Rob Chapman. Thank you for 10 years of music and life related enjoyment! When I had the chance to meet you in Indianapolis Indiana you greeted me like a long lost friend! I don't know of many people who have achieved your level of success and that still care this much about fans. Please keep yourself up built as well. The world is a better place with Rob Chapman in it. Thank you!
And those Chapman guitars they make! Maaan!
Don't often comment Rob, but just wanted to say you are a fantastic role model for the kids, and an inspiration to the older ones too.
You are a completely unique bloke - that's what makes you special - you share your life with us for better or worse and I for one love it and you make me laugh often.

Well done on the video today. Many Thanks
That blue mesa rig is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life.
Please do more of these gear tours and/ or blogs like you did in your early days Rob. For me, they were some of your best content.
Greetings Rob! I enjoying my new EBMM stingray and watching your videos. Thanks for inspiring me to start my own guitar channel and create my own music!
Great equipment, nice room, especially the movie poster of the "Big Trouble in Little China"
Love the Boogie i have the same set up in the Custom Teal colour, Great amp, room is cool
Love that you're changing it up, but I could listen to you play the same guitar and amp all day lol. Love your videos and music. Keep it up!
The Mark V 25 is a beast. So versatile. It’s my favorite. Enjoy it, and thanks for the videos chappers!
It was a long time that you uploaded a new vidoe good to see you again Rob.☺🤘
Hello Chappers, love this room, and that MLV . Cheers.
Badass beard Rob!
Not bored never bored of the chapster!!
Not bored of you sir keep on doing what you do
It’s been some time. I enjoy these vlogs about your gear.
Rob when are we gonna see you and Cap review the British standard series Chapman guitars?
Awesome video rob!, never get tired or bored with your content brother, guitars and gear is my life and passion.... Would love to see that sonic blue boogie, which is absolutely amazing, in action one day with a proper demo video...cheers brother ,keep doing what you do man!
Kudos, Rob. It’s good to see how successful you’ve become over the years. You inspire many people.
I once had 2 guitars and 2 amps a the same time (which I had to get rid of due to kids and a mortgage) and I can’t imagine how awesome it would be to have a dozen guitars and a dozen amps lol. Keep rocking, buddy.
Happy for your happiness!
great now when we look up BADCAT and ORANGE we will see you mug thanks rob!
Good for you brother!! you guys all seem like really cool guys. Funny, I just bought a 594, love the guitar not crazy about the color, but you helped me get through it! And because I love the guitar I am starting to feel the color
That rug really ties the room together.
its the romance of playing an amp that the modelers will never capture, just like vinyl!
Love your Iron Maiden stuff Rob.....Fantastic job with you room man, am only a little bit jealous 😉
I am unbelievably jealous. nice room though, 10/10 would steal
I don’t comment often either (the silent majority) but there is not enough of you :) Even just watching you walk around a room was a fun and enjoyable commute home while my wife listened in the background asking if orange amps were the cute orange ones :) keep it up man.
Gwilym James exactly, it is hilarious and random when he turns up in other people's videos as well. Makes the UA-cam guitar world seem like a small family.
great set of sound makers .
That rug really ties the room together, hope nobody pees on it....
Or steals it...
I'll never have a rug, neither now or in the future, due to *cats* D:
Chappers' beard + new rug + general approach to life is making him more 'Dude' like by the day!
And it really does tie the room together too...
Hey man if you were not everywhere on you tube I may have never picked up a 6 string and started playing so thank you for all your content
It is a really nice rug.
Epic beard. It suits you!
The binding on that ML-1 with the maple neck is a very cool combo! Nice looking guitar, dude.
Chappers please do a vid where you rip on that small Boogie!! Love the new room! So cool especially the rug.
love the baby blue rig. He now needs a purple fade victory cab to go with the V. Purple Fade, all in my brain, lately things just don't seem the same.
Love the Big Lebowski reference. Very nice slide in there. Lol
YOUR BEARD IS AMAZBALLS!!!!
I’m liking the Negan look Chappers ;)
Nice System of a down beard. 😀
All i thought in the initial intro was "danggg... Rob's beard came along nicely" haha
That rug really ties the room together lol
Congrats on the boogie rob. I've got the surf green version . . Lovely amps with killer midrange. I even bought a sterling cutlass to match! It's all about the colour coding! :)
I'm proud to say I played that particular mark V 25 last time I was at andertons (with an ml3 pro modern) it's awesome
Hey Rob,
I have been following your channel as well as your associates channels for a long time now, own two of your guitars and often look to you for playing inspiration. Well I want to let you know you cost me a good deal of scratch $$ today :) I just bought a Bad Cat 40R. Black Friday special here in the USA, I got -$200 less than normal price and in a fancy red finish. Looking forward to rocking it out man. I need another boutique amplifier in my life like I need another hole in my head. My collection is vast to include, Orange, Dr Z, 65 Amps, Allen, Fuchs, and Boogie. Now I can add Bad Cat to that list, I have always wanted a Matchless style amp, I think this gets close. Cheers from Maryland, USA.
Thanks Rob!
Really TIE the room together, DUDE ...
That boogie is the colour of my soul
dude, you are the one point of sanity in a world of psychosis.
Yes, The smell of power tubes cooking !!!
I wish I have a bad cat! Nice New Room
While I wouldn't recommend to do this everyday, a shot of Southern Comfort in coffee is rather nice.
Great place to store picks
Hair still looks flawless 😎🤘
nice set up rob
Nice Thanks 4 Sharing
Room looks good...one day, I may achieve the goal of having a practice room that awesome
Looking forward to hearing those Chapman pedals...good chance that they may end up being my first Chapman acquisition
Hope to see more from you and Clockwork Wolf & Co in the future
That Dunlop octave fuzz sounds incredible. I’ve been running through boutique octave fuzz boxes and maybe need to give the basics a shot.
Chappers your never boring still love to watch all your gear demo vids keep on keepin on brother 🤘 btw I agree with using a real amp and real pedals it’s a lot more enjoyable an pleasing personally.
Life enjoyment... your doing it right. Godspeed and keep up the bearded villainy.
I fancy the spider-like reflection on the guitar at 13:30 :-)
Greetings from France
It really is a pretty nice rug, the other stuff is kind of cool too I guess.
i bet that OR100 could really shake the pillars of heaven.
Cool room, I suggest trying a Kiesel Zeus someday, the way you recommend sitting with a guitar in a previous video made me try one out and with the short heel they are very comfortable, great fiddles.
Great coffee recipe
Dude I just picked up a studio 22 a couple days ago. One of the old ones from the 80s. It’s so cool that you could have pretty much any amp you wanted but you choose the same one I did.
Get a lazy j 20 to add to your boutique collection, it will fulfil any and all of your vintage bluesy needs
The audio engineer in me immediately went, “oh boy that mic is waaaay too...(rob moves mic knowingly).....oh thank god” 😂
setup looks great rob, that badcat is a great amp. Really versatile and simple all at once strangely. I’ve used BC for a while in the studio now, they record very well.
Hey Rob, I was just wondering if you and Dave could maybe throw out some more stuff for bass?! I totally disagree about seeing you everywhere as overwhelming/boring, and the story of you guys coming from where you were to where you are now is so inspiring. I have been looking around for a 5 string bass to record with (in a melodic rock/metal style but with a flat tone), and I am heavily leaning towards the MLB1-5, but I would just love to see a little bit more about it in general? I can't begin to imagine how time consuming everything is, but as a bassist and lover of music - I would definitely appreciate more bass content as well!
I hope people can like this so that it has a greater chance of being seen! Much appreciated people :)
The Kemper is best suited for touring as to not run risk of destroying your valve amps on the road. At home/the studio, you can use the real deal that can easily be adjusted on the fly. Just make sure to profile the settings before hitting the road!
1. This video was classic cheeky chappers
2. That Mesa Boogie may be the best looking amp ever!
3. That is a wild pedal collection
4. Also love when you demo the Badcat you use a fuzz octave and wah to completely colour the true sound 😂 classic chappers but it sounded great
What you have between the Kemper and the real things is what I have with digital and film photography. I was really fascinated with how amazing digital sensors/cameras are years ago. And they still are and even more impressive nowadays. - But I turned bored because of the unlimited digital aspect, and being able to do about anything also gave me that "option paralysis" on top of that. - It just stopped having soul or meaning to me, so I put the camera down for years. - Then someone offered me a bunch of old film-cameras and I became inspired again. - It the physical thing, something that us humans can get into contact with, like it tangible and just more "organic". Cause in a way it is. - I think analogue equipment in expression and art is really essential to what you produce. Be it film for photography and printing and image, or using either valve or solid state amplifiers, or even analogue synths for electronic music, and things like recording to tape or records on vinyl... All of that bridges a gap between humans and materials, and direct to digital is just too sudden.
Lovely "RUM" rob 😂💜
OR100 is a badass amp for some raw saturated doom rock. The 3 types of gain in one dial is a great feature for versatility.
Big Trouble in Little China board game?!?!?! Yes, please!😁😁
Hey Rob, do you ever get the chance to play your big valve amps, such as the Oranges, seeing as you have other people in the house?
I'm sure that he has an attenuator for his collection.
Rob and vintage guitars. I cannot wait to see what he likes as he is coming from a whole new angle...... he is a guitar modernist......
Isn't that Boogie just a wolf in sheep's clothing? Great lil beast. Enjoy Rob.
Explosion!
My first tube amp was the Mesa Boogie .22 too. That's awesome. If you like the MK V 25? Wait to until you try the MK V 35. Its got a footswitch more like the MK IV, 4 EL-84s and it comes in a combo that weighs only 44lbs. Pretty sweet. I finally tried a Victory Sheriff 44 and its amazing. I need more of that in my life too. Heres to more Victory amps in the States!
I've always put salt in coffee for years, since I was a student chef/waiter and I'm 50 next year! Takes the bitterness away.
I noticed a Orange OR 100..... Nice one !
Only a few nights ago I was wondering where Rob is and thinking maybe something was wrong with my youtube account as I have not been getting any Rob Chapman videos for a while. Good to see you Rob. You look well and rather chilled. Nice room. The rug brings it all together. How's your little lad doing? I hope I live long enough to see him play that PRS and be the next guitar hero.
Wow this a room and gear tour I was just capture by the beard I didn’t even notice anything else 😂😂😂
haha you're the first person I've heard who can throat whistle like I do :P
That little mesa looks cute as hell
funny enough i love boogies aswell but best amp sound ive ever heard was a usa standard tele though a orange mk2 has like a glass charm about it :)
