Thanks needed this for my ford everest but the WiFi method has never worked it would not scan for an update when I tell it to it just gets stuck but I will just download the file

It’s still sync system I believe but sync 4. Sync 4 is also found in newer Ford vehicles. Wish we could upgrade from sync 3 to sync 4

I can tell you this, they dropped the Taurus like a hot potato. I got Sync 3.0 on my Taurus, and it'll likely never get an update. I checked Ford's website, and there's a build update, but nothing significant
