the apps the phone in fact I think it even works a little better
