This is the best lesson Joss has learned on the mock test, exposed to the harsh reality of city motoring. I've certainly learned alot from watching the video and hopes he gains more confidence in developing his driving skills. Hopefully Roland you will spare a moment in making video clips and tips on night driving at it's certianly dark at 4 pm in the UK😊
13:40 I can completely empathise. I've been so paralyzed with fear at times to change lanes because my anxiety peaks so i just keep driving. Needless to say, my journeys take twice as long with all the rerouting 🥺
Signalling and how you use speed will help! If the vehicle is too close look at the space behind and adjust speed accordingly. If you do it right the vehicle behind that is likely to leave you space… maybe I’ll do a vid on it.
I only passed last year and definitely would struggle with London or big city driving, I live in a village but do drive in built up areas and do occasionally push myself out of my driving comfort zone as best way to improve my driving confidence and experience. I think Josh did really well, especially being on camera. I passed when I was 50 and definitely wish there was a pass plus for older drivers as know I’d benefit from that.
Poor guy, I know exactly how he feels. This was basically me the other day when I went to Leicester. Some sketchy rural roads and slip roads onto dual carriageways. And the fact that it was the first time me driving in the dark I was terrified 😂😂. But as scary as it was I'm glad I did it and I have now completed my pass plus 😎
Now iv seen the whole vid...Poor guy looked traumatised with all those lanes and road signs.. he did such a good job to keep it safe and stay calm even though he knew hed messed up. Its crazy how different areas pose different skills. Great job for such a new driver.... dont ever invite me to drive that route!! 😂 wed end up in Skegness!! 😅
Wait..round here they'd get a serious for being undertaken if in the right lane going slow.. is that not usually the case for you southerners? 10k 10k 10k go go go
😝 Even down south that’s a fault.. he did get 2 serious for normal driving position, he was a bit slow to accelerate out of the roundabouts and I let one go as he moved straight back to the left…although as you know only one would be marked 🙌
I had this snow ball effect today in my mock test.so whats the solution?i thought i did something wrong from then on i messed up iv got my part 2 next week 😢
Don’t mark your own test. Focus only on road ahead and behind and leave whatever’s happened in the past!! If you’re ready you can do it!! Go get it done!
ADI Part 2 passed today after watching these videos
A massive help thank you 👍

So brave for coming to do this, Devon is definitely not London. Hopefully this will help him prepare more for future city visits!

A video would be appreciated. Thank you 😊
I know these roads very well, they are a tough drive on the best of days, let alone under test conditions.

He did!! Just roundabouts and second guessing himself on dual carriageways. He’ll be great!
@GetWheelDriving sounds like me! 🤣🤭 joking..obvs
10K go!
🙌 One day sooooon! 😊
Are you allowed to park on the single yellow line at the left side of road when examiner asked you to pull and park on safe place?
Thanks
Yes that’s fine… just make sure it’s next to a raised kerb. It’s pulling up not parking. 👍😊
